Finally got to try out this place after hearing great things for a year. Their menu features a variety of sandwiches, burgers, appetizers, and sides. The staff were kind and prompt and the inside was very clean. Street parking was readily available. I ordered Jess' Mess- a bowl of homemade mac n cheeze topped with buffalo chikun strips, ranch, & green onions. It was a lot of food and I ended up taking some home. It was delicious and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the chikun strips. My friend ordered fries and the gyro which were equally amazing. They have a variety of waters, soda, and kombucha available to order as well. Their store also features many desserts which I have heard are also delightful. I'm not a vegetarian but I do try to eat a mostly vegetarian diet. It's not hard to do with awesome places like Seitan's Realm! I've tried a few of the sandwiches--the Beeef N Chedduh (top it with curly fries for an extra crunch), the Buffalo Chikun, and the Buffy Mac. All we're delicious! I highly recommend you try one of the Chikun sandwiches, the Buffalo Chikun was my favorite. read more

Another surefire hit! If you find yourself in Columbus, OH and in need of good eats, Seitan's Realm hits the spot, no questions asked. Not only is the restaurant decorated with various Horror ephemera but the staff is FRIENDLY and the selection of vegan deli treats are incredible. Nothing replaces a real reuben for me, but i'll be damned if this isn't THE BEST vegan reuben i've had. The Beef and Chedduh Melt (Arby's watch out!!) and the pepperoni rolls were also delicious. I am glad they moved to a brick and mortar location. Totally plant based deli so everything is vegan here. Now that they moved into a shop they have a case and they sell Seitan options, sides, and desserts. My favorite is the beef and cheddar and the loaded fries. I highly recommend those 2 options. The have vintage horror movie memorabilia inside so it is a nice spot to reminisce. They are only open 4 days a week so sometimes it is hard for me to make it there, so hopefully they will extend their hours at some point in the future so I can come for frequently! read more

I am a vegetarian and just recently moved here. So, I'm trying all the veggie-friendly spots. Seitan's Realm has the interior of someone's den, someone who likely listened to Korn and watched Oldboy one too many times. I think it's like a way to show veganism isn't just for sissies. But, I took a picture of the Rick Reuben that I got and showed it to someone. They just couldn't believe it was completely vegan. I myself liked it, but I'd definitely would try something else as the saukraut isn't my most favorite thing in the world. The Thousand Island (obviously vegan edition) dressing was good. And the fries were great. But, would I come back? For sure. The place was packed for a Saturday night, so they must be doing well. read more

I came in town for a family event and stumbled upon this gem. The vibe was laid back but the customer service was next level. Everybody was extremely friendly to me and my family. I can't stress enough how delighted I was by this place!! The atmosphere is killer, the customer service is delightful and passionate, and the food is divine. Easily the best vegan chicken sandwich I've ever had, Saturday I had the best jelly donut I've ever had, vegan or not. They had handmade jalapeño poppers! I've been a vegan for over a decade and I've never seen that before. They even had a pancake sandwich, called a McFibble. Overall 10/10, can't recommend enough. I'll start off by saying, I am not a vegan, or vegetarian, I've been wanting to eat at Seitan's Realm for too long, it has a great name and it's a local business. I could not have been more pleased, I got the Rick Rueben and it was delicious, I've eaten a lot of vegan "meats" and this was the best, everything about this sandwich was delicious. It's was also huge, I ate 1/2 for dinner and 1/2 for lunch today, still yummy! I brought my vegetarian cousin from Chicago and he said he wished there was such a great vegan place back home! We shared the poppers, very fresh, crunchy and delicious, not like frozen mushy pepper ones with cheez wiz crap you get at some restaurants.Seitan's Realm is definitely added to my neighborhood rotation! read more

Holy vegan meat substitute, Batman! This food is a m a z i n g. At first I was intrigued by the name and the concept, but it's the reviews of other Yelpers that convinced me to visit Seitan's Realm. My husband and I are omnivores who enjoy a good plant-forward meal, so we dropped in a few weeks ago and split an order of Jess' Mess and a burger. Two bites in and we were hooked. We liked it so much that when a friend came in from out of town to visit the next weekend, we ordered takeout. This time, I got the Jess' Mess again, my husband got another burger and fries, and my friend got the reuben and fries. Everyone was happy with their meal and continued to be amazed at how much the taste and texture captured the essence of their non-vegan counterparts. It's still messy bar food, but it doesn't make you feel lethargic afterwards. And if you avoid animal products for personal reasons, so much the better. This is a real gem in a lineup of strong local cafes and delis on this part of High Street, and I hope they stick around for a long, long time. read more

Very pricey!! I liked the chili cheese fries and the beef n cheddar. I didn't like a lot of their sauces. The sauce on the gyro tasted like mayo. The Buffalo wings sauce was good but the texture was completely soft with no crunch. The sauce on the bbq wings was no good. The reuben was good. The open face roast beef sandwich with potatoes on toast was ok but was lacking seasoning. Everything was just ok. Nothing was wonderful. read more

We enjoyed Seitan's Realm even though we are not vegan. The atmosphere was interesting and enjoyable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I had the beeef and cheddah and my partner had the Italian. Both were great. The curly fries and mac & cheese are a list of you visit and I highly recommend. This non-vegan will be back soon. It is a little pricey but the portions are large. Deducted one star because of the price (I would rate it as 4.5 if I could). read more

My wife and I are trying all the vegan places around cbus. We have been vegan for several years now. This place is now one of our favorites. The name is a play on the vegan meet popular in Asian countries called seitan. Inside is a Halloween and horror movie type theme. The food was excellent. The sandwiches and the lunch meat we took home were beyond superb. Fries, buffalo wings, and potato salad were some of the best. Large portions and friendly staff. The place is small which meant everytime the front door open it got pretty cold. Parking is tough. A few places out front. Maybe some around back but no clear signage. But definitely worth it. The food really was incredible. If this place had more of a mainstream theme I could see it going bigtime. I love meat but became vegan for the sake of the animals and the environment. If all vegan places tasted this good, nobody would eat meat again. read more

Food is so so. At land grant. Limited choices. Not sure why land grant had them there since it was the only option. The street finder app is lame. Gives an estimate of when food is ready and tells you when it 'should' be ready but nothing definite. Took me 3 tries to get my meal. No napkins or utensils in bag considered it's hard to be dainty with gooey sandwiches. Tighten up, folks. read more
