Kung Fu Tea is my favorite flavored-tea restaurant chain. I don't call it bubble tea because I don't actually like tapioca pearls, I always order my drinks with lychee jelly instead. The reason I like Kung Fu Tea so much is because their tea is better, and their tea flavoring is better. Not sure what type of tea they use, but it does have a little extra something that tastes like a hint of citrus. Also the flavoring of their tea does not taste powdery like some other bubble tea shops. The only negative (though positive for some) in my opinion is that they are generally too heavy-handed with the cream. Favorite items on the menu include the standard milk black tea, lemon green tea, and taro black tea. Something that's a little different that many people also enjoy is the white gourd green tea. read more

This KFT, like the others, is great. It's fast and they make the drink exactly how you order it. Their red mung bean wow milk is good and so is peach oolong tea. You can really taste the peach in that drink and I was surprised to find bits of canned peach in my drink! You can add any of their toppings to almost any of their drinks as well. The number of bubble tea establishments in Flushing right now is borderline insane so I thought the increased competition would result in some amazing product. I was incorrect. To keep things consistent across the board, I get either a black milk bubble tea or taro bubble tea at each place. So far, Ten Ren has the best Taro and Kung Fu fell dismally short here. Just tasted like straight up milk which is not what I want or expect in bubble tea. The tapioca were ok but the overwhelming taste of whole milk was really distracting. I am very picky and particular when it comes to drinking Bubble tea. I do not go else where to drink bubble tea, except at Ten Ren. It has been like that for well over 8 years now? Until....i met Kung Fu Tea... Since ive had good and the worst bubble teas that are out there, i stopped venturing out to find one that was better than Ten Ren. One day, my friends and i decided to try King Fu Tea bc apparently, so many peopl have raved about the place so much, so we did. it was scrumptious. HOWEVER, all the drinks i have tried, which are Kung Fu Bubble tea( Black tea w/ milk and Tapioca), Mango Slush w tapioca, strawberry milk w/ tapioca, taro w/ tapioca, and my favorite, Kung Fu Tea w half Lychee and Half Tapioca, they are ALL too sweet. i Always order as 70%sweet but it is still a bit too sweet... If they would be a little generous on the tapiocas and/ or lychee (bc you do have to pay extra $1 to get half tapioca and half lychee) AND make the drinks to be less sweet, Kung FU Tea would have received my rating of a 5STAR. Nonetheless, Kung FU Tea has definitely kicked Ten Rent off my best bubble tea place! I feel bad that theres hardly anyone at Ten Ren on Main Street, Flushing but Kung Fu Tea is definitely better. i grab their drinks at least 2/week! read more

Very new to the bubble tea world but Kung Fu is the best in my opinion so far. I had the passion fruit punch. It was perfect, no overpowering flavor and not to sweet. The only draw back was the lines. At least 20 ppl ahead of me waiting for their drinks. I can only imagine what the lines will be like when the weather gets warm. They are not very good on customer service but they were working their tails off to get orders out. I have been to ren tea, coco tea Andalusia few others but Kung Fu will get my money every time. read more

I love going to this Kung Fu Tea location! Drinks are always served quickly and consistently taste good. This particular location is shared with other eateries, so during peak times it can become a bit crowded. Drinks are reasonably priced in comparison to other bubble tea places in flushing such as Ten Ren or Quickly. However, what makes Kung Fu Tea different from its competitors are their creamy drinks which can make them a bit sweeter than the typical bubble tea. read more

Authentic is the word! This is the bubble tea spot if you want to truly taste the bubbles and the tea. I highly recommend if you are in the area to stop by and have some bubble tea that hasn't been altered to satisfy Western palates. I'm a huge KFT fan! There would be times when I would have one KFT every day of the week. One Kung Fu bubble tea; extra bubbles and less sugar please! I've been such a loyal customer that I can practically recognized their workers when I spot them walking casually in main street. I even recognized one of them at their Boston branch. teehee. They have just the right amount of froth and cream that makes their KungFu tea soooo delish! Their bubbles have this amazing elasticity and chewiness that I just can't get enough of! The queens crossing plaza is very convenient if you want to sit down with your friends and chat while drinking bubble tea. Though I have to admit that I have been cheating on KFT lately. :( There's only so many KFTs I can drink before I get a little sick of the milkiness. Their menus are so limited compared to the other bubble tea places in Flushing. I NEED MORE CHOICES! I would definitely recommend KFT for non frequent bubble tea enthusiasts. Kungfutea tea is the place to go for bubble tea if you want that authentic tea taste in your drink. Love it! It's fresh and you can tell right when you take the first slip. I've tried their teas hot also during the winter time and it's amazing too! Much better than getting coffee to warm you up in the mornings. read more

A real fan of the Green Tea - I always ask for less honey in it, so the sweetness doesn't distract from the fragance of the tea. Am pleasantly surprised that such high grade tea is used for bubble teas ( which I have to admit, I thought was kitsch for any self-respecting self-proclaimed tea lover, until I got hooked ). Ever since a friend of mine introduced me to KFT years ago, I've been addicted to this place ever since. I even bring friends who also frequent it as often as I go ever since I introduced it to them. My favorite is bubble milk tea. It's so good. The drink and tapioca is sweeter and if you like sweets, this might fall to your liking. It's not too sweet tho. Finally got my taro milk tea without boba and no sugar. It was still sweet but good enough or me. Very milky and yummy. However the only downfall was long line to order and waiting for the my drink took forever !! Maybe 5-10 min. I was so thirsty I drank it really fast since the place is steaming hot from other restaurants. I noticed my bottle have too much ice ! Milk tea were all gone but lots ice left- filled up half of my cup. :( will check out the other Kung fu at flushing next time. read more

I'm a little lactose intolerance, so can only consume organic or lactose free milk. They use lactose free milk which fits my profile and my stomach is always okay with their bubble tea! read more

Kung Fu Tea is a place I must stop by if I am in the area. I can always count on them for great tea and fresh tapioca. One of my favorite drinks is the Green Tea (no milk) with bubbles. Always delicious! Their drinks with milk tend to be a little sweeter than what I like so that's why I just stick to their green tea. read more

I decided to come to Kung Fu Tea when I was in Flushing and craving bubble tea. First off, ordering was..meh. There was this girl next to the person taking my order and I remember her talking about me in Chinese. I'm Chinese too, but I don't like how she assumed I didn't understand the language. Please don't talk about customers in a different language just because you think they don't understand. I ordered a large Kung Fu Black Tea with milk and bubbles. I assumed that they would ask me about the ice level and sugar level, but they didn't. When I tasted it later, I was surprised (not in a good way) about the sweetness. I've had drinks from Kung Fu Tea before but I didn't remember them being that sweet. I kept drinking it but it was hard getting used to the flavor, which is funny because I actually like sweet. Weird. I felt that the tea tasted better when diluted by the melting ice and the bubbles were nice and chewy. I would come back again despite the meh service. read more
