Unfortunately, my experience hasn't been the best. The sale/purchase was simple and so friendly. On 7/13/25, I purchased a swim spa, I was told it was a 2-4 week fabrication and a call for delivery. 4 weeks went by and no contact. At 6 weeks I got a text asking if I was ready to schedule delivery. I called this rep, and she was shocked that I hadn't had any updates from the sales or anyone. The spa was delivered on 8/29/25. I called today 9/7/25 to advise my sales representative that the spa had a leak. I was met with a "hmmm" almost as if I didn't know what I was talking about. She put in a work order, but I was told it could be "a day, a few days, a week or two weeks". We'll see how long it actually takes. A word of advice if anyone cares, do your research and go with a company that offers more than drop it in your backyard, gives you the manual and tells you to call if you have any set up questions. It's no one's fault other than my own, but I definitely feel that I should have gone elsewhere, as a swim spa is a completely different animal, than a standard spa. A little bit of guidance and customer service for set up, would go a long way. If I could get my money back and have them remove this swim spa, I would. Extremely disappointed that such an expensive purchase is leaking and may not be looked at for "a while". read more

I was expecting to get better customer service from the employee there. If you go in there please make sure that you talk to the gentleman there and not the older lady. She seems like she's just there for the money and not really wanting to help and understand her customers that have no idea about buying a pool for their family. Also make sure you get clarification about what comes included so you won't end up paying more at the end of the transaction. I don't believe I will be buying anything from this location anymore because I was very unhappy with my purchase and paying the extra money that I could had used for something else. We had been looking for above ground pool all summer. Saw a post on FB about a sale from Secard. I'll called my local place and they happen to have one in stock. I spoke to Charlotte on the phone and she was very informative. Upon showing up, she showed us the pool on display and explained the sale. We ended up buying the pool and as scary as it was to build and set everything up, Charlotte was very helpful along the way. I gave them four stars because they left out the four corners of the main frame. Delayed our setting up our pool by two days. When I called in, Charlotte told me to come in. I go into the store on waterman atleast 2 times a month for my pool needs . Every time I go there in lady in there makes me feel uneasy. Her customer service skills are horrible .NEVER gives me eye contact . She has never smiled for me or gave me the impression she really likes my kind or wanted to help me really . I am an African American and she gives the impression that she's bothered by that. It makes me want to walk out when I see she is the one working .That's not good business and there are other pool places that would welcome my business . The other 2 workers there never gives that impression. So a hr after writing a review I go into the store . The lady is short as usual , no eye contact . I give her my debit card ( same card I have always used in the 3 to 4 months shopping there ) she asks me for my I.d . So I walk back to my car to get my I.d . I ask her y am I being carded she gives me an answer that don't make since but tells me knows I come in all the time . I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DIME AT THAT STORE . This review is purely based on customer service as our pool remains unfinished. Throughout this whole project, communication has been spotty. At one point, we were told that no more work would be scheduled as we were two payments behind, even though we would constantly ask about when payment is due. They do not seem to be on the same page as the county requirements as we have hit a few issues where Secard says one thing, and the county inspector says another. We dealt with all this and let it all go; however, after this recent issue, I've decided enough was enough. The county inspector informed us that our back fence is not tall enough and that we would need to increase its height to pass inspection. We contacted Secard and informed them (one would've thought that they would know the regulation). We asked for a quote from them to perform the necessary work. Because the fence is brick, Leanne proceeds to give us the phone number for the mason that had done the previous work on the front brick fence to enable the bobcat into the backyard and tells us to call and speak with them because she says simply "we don't want to deal with it". Mind you, we have paid close to $70k and are $2k away from the project being finished. The last couple things we need are the electrical done and the installation of the pool liner. While the pool liner has to wait until the fence is up to code, the electrical should be able to get done. But, alas, we have not heard a peep from Secard. read more

Worst company ever. Should be able to give negative stars. We waited 10 months for our spa, we were told it would be 3-4 months. It was finally delivered, but doesn't work. We called, everyone we spoke to has been super rude, we were told someone would come out and fix it, but it would be 2 weeks. That is tomorrow, we had not heard back from them, so we called today to confirm, again, super rude, after several calls, I still don't know if someone is coming tomorrow or not. Tl;dr - I ordered a pump, filter, and timer at their recommendation to fix my green pool and aging system. After a month of "work" and several forgotten pieces I'm left in the same position as when I started but having spent a small fortune and several scheduling induced headaches. UPDATE: after waiting another week they finally sent out a service worker. He delivered the missing timer parts and "properly" assembled the skimmer to the pump which still does not run enough pressure to clean my pool. He gave up and said he was done. Having a real rough go with this company. They cannot make up their mind what they offer. I called ahead for pricing on equipment and services and was told one thing. Then I went into the shop to finalize and purchase my order and was told different details. Then I was contacted by their service/installation department who let me know they would only be doing SOME of the work I ordered because the shop attendant didn't record it properly and those services aren't something they offer. The shop attendant let me know he would include some pool chemicals for the trouble, but it's no-where to be seen. Now 2 weeks later the service guys show up to install the equipment (no chemicals with them) and they find out they forgot some crucial connecting pipes at the shop. Rather than go get them or call in a rush order they call it a night, leaving my old equipment lying in my yard and my new equipment set in place but not connected. The next day I get a call from the service department saying it will be another week before she can send somebody out. This is a very frustrating experience. Another week passes and, after showing up almost an hour late, they finally get the pipes connecting the pump to the filter but cannot get the pressure they want from the skimmer pipe so they laid a 2" pvc pipe across my yard into the pool. This way the pump is "connected" but since they apparently lost the timer clips from the first install now my timer is a gloried on/off switch and my pump just runs round the clock. Now, a month later, I'm still waiting on them to bring timer clips and connect the pump to the pool in a typical manner instead of their time saving work around and I'm having a hell of a time getting them to send someone out. read more

*Final Update: Sorry for update delay. We ordered our swim spa 5/17 and received a swimspa on 7/9 thanks to the efforts at Secard's corporate office. It appears Covid has taken an unprecedented toll on the spa manufacturers. That being said, we are thankful Secard's corporate staff was able to help in this matter. Our swimspa is beautiful, we are pleased with our purchase. My take-away from this experience has been that Secard's staff is personable and eager to help, but much appears to be out of their hands pertaining to your spa production. Antonio was helpful with instructing is on how to maintain our new pool, and gave us all we needed to get it up and running and maintained. Original Review: Was very hopeful and excited when I purchased our swim-spa from this location. I was told 3-4 weeks for delivery- what a lie! I was very clear I needed my delivery in a certain timeframe, and could not be waiting extra weeks for it. Sad thing is, I had been told by other spa dealers not to believe Secard's delivery promises but I got a good vibe from Antonio our sales rep and sadly have paid a lot of money for a swim-spa that no one can tell me when it will be delivered. Chris at the construction office has been good at communicating, but Antonio and LeAnn have not been helpful. I've called (their office line was out) , sent emails (never once got a reply), asked for a manager to call and never heard from LeAnn. I was told by the construction office that I should have never been told 3-4 weeks, so just know you can't trust their timeline. Bought an inground pool. There were many delays. They kept demanding that I fill out their survey even though installation was not complete. Warranty period started well before pool was finished or usable. Liner did not fit corners and vinyl tore. They denied warranty coverage. Other pool venders I've contacted immediately identified the pool and are familiar with Secards poor warranty service. For as much as we spent on the pool and how much we are going to have to spend to repair their poor workmanship I wish there was something less than 1 star. read more

Update. I called corporate cal spas and they informed me that Secards didn't file a warranty claim until April 6th. 5 weeks after I originally called for the warranty repair. Per Cal Spas, Secards dropped the ball. Still no repair since February 23rd. Leann, Charlotte or Stephanie at both the retail location and the construction office never call you back when they all say they will, for warranty coverage after my Cal spa has formed cracks in the glossy acrylic shell. After months of calls it got repaired last year then the repair starts cracking again. Here we go again!!! First called again this year in February and they said they would contact me as it takes time I gave them a month (trying to be patient)) to call me back and that never happened. Numerous phone calls later from me to all of them they finally give me the acrylic guys phone number (Herb, the only guy they have for acrylic repairs) that was supposed to call me but never did of course so I called him and all he says after I tell him all the days I'm available is "OK". 2 and a half months since the first phone call and still no repair. We are new to the high desert and looking to install a pool for family gatherings and enjoyment. We researched some pool providers and contacted Secard Pools. The sales team was knowledgeable of the area, codes and terrain. We had 2 salespeople on our project and Leanne was awesome throughout the process. She described all the options, costs/benefits and made some great suggestions. Once we were under contract, she remained involved throughout construction to help remove blockers, solve problems and address issues. Inevitably a construction project would run into bumps and having Leanne on the team was an excellent resource. The Construction team worked diligently and stayed on schedule and worked with the city on the inspection and permit process. The Customer Support team came in after that and was great to provide tutorial to us to maintain, operate and upkeep the pool and the systems. The process took about 9 months from initial meeting to finish. We are very happy with our 30x15 rectangular vinyl in-ground Islander pool, salt-system and look forward to enjoying it this Summer!! Adding a pool is a big undertaking and you want professionals, friendly and customer service oriented people on your team and I'm glad Leanne and Secard were on my team.
