First time here. Had crab stuffed mushrooms. They arrived lukewarm and sent them back. I expected a better quality of food since my sister and brother in law were frequent patrons. My server was Mackenzie. We arrived and waited 10 minutes to be given menus. Ambiance was ok. It was not very noisy. But I was seriously disappointed by the food. I hope the chef has a better day. The replacement dish came back hot. I should not have had to returned food. To the manager at the Midlothian restaurant please do better, otherwise my family will not be returning. read more

There were some definite highs and lows of this meal. The service was quick, server was polite and did a good job. The bread appetizer was amazing. I got the grilled chicken sandwich which was cooked perfectly and tasted great. My husband got the chicken wrap and it was missing a avocado(which the waitress did bring) and it was supposed to be a cheddar jalapeno wrap and it was just plain. These things made the overall flavor bland in his opinion. Would go back as we enjoyed the restaurant but maybe for dinner as the menu appears to have more options. read more

Had dinner with the Mrs., Alex was our server and she did an incredible job! My wife had the crab cakes with sweet potato fries, 2 good size portions with nice sears on the outside and very moist inside. She also loved the sweet potato fries. I had the Clam Chowder, it was spot on Also the Thai Chicken Wings. Nice sweet sticky coating and just the right amount of grilling. The Mango Olive Oli Cake was good. Definitely one of our go to weekend places and the service was always timely! read more

She came to our table with a huge smile ready to make sure our evening was perfect--which she did. She was friendly, personable and respectful of our time and making sure we had the best experience possible. Great gluten free options. As someone with celiac disease it's something I'm very careful about. I had the shrimp appetizer, fish and chips, and creme brûlée and flourless cake desserts. Update - July 4: A Surprising Redemption and a Wonderful Lunch At my husband's request, I gave Sedona Taphouse a second try--and they redeemed themselves (for the most part) with a delightful lunch experience. This time, we were seated in a smaller dining room, which offered a more private, relaxed vibe compared to the bar-like atmosphere we experienced previously. I much preferred it. I ordered the fish tacos and was impressed--they were meaty, fresh, and full of flavor. My husband's burger looked absolutely incredible--even to me, a non-meat eater! We also tried the peach ice cream sandwich, which I had high hopes for. We ordered two but initially received one cut into little pieces, which took away from the experience a bit. Thankfully, when we mentioned it to our server, she quickly brought another that was also cut into pieces. Still, I think an ice cream sandwich is best enjoyed whole, not dissected. I would not order that again. I could barely taste the cookie. A huge shoutout to our server, Kayla, who was absolutely wonderful--attentive, kind, and made the visit that much better. All in all, this visit turned things around. I'm not sure it will be a frequent lunch spot for me, but I do think others will enjoy it. Worth a try. read more

Everyone liked their food orders. Service was a little sketchy. At one point a waitress lifted blinds near us flooding us with early evening light that was blinding. Did not even think that it might be unappreciated. Then, once we were finished with our meal, we had a difficult time getting the check. The waitress disappeared for a while and when she finally popped up she began a social conversation with another table (no ordering) that went on for what seemed like 6 or 7 minutes. Patience exhausted, we tapped her on shoulder to let her know we needed to go. Management should advise servers that convivial small talk is great, but not at the expense of your other tables. read more

All of the personnel were prompt, kind and accommodating. Our dinner and the food were served promptly but the orders were both less desirable. First I had fish and chips and my husband had a salad. The fish was cooked and hot but swimming in oil. The kitchen had not drained it. The chips (french fries were cold). I asked the waitress to bring some more which she did. We also asked that the dressing be on the side of the salad. It was not. The lettuce was swimming in dressing so we sent that back too. The French fries came back fast but by the time I was finished eating, my husband got his salad and ate alone while I waited for him. While he was eating the salad, he found a walnut shell big enough to cause internal damage if he ate it. Because everyone was so nice, we decided not to complain but pay our bill and leave. In conclusion, the service, other than the kitchen, was excellent and the server was professional but I honestly would not recommend it unless you're just going for a drink and don't mind second rate food from a second rate kitchen. read more

We had a dinner to celebrate one of our grandkids. She's 9 and this was her #1 choice. The restaurant is clean. The menu selections were decent for a chain. Service was good. My grand daughter loves one particular pasta dish and it was exactly as she expected. I had a burger and it was fresh and juicy and flavorful. We shared a variety of appetizers and would recommend any of them to anyone who likes chain restaurants. We were pleased to have taken the family to Sedona Taphouse. This particular location is a must stop & Enjoy! Service was very prompt and timely at noon lunch which gave the 3 of us past working buddies a chance to talk and catchup on each others happenings. Monday had chicken, salmon or steak specials + choice of one side at half price so two of us had the steak w/salad each and one had the salmon w/ mashed potatoes. My steak was perfect in every way and salmon I was told was equally well prepared. Plenty of tables to choose from to sit but it's a large restaurant so we could talk freely. What a hidden gem! Whenever we go to Westchester Commons it's mostly for errands, but my husband suggested Sedona for lunch and I am so glad he did. When I arrived we were greeted and seated immediately. I had my three week old with me and they got her a car seat stand. Sarah our waitress was awesome. She got our table waters right away and shared all the specials with us. The menu had a lot to choose from. I got the grapefruit mocktail. It was sweet and tart, but I really liked it. As for lunch, I got the gorgonzola chopped salad and it was to die for! I loved it and will definitely get it again. It was their version of a wedge salad with craisins, walnuts and gorgonzola dressing. I also got the sweet potato fries. They were shoestring and crispy... perfect. They came with an aioli that paired really well. All in all it was a great experience and we will definitely be returning! read more

I have been here many times, but since being vegan, I noticed they only have one vegan option. The bar is great if not a little too busy most of the time. It would be great if they could just give us vegans a couple more meal options (please not burger) on their menu. We don't have much choice in this area and it would be a great business idea. I would visit more often if I was not stuck with a small portion of Primavera Pasta that is not at all filling. New bars opening up are giving us so much more choice on their menu's. read more

Sedona is always a solid choice for a bite to eat. I enjoy the chuckwalla chicken. The service is always very good even when it's very busy and the restaurant ambiance is beautiful and relaxed. Not a good experience. Average food and very poor service. Ordered a Clam Chowder appetizer, Cheese Burger, and Chicken Masala. The Clam Chowder never showed up. The burger offered as pink or no pink, was ordered as no pink and no pickle. It was served totally overcooked with hard crusty edges and sitting on a bed of pickle, which my wife has an allergy to. Our group did a B-Day dinner. It was our first visit and we were not disappointed. I had the grilled chicken which was moist and flavorfu! Sons had the burgers and fries, cooked well and they throughly enjoyed. The steak eaters ordered the flat iron steak. They marveled at the moistness and flavor of the steak. Went here several days ago for an early dinner. I ordered my usual grilled chicken dinner and the server asked if I had any allergies. I specifically stated that I had a shellfish allergy and he acknowledged that he heard me. When I received my order, I noticed a thick substance on top of the grilled chicken. After some investigating, I learned that the substance was some sort of shellfish which was out of the norm for this dish. Not sure if this mishap occurred due to incompetence/ignorance but it took a while for the dish to be remade correctly and even longer to receive the bill at the end of the meal. When the food is made properly here, it's amazing. But service has been questionable from the last few visits to this location. read more

I'm a regular here because of the quality food, drinks and service. It's easy to go to the bar for quality service and Happy Hour specials (especially Monday steak night!) The Bartenders are the best!!! Tommy knows and likes everybody and Hannah is so sweet and hip--and they both have great etiquette and quality service. The manager, Braden is also very professional, funny and congenial. Since I work a few minutes away and live nearby, I recommend Sedona Taphouse over Capital Ale House any day/night! I originally heard about Sedona Taphouse from some of my colleagues because they went often a few years ago for outings. So when it was my turn to pick the date night spot they were my go to after reviewing the menu. Pros: -We were seated and our waitress came to our table immediately -COVID protocols were up to par. All of the staff had masks on, even those I saw in the kitchen -The margarita flight -I enjoyed the bartender bringing out my margarita flight and going through the flavors with me (I also saw him do the same for other patrons for various drinks and think this is such a nice touch) -Our entrees were brought out by 3 different servers! It was so swift and coordinated it made me chuckle but I appreciated not having to wait long for my food -I really enjoyed the taste of my food!!!! (See below for my thoughts on the salad) Cons: -Typically whenever I go to restaurants and order cocktails water is also offered. This wasn't the case and I had to ask for water after we received our entrees -I chose the shrimp tacos as my entree but was disappointed I couldn't have the truffle fries as a side. Our waitress stated plain French fries were available as a side but the truffle fries were only available as an appetizer (so we ordered them and they were brought out with our entrees) -I love caesar salads but I was a little disappointed by theirs. The dressing is homemade but it tasted more like a thousand island than caesar dressing -Aside from the fabric napkin used to wrap the silverware we never received napkins, even after asking I enjoyed the atmosphere at Sedona and would definitely attend again! read more
