Seasons 52 are always so nice to make anniversaries special. They also took a photo of us and printed it which we gave to our son because he was sad he didn't get to go on our date with us. The ambiance is always lovely and they offer a nice dessert complimentary on special events. Their beet salad is our favorite ever, it's big enough to share but it's so good I suggest you get your own. The balsamic glazed grilled Brussel sprouts are so yummy. You just can't go wrong with anything on their menu. They offer one of my favorite adult beverage which is Jam Jar Shiraz!!! The filet mignon and lobster tail was a pretty basic but solid meal. It will be good if you already really like filet mignon and lobster tail. However, the broccolini that it came with was amazingly seasoned. The gnocchi wasn't itself very tasty but with the tomatoes and herbs the dish came with it was alright. This review will be LONG and DETAILED. Seasons 52 is positioned perfectly at the main entrance of the mall, but that might be one it's down fall. We were a party of 10. Parking: TIGHT and limited. They do offer complimentary valet, but honestly they have to. Parking has to flow over to the JCPenny side, but that side is mainly all valet for the Mall. After looking for 10 min for parking, it was too dangerous to cross the busy main road with kids to get to the restaurant (at night) - glad valet is complimentary. If I had to knock them it would be for the limited parking and setup. Reservations: A MUST. We had reservations, but there were walk ins at 7:15pm for an hour wait. We had our reservations for 7pm, but wasn't seated until almost 7:30pm, due to a table taking their time to leave. They eventually had to be asked to leave. So this was not their vault. We were immediately seated with water and complimentary appetizers of 3 kinds of flat breads and spinach artichoke dip. All very tasty and fresh. The whole management staff and our waitress were hands on deck due to us getting seated late. Service: Impeccable! Our server, Lindsay, was very knowledgeable of the menu, understood on how to accommodate my kids, and super super friendly. We asked if they had crayons to color and while they don't, they had Boogie drawing boards for the kids (pictured). Drinks came out quickly and we event had 1 dish that went back and was fixed immediately for something else. Pro Tip: if you are celebrating a birthday, they do offer a compliment Champagne toast!! Food: Delicious and perfectly cooked - everything. I had the Lobster Bisque and I highly recommend it. My husband had the Filet and Lobster tail and it was perfection. I got to taste the plate of a whole roasted cauliflower and it was seasoned well with no harsh cauliflower after taste. Price point - on the higher end, but this is a steakhouse with a 52 wine options. You pay for the great food, ambiance, service and prime location. They also have 52 different wines by the glass. We ordered Southern-Style Shrimp and Grits with chorizo, bacon, stone-ground cheddar grits, and the Wood-Grilled Pork Tenderloin with french green beans, sweet potato mash, shallot-herb jus. I never tried grits before, so it wasn't bad for being my first time, I just don't have anything to compare it to, but the pork tenderloin was very tender, and tasty. I was able to visit the seasons 52 in North Carolina recently and then found we had one just opened up near me in Buford so thought I would take my mom here for a special meal. This is an upscale restaurant with price points a bit higher than Longhorn or other chains but lower than your steak houses such as Ruth Chris or Kevin Rathburn it has excellent quality food and service. We came at 1 to 130 to hopefully beat any crowd and being Christmas Eve it was actually not crowded at all so we got excellent service from our waiter Antonio. We both started with a cocktail and looked at the menu and decided on the broccoli flatbread which was absolutely fantastic. Broccoli bacon but really the broccoli flavor stood out and made this a really nice treat. After that my mom got the lobster bisque which she absolutely loved. And had the right amount of sherry maybe not a lot of meat but excellent flavor and quite rich. I opted for the tuna tartare with Sriracha which was a nice presentation and helping a fresh tuna avocado and imitation crab. I like it pretty hot so I put a good bit of Sriracha on for the heat and enjoyed every bite. We continued to get excellent service throughout the entire meal then our entrées game which included a pork tenderloin with roasted cauliflower and I opted for the grilled salmon and mixed salad. Again these were well presented and have excellent taste and flavor that we enjoyed and a treat for my aging mother he doesn't get to get out a lot due to her health. The entire staff seem to work as a team and enjoy their jobs which I really like to see ; the environment and atmosphere is very pleasant and again the price point keeps most entrées under $30 so no complaining on the price here. It's great to have a new restaurant with a mixed menu including a variety of cultures including some Asian fusion American and Italian. This is located in the mall parking lot along Highway 20 behind Chick-fil-A . Give it a try , you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend! The food was dainty in a good way. The presentation was like chef style. The portion are small which is perfect for me but my husband eats more so we had to order a second appetizer so he was full. The server was so great; very attentive, knew the menu, was very accommodating. I loved the wine and I don't usually drink wine. The server told me the name is Seasons 52 because they have 52 types of wines there. The dessert was small (matches the food portion lol). I recommend the restaurant but will hesitant before getting thanksgiving day meal. It was more of a semi-homemade for several sides. The salad had few additional vegetables besides lettuce. The dressing for the salad was good. Green beans were cooked well but needed some thing. We added toasted sesame seeds. Toasted almonds would have been good too. Cranberry sauce, stuffing and gravy excellent. Turkey both dark and light was good, but the next day when I turned over the light slices of Turkey there is something dark and stripes on bottom ( see pictures) reminded me of cooked sea bass skin. Yuk! Dessert was sweet so very good but ginger snap cookie was missing. Disappointing. It was good but not as good as Ted's Montana Grill Thanksgiving Day meal. But better than Whole Foods. I came here for lunch after shopping at perimeter mall. I walked in asked the lady at the hostess stand if it was ok to sit at the bar she said yes, I sat down at the bar, the bartender greeted me and sat a place mat in front of me as I was waiting on the bartender to come back with my water and to give my order another lady who I presume worked there informed me that they have a dress code and asked if I had another dress to put on because a guest had complained about my outfit. I informed her that I do not have another dress seeing as I just came from the mall and just was looking for a quick lunch, but I said I will just leave if I'm causing an issue. As I was sitting in my car something told me to look up the dress code, I couldn't find one, I called into the restaurant that I had just walked out of and asked for their dress code the lady who answered the phone said there wasn't one. So I walked back inside to speak to someone, a manager (a black lady *this is only important because I didn't get to get her name so whomever the female black lady manager that was there 9/20/2024 at around 14:30-15:44 this part is about her) I'm assuming came up to the hostess stand and I immediately asked what is the dress code? She started with a lot of "ohs and uhms" and stated well nothing to revealing and you can't have your butt cheeks showing. I then informed her that there is no dress code on the website and I called in and was told that there wasn't a dress code, so what was the problem? I ran down the encounter at the bar and it was then that she revealed she was the one who made the call to remove me for my outfit, but most importantly she informed me that she saw me at the door initially. I immediately get upset because instead of speaking to me at the door, she waited until I was at the bar, sitting down with a place mat in front me getting ready to order to embarrass me. I informed her that the dress I was wearing was a skort dress and had shorts underneath it so maybe since I just got out the car and it was raised a little bit it could have been adjusted if I was informed it was an issue but I can assure you all who are reading this review my butt cheeks weren't just hanging out I don't even walk around like that. She then goes to ask well can the dress be adjusted I gladly turned around and showed her it could be but that I didn't want to eat at her establishment because how she went about everything initially was RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, but most importantly EMBARRASSING!!!!! Why would I want to go back and sit and SPEND MY HARD EARNED MONEY in an establishment that kicked me out by discriminating based off of what she looked and perceived but didn't give me the option then to adjust it and waiting until I was already seated amongst the bar which I also may like to add if my butt cheeks were the problem by the time I sat down you wouldn't be able to see them anyway. But why on earth would I want my bare cheeks to touch a public seat to begin with. She was beyond rude, never apologized but most importantly made sure to embarrass me rather than to give me decent respect. This is an amazing place to celebrate, in this case a double graduation. The atmosphere is upscale but it's quiet enough that a group can talk without shouting. The drink / wine selection is amazing. Service is excellent and attentive. But the food is amazing. The focus on seasonal dishes is there edge. We had several appetizers including crab cakes and flatbread for the table. I had scallops that were so well seasoned, over polenta and spinach. Those that had salmon, pork chops and other dishes all cleaned their plates. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Seasons 52. We used the online reservation system, which was fast and user friendly, and once we checked in with the gracious folks at the host stand, we were seated in moments. Our server, Megan, was absolutely lovely. She had insightful recommendations about the menu and steered each of us to a fantastic entree. We started with the mushroom flatbread for the table, everyone raved about it. I enjoyed a gin cocktail with fresh sage and cranberry, and one of my guests had the seasonal martini, which was shaken and served table side. Megan recommended the Kona Crusted loin of lamb and guided me through the wine list to pick out the perfect glass for my entree. I am impressed with the wine knowledge she shared with us. Chelsea assisted Megan with cocktail service table side, and was so sweet to come over and ensure we all had what we needed. Several servers stopped by to make sure we did not have unnecessary plates on the table, despite not being our server. Austin was close by and pulled some empty plates from the table and chatted with us for a moment. Brad, the Managing Partner, and Romondo, the gentleman on expo, also came over to say hello and thank us for dining with them. As we left, we were thanked warmly by Kim, who had made sure our table was properly manicured all evening. First time dining at any of the locations. The building is beautiful and a nice patio area. It's in front of the mall of Georgia, but has its own parking lot. We had reservations, which I recommend because there were many people waiting. The atmosphere is nice, but very loud. Lots of wine options. Menu is not your usual fare. The calorie count seemed low for everything, hoping it's accurate somehow. My food was delicious and I would definitely order it again. I have always thought the marketing of this place has sold me on being seasonal high-quality food, but my experiences have in no way lived up to that. I have been here twice and not all that impressed with the quality of the food for the price of things. The decor and staff are top-notch, but that will only take you so far. The first time was a bad experience and I think it was an issue of them being understaffed and kitchen problems which we had made up to us with a bunch of complementary items brought to us, but they were not all that great. After that experience, I stayed away until I decided to give it one more try... I came here for dinner and the staff was great, but the food was mediocre at best. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms and Korean skewers. They were out of the skewers and the stuffed mushrooms with crab and shrimp were a miss. Lacked flavor and the mushrooms were small with a strange spinach mixture layer and a thread of crab and tiny shrimp. Really hoped for something more based on the cost... The steak and lobster tail was just okay and honestly, the lobster had a fishy taste to it which had me questioning the quality and the steak was medium well, but tasted more like well done. The waitress brought me about a new lobster tail and it was not any better... I was questioning why I decided to come back... Unless I am meeting someone here for a business event I think they struck out with me after two strikes. read more
