You wouldn't normally think of a Storage Company when thinking about excellent customer service...one might think of it as more of a simplistic transaction where you might not ever encounter the manager of the property. But in the case of SPS, the customer service is really quite remarkable. We've been clients for about a year and everything has been taken care of so professionally and smoothly. We walked in and met Steve, who was able to get us a great rate, set up our auto-payments, and provide us with clear information about our unit and loading in. It was on the weekend and we were ready to get stuff moved into the unit as fast as possible as we were tackling chores and wanted to get the stuffed moved and out of our hair. The property is very secure, with coded gates and active surveillance. The units are clean and it is obvious that everything is well-taken care. Your phone calls are answered promptly (no endless ringing or leaving a voicemail that is never returned). I just called to cancel my service because we are moving to a bigger place with a garage and Steve not only remembered me by name but gave me clear information about what would happen next in the process. We've been really happy with the service and unit and will definitely go with SPS in the future should we need additional storage. read more

We have had a unit at SPS for many years and the customer service is excellent! Over the years, we have moved from one storage to another with no problem. The manager, Steve, is very pleasant and watchful of who comes in. We have never had a problem with any of our things in storage. We are now moving out and when I called Steve he was very good about making sure I don't get charged for a whole month by removing my account off the EFT I have set up. So far very helpful; I was somewhat hesitant to pay more than the cheaper competition (albeit with Yelp complaints about rising rates), but the glowing reviews here convinced me. Worries about the extra cost didn't amount to much; the manager suggested a way to arrange our stuff to fit it into a smaller locker. He also said that their rate increases have been less than 5% per eight months, which for Silicon Valley counts as a bargain. The facility itself seems clean and safe; I'll add to the review once we move in or, if I don't, that would suggest that there's nothing to complain about. read more

The managers made me feel really at ease with keeping my belongings here. Security is the MOST secure storage I've ever seen, plus there is a freight elevator to get to the upstairs units AND dollies and carts to take your stuff in fewer trips for use FREE OF CHARGE. I have had to move four times in the past two years. My "downsizing" efforts still left tons of stuff to store. I tried two other companies but Security Public Storage has been great! Here I feel safe, it's extremely clean, and the staff are extremely professional and helpful. It sort of makes me sad to think of the day when I'm gotten rid of all my stuff. This place is great. The weekend I moved into the area I realized that I needed storage. I hit the Googs and checked out a bunch of places, calling for prices, navigating lame and decent websites, looking for deals or coupons, comparing first month specials...exactly what you may be doing right now. In the process, I spoke with Steve at Security Public Storage. Totally friendly, polite, sharp and so easy to talk to. He knew just what I was looking but there wasn't anything available! Steve took it upon himself to track down someone due to vacate the next day and arranged to call me back if things worked out. He phoned me right on time with a great deal at a few bucks less than what he'd quoted the day before. When I went to do the paperwork I was even more impressed. Top notch place. The security system is so good you hardly need a lock. Turns out the place is close to where I live but I'd travel there if it wasn't. read more

We have been very pleased with the high standards that this Security Public Storage Company has displayed. Their management is friendly, professional and very helpful to give you assistance with making your move in or out a pleasant experience. There is a lot of room for large trucks to get in and out. They have a first rate security system with cameras, alarms and high fencing and more. Most units are in a big building. We found their location is also very convenient to major roadways.
