I originally heard about Sedona Taphouse from some of my colleagues because they went often a few years ago for outings. So when it was my turn to pick the date night spot they were my go to after reviewing the menu. Pros: -We were seated and our waitress came to our table immediately -COVID protocols were up to par. All of the staff had masks on, even those I saw in the kitchen -The margarita flight -I enjoyed the bartender bringing out my margarita flight and going through the flavors with me (I also saw him do the same for other patrons for various drinks and think this is such a nice touch) -Our entrees were brought out by 3 different servers! It was so swift and coordinated it made me chuckle but I appreciated not having to wait long for my food -I really enjoyed the taste of my food!!!! (See below for my thoughts on the salad) Cons: -Typically whenever I go to restaurants and order cocktails water is also offered. This wasn't the case and I had to ask for water after we received our entrees -I chose the shrimp tacos as my entree but was disappointed I couldn't have the truffle fries as a side. Our waitress stated plain French fries were available as a side but the truffle fries were only available as an appetizer (so we ordered them and they were brought out with our entrees) -I love caesar salads but I was a little disappointed by theirs. The dressing is homemade but it tasted more like a thousand island than caesar dressing -Aside from the fabric napkin used to wrap the silverware we never received napkins, even after asking I enjoyed the atmosphere at Sedona and would definitely attend again! read more

I have been to a different location (I can't remember which one) but I like decor in this one much better. We ordered the Devil's Pass Dip for an appetizer. It was ok. I ate it all cuz I was hungry but I'd give it a 6/10. I ordered the Blueberry Pomegranate drink that was delicious. Very sweet. And then I ordered the Prickly Pear Margarita. It was very good and I was tipsy after those two drinks. My fiance and friend ordered smoked Old Fashioneds and said they were really good. For our entrees, I ordered the Land + See and I LOVED it. The 8oz steak was cooked to my liking and the crab stuffed shrimp was AMAZING! I substituted the spinach for brussel sprouts (an additional charge) and they were good as well! I wanna go back just for that dish honestly. My fiance ordered the NY steak and he really enjoyed it as well. Our waitress was super nice and took great care of us! I visited this place on my birthday. It's a very nice place but it didn't feel inviting. My wife and I were seated and we ordered the following items: Norwegian Salmon Flat iron Steak w/ Brussels Sprouts Our server was cordial, but a bit distracted. When we needed his services, we had to wait some time for him to come check on us, though it wasn't busy. Regarding the food, it was alright, nothing really jumped out about it. We love Sedona's on Monday's charity night. Wonderful food (especially the salmon), and at a great price. We especially enjoy all the professional servers there. Our newest favorite is Aspen who has our drinks before we even place the order, because she sees us coming. Brittany and Chris have also been wonderful servers in the past, so this shows not only great individuals but management is training them well. Love our Mondays at Sedona. Finally decided to try this place after hearing so many people talk about it. We just barely made happy hour which was definitely worth it between the food and drink deals. It would have been nice to have gotten to indulge in more happy hour deals but our waitress was more focused on other tables. Luckily, they also had a daily special on rose and old fashions so we were still able to enjoy drink deals. The menu had a great variety of food and everything we had was delicious! It's about time I do a review for Sedona Taphouse (midlo)! I am always excited to go here. My main reason is the Prickly Pear Margarita (thanks Octavia for introducing to me!)! I'm not a big Margarita person, but this thing is divine!! It is just perfection, no matter what time of year I have found! Ha Second thing I love is the Devil's Pass pasta. I get it every time I dine. It's creamy and delish with a little kick! My friends have always enjoyed their food as well, and of course our cocktails! I also want to note how friendly the servers have been. I think out of all the times I've been, I've only had one time where we were kind of searching for our server. This location is the one I go to, and I love the atmosphere of the place. It's cute and just a fun time out. All in all, this is one of my favorite spots - and I'll even be celebrating my birthday there this year! Highly recommend if you haven't been! read more

This was my first time at a Sedona Taphouse (I didn't realize it was a chain) but I really liked this specific location! We sat outside so I didn't stay inside much but from what I saw the restaurant had a very lively aura. The service was fast enough. The menu had a variety of different options that all looked appetizing, I ended up getting a chicken dish with goat cheese and tomato jam which was actually very yummy! I just would not suggest getting this specific dish with the goat cheese and tomato jam bruschetta as an appetizer because it was the same exact topping just on bread instead of chicken so I would get one or the other if you wanted to try this topping combination. The side of mashed potatoes were also super smooth and delicious! read more

What a refreshing experience we had at the Westchester Commons mall. We came by after a movie for some burgers and brews. Short wait, less than 15 minutes. We were seated at a corner table by the fireplace which was mellow and cozy. Sedona is typically a loud establishment, so it's worth waiting for a quieter table. There's lots of seating outside, but we had just had a storm so we opted for indoors. Our perky and friendly server, Cat, greeted us with a smile that lit up the room! She highlighted the drink specials, and we took her up on the margarita flight. The guys chose beers, and Cat was extremely knowledgeable and patient assisting my hubby in his brew choice. We also got a margherita flatbread for an appetizer. Margaritas and margherita...do you see a pattern developing here... Our party ordered various dishes: the salmon sliders which my hubby loved, steak and garlic mashed potatoes for the yougin', fish tacos with mango salsa for my friend, baked chicken for another, and burger for me and my sidekick. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals, but I will say the shoestring fries were a bit cold and hard. Cat, checked in on us periodically and we loved her accent. I unintentionally upset a "regular" who sits at the bar at Sedona daily with his wife, who has dementia. I tried to apologize. He left. Afterwards, all of the regulars AND the bartender, came after me in a verbally abusive manner. I got my check and left. Sitting outside one of the people came out of Sedona, that was sitting at the bar SPIT on me! I tried to speak to a manager. He wouldn't listen. I have sought my lawyer's advice and Sedona will be hearing from him. Never have I been so fearful for my safety. Sedona, there will be consequences against the manager and also to your establishment. When I asked to speak to the Sedona manager, he did not allow me the opportunity to tell him what had happened to me. He did not give me his name, however, when I was scared inside the restaurant, I was given Chuck's card. Apparently, I did not speak to Chuck, however, the manager that I asked to speak with did NOT give me his name. Let's be clear...I did NOT block any patron's seat although he threw a temper tantrum. We ordered some apps to go and were. disappointed to see the ahi tuna price went up, but they are cutting the strips in half , so basically the serving size was cut in half. Too many options for this type of grocery store mentality of giving a smaller portion for a bigger cost. Let me clarify. Instead of being approximately 4 inches long they were 2, with an equal number as " strips" as before. CLEARLY a smaller portion. We went to Sedona to celebrate a friends birthday because we knew the food was good and the atmosphere was comfortable. We weren't disappointed. I had the grilled mahi-mahi with chimichuri sauce with a side of grilled asparagus and a salad. It was really delicious and fresh. Others at the table had shrimp and grits, steak, wings and chicken Alfredo pasta. We ate well, we drank well, and we never felt pressured to leave even though we lingered for quite a while. Never, ever will I reserve a specific table here for an event or group again‍. This place is at its "best" when you just-show-up solo or with one or two friends, with no expectations.... I had planned an event 3 months in advance, a particular table, confirmed the reservation multiple times, showed up early and everything still got botched "the day of." So I've now decided to just use this place as one of my casual fallback "happy hour locations" as opposed to a "special outing place" going forward. (The food is consistently good). read more

Fantastic crab cakes (always a winner) with little if any fillers! The menu and beer selection appear to have been trimmed over the past couple of years, but we never have any complaints about the food or service. It gets a bit noisy, especially on weekends and on weekdays after working hours. To the owners: I'm not a fan of the photocopied menus, but if that's what you need to do, at least provide one to each diner. Sharing menus = not cool. read more
