I first tried the "fancy" lokum at Lokum in Santa Barbara and have been obsessed with it since, but haven't been able to find any in L.A. So when I saw the case, I had to get some! The gentleman behind the counter was so nice and helpful and described all the different flavors of lokum, and they all sounded yummy, so I got a bit of most of them. I asked if they were made in house and he said there was a place that made them for the shop. He also showed me all the fresh roasted peanuts on the counter and offered me some samples. The lightly salted ones were so good, so I also purchased a small bag of them. They also have a variety of other nuts that I'd like to try in the future, as well as Dubai chocolate - which seems to be popping up at every Mediterranean place I've gone to lately - even restaurants. Once I got home, I tried all the flavors of lokum I purchased and they were all delightful! I'm so glad I stopped by and discovered the goodies at this shop!

I only ordered one, but I feel like I could've eaten 12 more. I'm gluten-free, so I can't speak to how their scones are, but the fudge and toffee are all GF! Marisela will get some this weekend " her words" The other co worker likes the color pink and her scissors are pink. That's great. I just want to get in and out. ! When was the last time you swept or vacuumed your filthy floors. One of your Employees was standing inside looking at me in my car as I was waiting for the store to open. Instead of doing nothing, she could have cleaned the floors while waiting till 10:00 AM. This is NOT a good impression! For the same worker to look sloppy! This location does not have a candy counter where you can make your own custom mix, they only sell pre-packaged gift items. All numbers are available, large ball stars are $30 ($33 if you want to customize the character and colors; allow 1 week for custom orders), and large other shapes including my chosen Wednesday piñata are $40. Other cute options in stock were a cactus, unicorn, dia de los muertes girl, etc. They receive new piñata shipments from Mexico every Friday, and the contents of each shipment are not known in advance, so you'll likely have the most selection on Friday/Saturday. The stick/rope/bandana bundle is $8, and they charge an additional 4% service charge. Service was knowledgeable and helpful.
