I loved stopping in at Seasons 52. Located on the plaza, parking is easy enough with various free parking garages. If you arrive early enough to the bar, you can snag a happy hour beverage. Our meal was affordable, healthy, and delicious. The Brussel Sprouts as a side was delicious. My steak was cooked perfectly on the salad and our server took excellent care of us. We will be back!

Came here to celebrate a graduation with family and man. I'm still dreaming of that Chilean sea bass! We grabbed reservations here so no problem with the wait. Our waitress was great and took very good care of us. The ambiance of the restaurant was great! Definitely made it feel like a special occasion. We ordered a handful of appetizers, sides, and mains. I got myself an old fashioned and it was delicious. The sea bass. Oh my goodness. The caramelized crust on that bad boy was to die for. A slight sweetness from the glaze, but pairs so well with the rice and scallions. I could eat this every day of my life and be perfectly happy about it! Seriously though. It's so good. The truffle risotto was great. The flatbread was great. Everything was great. Definitely come here if you're wanting to celebrate anything! Or just celebrate life in general!

Another great visit for dinner. We sat on the patio with our dog and enjoyed drinks and a meal. The garden salad was generous enough for us to share and the vinaigrette had just the right amount of twang for us and the nuts gave a satisfying crunch. My steak was cooked perfectly as was my wife's trout, potatoes and asparagus rounded out the meal. They brought our dog out a water bowl so she was comfortable as well

The second time was a charm !! Emily, our waitress was exceptional. Her enthusiasm for the menu, her energy from the moment she greeted us, was infectious. She made this second visit to Seasons 52 for me well worth it. The ambiance was casual but upscale enough for a date night. I was hesitant as my first visit was not the best from but it was my birthday and Restaurant Week, what a combo. The restaurant week menu was perfect as I don't eat beef or pork, so I was very pleased to see a scallop meal option. The pricing for the meals was also affordable and filling. My scallops were seared perfectly, and the flavor they carried paired all with the green beans and potatoes. If you are a seafood lover, I'd definitely recommend trying them. Now, for the dessert, we selected the turtle cheesecake dessert, which was smooth, creamy, and decadent. From the picture, it may not look like much, but it was just enough to top off the meal.

First and foremost, a big thank you to Seasons 52 for an EXCELLENT dinner on NYE!!! I never clean my plate when I am eating, but this was an exception. The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous. Rustic combined with intimate. For our appetizer, my husband and I ordered the shrimp and crab stuffed mushrooms. My husband is not a huge fan of mushrooms, but couldn't stop eating these and the same goes for me. For entrees, I ordered the shrimp and grits. Being from the South and having eaten New Orleans' shrimp and grits, I was curious to see how this would match. Congratulations, Seasons 52, your shrimp and grits beat New Orleans' for me! The chorizo, shrimp, and tomato mixture was to die for. My husband ordered the lamb and had me try it as well. The lamb was very juicy and tender!!! We also ordered aside of macaroni and cheese, which goes down as one of the best mac and cheese we've ever had. For dessert, I ordered the peanut butter cup dessert mini and my husband ordered the cookies and cream mini. Both were gone in seconds; that's how decadent they were!!! The 4/5 stars are only because our waiter was very weird-acting throughout the service. Whenever he would deliver our food, he would just stand there staring at us after we said, "Thank you" or do the same thing at other times. We will definitely return!!!

I'm giving 5 stars because I was so excited to see a kid's menu that had other items on it besides hot dog, cheeseburger and chicken strips. Overall service and food were outstanding!

Went there for the first time as an anniversary dinner and definitely plan on going back. Don't usually like mushrooms and these did not disappoint. Mashed potatoes were also some of the best I've had! My boyfriend also made the reservation under "Anniversary" and they put this anniversary sign. Such a cute touch! Definitely recommend.

Food was fantastic. Service was fantastic and the ambiance was great. A perfect place for a date night. Our server did a great job of taking care of us. We started off with the ahi tuna tartare which was delicious. It tasted fresh and was a nice and light starter before the main course. I had the lamb loin and she had the sea bass. The lamb was juicy and tender and the Yukon mash and asparagus complimented the dish well. Medium rare is definitely the way to go with the lamb. The sea bass was also super delicious. It was flavorful, juicy and had a nice crust from the sear. Both dishes tasted amazing and I recommend them both. I would definitely come here again for another fancy date night.

There is 2 hour street parking available around the restaurant which was easy to get mid week. We had a private area for our group of six and Michael was our server. The service he provided was excellent. The low lighting created a relaxing environment for our group to enjoy lunch while chatting and catching up. The food was all very good. The portion size is good and most options were under 600 calories and everything tasted fresh. Everyone enjoyed their meal and left some room for dessert. My salmon was excellent and the green beans and potatoes paired with the dill mustard was yummy. There weren't any dairy free options for dessert but everyone who got a dessert enjoyed theirs (key lime and s'mores), loved the presentation of the dessert as well.

Celebrated a birthday here and had a wonderful time! We ordered the Pesto Chicken and Fresh Mozzarella Flatbread and the Roasted Tomato Flatbread to share. Several of us got the 6oz filet mignon with a Maine lobster tail. The potato skillet was the highlight out of everything. It was delicious! Our server was so helpful and kind, she made the whole experience even better. The restaurant was busy but not very noisy, and we ended up staying until they closed because we had such a great time.

We come here for an annual holiday party once a year. They do a lovely job of setting up the dining area that is for your party or event. They started the evening with multiple samples of their appetizers and a variety of selections from the bar. We were seated, and they had a set menu for us to choose from. The salad was full of flavor and the crunch from the toasted almonds was perfect. Our main dish was the option of a filet, pork chop or seafood item. The filet was cooked perfect. They brought out mini desserts and there were a variety of flavors which were the perfect size.

Years ago, I made my first visit to Seasons 52. It was not my kind of menu or concept at the time, or so I thought! Jump ahead a decade or so and I'm a fan for a host of reasons but, mainly because they hit all my criteria(hot buttons)for an enjoyable meal. In addition, I'm not generally a fan of chains but, these guys pull it off. Their level of consistent execution in food preparation, presentation, and overall hospitality is incredible. They deserve bonus points for pulling it off in this day and age when other establishments are using labor, supply chain, etc excuses for not! You will find this location on Country Club Plaza meets your expectations. You'll be tempted to dine at all the other places on these few streets IN THE PLAZA Instead but, do as I've done over the years and enjoy them all. However, Seasons 52 is a must.... Go!!

Seasons 52 is a popular spot in the plaza area of Kansas City to enjoy a fancy dinner. Fine dining with delicious meals! Entree recommendations: 6 oz Wood-Grilled Filet Mignon entree, Caramelized Grilled Sea Scallops entree, or the Cedar Plank - Roasted Salmon entree. ALL entrees were phenomenal. I'd also recommend starting with a house salad, the Lobster Bisque, or the Caramelized Brussels Sprouts. Lastly, make sure to try one of the mini indulgent desserts. My favorite was the Belgian Chocolate S'Mores Mini. Another table favorite was the Salted Caramel Turtle Cheesecake Mini.

The photos looked amazing, and this place has solid reviews so I was walking in with a certain expectation. What was remarkable is how it was even better than I thought it would be. Let's start with the ambiance. The actual cafe is very small but charming. If it's cold or rainy outside you might need to skip Le Champion unless it's not busy as I think only a few folks can really fit inside. The inside is well designed though, and feels charming without being overwhelming. What stole the show for me though was the patio. As someone who studied abroad in France it felt so French to me in the best way. To me, it feels like taking a Parisian cafe and mixing it with a hip KC bar - it doesn't feel necessarily exactly like one or the other, but it compliments both and feels uniquely it's own in the best way possible. On the day I visited it was absolutely gorgeous outside and I had one of the best breakfast burritos of my life, mostly due to their chimichurri sauce. I also pretty much add a star for any place that keeps espresso tonic on the menu. Overall I love Le Champion and can't wait to return.

Great upscale Italian atmosphere without making you feel like you need to pronounce every menu item with an accent. The menu has a nice variety, and our waiter was fantastic. He took the time to explain the dishes and even gave us a heads-up on which items took longer to prepare. I always appreciate the honesty--nothing worse than wondering if your entrée is being handcrafted by Italian grandmas in the back. The drinks were delicious and surprisingly reasonably priced. We did find out they have a happy hour at the bar...right after we missed it. Rookie mistake on our part! The lasagna absolutely stole the show. Rich, flavorful, cheesy, and worth every bite. If you're on the fence, order it. The appetizer was tasty but felt a little small for the price, so I'd probably save room (and money) for more pasta instead. Overall, I'd definitely come back to work my way through the menu. Next time I'll aim for happy hour, order another pasta dish, and try not to let the lasagna set unrealistic expectations for everything else.
