What a great new place on the Nautical Mile! Hubby and I shared two dishes, a Pad Thai with tofu and a Red Curry with vegetables and shrimp. The pineapple in the curry dish gave it the perfect amount of sweetness. Both portions were well-sized, albeit a bit on the pricey side for the protein add-ons. As a fan favorite of Thai food, I was a bit skeptical to try this spot, especially since restaurants on the mile haven't been that great in my opinion; but Secret Thai was GREAT. We came for lunch on the Fourth of July and enjoyed their lunch special. I had a Chiangmai cocktail, spring rolls, pineapple chicken fried rice, and crispy wings. We came midday on a weekday so it wasn't busy. The food is great, the secret Thai wings seem double fried and their sauce is amazing. They had a very good deal on a lunch special as well and I got the pad see ew. It was also very good, she got the pineapple fried rice and loved it. Their Thai iced tea is also amazing. The first time I ate at Secret Thai I explained this to the waiter and he was more than accommodating. He personally spoke to chef and was able to make changes to the way the hood was prepared so I could enjoy my meal with my husband. Not many places would do that for you. The menu is the menu.
