I went to this cafe because their sign advertised pastries and food with gluten free options. When I asked about gluten free the staff member responded with a curt no. I proceeded to order food but his demeanor never improved. They also charge an additional $1 per dish for to go orders. The good was extremely lackluster and overpriced for the quality. Found this spot for dinner back in February. It was perfect! The owner was the cook and server that night. Only a handful of us in there so it was fine. Owner was super friendly and made the best pasta dish that night. Returned for dinner in July and ordered same meal, which was again very good! Have since returned for lunch twice. Most recently my husband had the steak sandwich, which he recommends. I had the ceaser wrap -could've used a bit more dressing (or a bit stronger dressing). Pasta salad and potato salads are excellent. I didn't catch our server's name but he was excellent (super friendly and very attentive to our party of 4 plus dog). Btw, my friend thought the server looked like Harry Potter and told him so. If looking for a fast meal, this place isn't it but if you have time to hang out and relax, should be a good option. read more

The food itself was amazing. My husband and I both got the triple club and were surprised at how good it was! As for the service? Horrible. My husband was finding a parking spot while I found something to get for us to bring back to our hotel room. Whole looking over the menu, the waiter rudely asked how much longer I would need - confusing me, as there was only one other table. After ordering for both my husband and I, the waiter asked why I wasn't getting any drinks. I told him we had water at our hotel. He rolled his eyes and left. When my husband joined me, he asked why I ordered for us both if he was going to be coming too. Another waiter smiled at us and seemed to feel awkward about how rude his coworker was being, but didn't say anything. While we waited, the waiter was short and rude with several other customers and even yelled at his coworkers. Unfortunately, next time we'll be skipping the good food to find somewhere with a friendlier waitstaff. read more

I'll preface by saying this restaurant is in Cannon Beach, a beautiful location that is a bit pricey and slow paced. There is not "cheap" food in Cannon Beach that I've found, so when I talk about affordable, I'm not talking about a burger and fries for $5. If you want fast food, go to Seaside. As far as affordable dining in Cannon Beach, Seasons cannot be beat when the price is taken in consideration with the quantity and, even more importantly, quality of the food. I mean, $10 for a large sandwich with delicious ham, salami, slabs of mozzarella cheese, fresh tomatoes and basil and the most perfect balsamic vinaigrette reduction and pesto sauce? C'mon. Plus a side of fresh fruit, kettle chips, homemade pasta salad or potato salad (the potato salad is the best I've ever had). Since moving to Cannon Beach a few months ago, I've eaten at this place about a dozen times, and the food and espresso drinks always are delicious. Never once has the food failed to exceed my expectations. I've had their Reuben sandwich, the basil, tomato and mozzarella sandwich, a tuna melt and the most delicious three-cheese spinach ravioli topped with crab (the chef is excellent). Everything is made right on the spot with fresh, amazing ingredients - even the pasta for the ravioli - and it makes a HUGE difference. I've eaten at restaurants all over Cannon Beach and rarely have I found the same degree of high-quality ingredients for the same affordable price. Do you substitute a small degree of expediency in order to have your food made fresh (meaning you won't get your food brought out in 5 minutes)? Of course. But not that much, and you are served water and your drinks almost immediately. Plus, if you're in a big hurry, you can get the food to go, which is nice. The servers are attentive, kind and extremely competent. Also, the drinks are amazing. They don't do brewed coffee, but instead offer Americanos, or espresso in hot water. Lastly, the atmosphere is lovely. I love coming at night on the weekends, as the outside is laced in twinkle lights for a very nice ambiance. I am disappointed. Since they had a kids menu, and the restaurant was nearly empty, I figured it would be a good place for my 2yr old daughter and I to grab lunch. Apparently the waitress disagreed, she dropped off waters without a word, and later appeared at the table silently, which was awkward considering I saw her warmly greet the middle aged couple who walked in behind us, with offers of drink orders and specials. I ordered for my daughter first, and asked for a minute more for my food. She walked away and I assumed she was putting in the first order, but I was wrong. I ordered the curried chicken pita, ordered a grilled cheese for my kid. I got my pita but my daughter got a quesadilla with two sour orange slices on the side. Not worth complaining about, but disappointing to get the order completely wrong, and when it came out, it was so hot that it nearly burned my hand, and when it finally cooled the edges of the tortilla were rock hard and not good. I wanted to love my curried chicken pita, large ripe slices of tomato, cool cucumber, hummus and lettuce. But it was so salty, that the curry flavor barely came thru and there was more salt flavor than anything else. I hoped a special recipe cookie (maple bacon) might redeem them, but no, it was boring and lacked flavor. We feel fortunate to have stumbled upon this cute little cafe for lunch today. The main drag was crowded with lumbering tourists waiting impatiently in line or for a table to open up at various joints about town. This spot is tucked back among the little shops, just enough off the beaten path that it was blessedly not crowded. There is outside seating or you could order take out, but we opted for an inside table. I can only take so much direct sunlight (from Seattle.) I had the Chicken Caesar Wrap which was perfect. Light, tender pieces of chicken, romaine and Parmesan with almonds and cranberries. I think it might be my new favorite thing to include almonds and cranberries in sandwiches. Husband and son had the BLT. Big fat slices of white lightly toasted bread with typically good BLT stuff inside. Littlest had half a three cheese sandwich which was gooey and delicious. We opted for chips on the side. Service was great, polite and relatively quick. This is not fast food people. I think sometimes diners on vacation can be a little testy. Order a beer (they have a great selection) and relax and enjoy the people watching. read more

My husband and I got soup and sandwiches to go from season's cafe. It was just about 12pm and they were starting to get busy. The women behind the counter felt so rushed she literally threw the bag of sandwiches over the counter to me, with the plastic to go boxes landing on their side. When I looked at her with a startled look, she said "it's yours". As if that was why I was confused. I knew they were mine, I was just confused as to the reason they were being thrown at me. After that ordeal we walked down to the beach to enjoy our lunch. My husband got a veggie wrap that was pretty good. Fresh vegetables and even ripe avocado. I got the albacore tuna. It was dripping in mayo and far too rich with the Havarti dill cheese. The bread was thick with a good texture but had just about as much flavor as wonder bread. On top of it all, they didn't include my pasta. This could be a good place with a little more attention and care to service and flavor. read more

Have eaten here a couple times and had their catering at a few events over the past couple months. Always good but never took the time to yelp it. Yesterday I had a Ruben (pastrami) and it was fantastic. I'm no ruben rookie and have the love handles to prove it and this was a really, really good one. It was a quite Thursday afternoon in Cannon Beach so service was great, didn't realize they have a great beer/wine selection and dinner menu which I will soon check out. This is my FAVORITE place to visit for a meal while in Cannon Beach. You cannot go wrong with any of the many options. Today my fiancé enjoyed the Aussie Dip with their pasta salad and the sandwich was full of flavor and came with lots of meat! I ordered the three cheese sandwich and I was blown away. Lots of melted cheese, tomato and crusted Parmesan cheese toasted on the outside of the bread. It was superb! I also purchased a cup of their coma chowder and was quite impressed. They were wonderful to work with, the lunches were delivered right on time and completely accurate even with 13 different lunches with substitutions and additions, and everything tasted fantastic. Reuben sandwich: excellent, with a good beef/cabbage ratio and enough sauce to taste it but not enough to drip all over yourself. Antipasto sandwich: also excellent, sort of like pizza, and great if your party disagrees on what kind of cuisine to go for :) My clam chowder was delicious and the pasta salad that came with the Antipasto sandwich was also quite good. We ordered full sandwiches, but would have been fine with halves. They are good-sized, but not unreasonably so. Bring your appetite and leave happy! Service was very friendly and prompt, though food was a bit slow coming out. What an incredible dinner spot! The spinach ravioli with fresh(and yes it was actually fresh) crab was amazing! I literally cleaned the bowl with the nice crusty bread they served it with... which says something since I am kinda a pasta snob. GREAT price for the quality of the food and atmosphere.
