I had to use the mall's digital interactive store directory to locate this Gong Cha. I needed a cool down after a four day heat wave that plagued and gripped New York City which was hotter than California's Death Valley. Customer service is somewhat attentive. Price is very reasonable and align with 2025 inflation era. Peach green tea, medium $6.75 The peach green tea is enjoyable. The only topping embedded is my default choice grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 which is sufficient for abundance quantity. I was exuberant that Gong Cha has my favorite topping grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 which Gong Cha refers to as "herbal jelly." Toppings are $0.75 but for grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 it was well worth the price. Order fulfillment and accuracy is efficient in a timely matter. I'm not sure why it took so long for my order to be made when there was literally no one here. This location is a kiosk at a mall, and when I ordered today, there were two people working here. I ordered from their touch screen thing and I heard the ringing that alerted the employees to the new order. But they both seemed to be on their phones and not really caring about their jobs. While walking around, I spotted two people walking towards, each with a giant boba drink in hand. After about a minute of searching where they emerged from, I stumbled upon Gong Cha. Though they had a vast menu of delicious boba options, I immediately went to the counter and asked for a simple ice coffee. I was asked if I wanted any add-ons and I went with their suggestion of boba bubbles. While punching my straw through the plastic lid, my brain went "Wait.. coffee and boba? What have you done to yourself." After my first sip however, my trepidations quickly vanished and were replaced with sheer joy. If I'm going to drink boba at Queens Center, then it's going to be at Gong Cha. Given all the mediocre bubble tea options in the past, I feel that the mall has really stepped up with Gong Cha, even if it is a chain. Even before COVID ravaged the borough, this spot had lines for days. It's clear that it's also the people's choice. Like most kiosks operating as food / beverage stalls, it's not very big. There isn't a lounge area like the nearby Starbucks or the luxury of many seats like the food court. When they're operating at full speed, they usually have a number of folks behind the counter which in turns keeps things fast and efficient. Overall, the drinks are good. The key is to really hone in on their seasonal "series" which range from fruity to fall flavors like strawberry, coconut, coffee, etc. While I have always liked their oolong / green tea anything, I think they've done a good job with their foams, which in boba land is not easy to master. Milk tea lovers will enjoy their options; I'm a sucker for their brown sugar *ginger* milk tea. While I can't say I love any of their yogurt based drinks, I understand it's still extremely popular amongst their fans. Prices are pretty standard; expect to pay somewhere between $4-5.50 for most of their drinks. They only offer medium or large and they're good about limiting sugar / ice upon request. read more

Personally, I have had great experiences with going to Gong Cha. However, I'm never going back to this specific location. Have you ever had to pay for someone else's mistake? As in you pay for a large and when you receive a small, you're told you would have to buy a new drink to get what you originally ordered. Well that was my experience. It's alright to make mistakes, but it's another thing to only correct it when paid extra and not giving back at least part of the original cost for giving a smaller size than what was paid for. read more

The guy said there were no restrooms in this mall and I asked a security guy and he directed me upstairs. People ordered drinks and he was so dry with the interaction and when the drinks were made he put them as far away from them on the counter they had to go out of their way for them. Its located within Queens Center Mall, right across Cellairis Phone Repair Shop, we mostly like to take the tea and shop around however if your in the mood to sit down, there are some comfy sofa's nearby next to Starbucks which you can utilize. I would recommend the following, if you have not tried it I feel you would truly enjoy it. Always a joy to have bubble tea when I'm back in city and Gong Cha is no exception. The downside is that 3J (tapioca, herbal jelly and pudding - I believe) only comes with the regular pearl milk tea, otherwise it counts as 50 cents per topping for an extra $1.50 for just toppings. Also, the bubble tea is best when it's still fresh, it's probably not be best if you keep it around and drink it for too long. The drinks here are made with very fragrant teas, you can taste it regardless of what drink you order.. very good! Pros: They don't skimp on the bubbles! You get a lot with each sip of your drink! There's a stamp card available and there's also a "Special Drink of the Day"....their version of happy hour! Cons: They charge a bit more for certain 'premium' toppings (like 'milk foam'). Also, only certain drinks are made with fresh milk, the rest are made with powdered milk so beware those that are lactose intolerant! I would recommend the 'lychee oolong tea' and 'oolong milk tea'. Oolong tea is black tea with citrus notes to it and it's a great change from the typical green & black milk teas that are more often offered at bubble tea establishments.
