Came here the other night, I had to make a yelp account just to rate this place. Absolutely amazing. I got a house salad, croutons were great, lettuce was crunchy, fresh, and juicy, and the herbs and cheese on top really perfected it. The small was big enough as a large appetizer. As my main course, I got a calzone as my main course, it was delicious. I got one with just cheese, pepperoni, and Canadian bacon (cause I'm picky, haha) and it was just amazing. Lots of meat, and good bread. As for service, even though it was quite crowded, food came pretty fast! During the short waiting time, it's fun to look around at the drawings posted on the walls, you can tell the people who come really love this place. Visited Pullman with my daughter and we decided to try the local pizza. I am so glad we ordered from Sella's! I got a chicken and Canadian bacon pizza for my daughter, and snuck a slice, it was delicious! For myself, I tried the calzone with pepperoni, Canadian bacon and sausage with spinach, and it too was incredibly tasty, and filling, I could only eat half of it! In town visiting for a football game. Was staying at the Courtyard by Marriott and wanted pizza delivered. There were several more who had more ratings than Sella's but we liked the reviews that were out there and so decided to give it a try. So glad we did! The calzones are amazing. My husband ordered a pepperoni and sausage calzone and I had a meatball with lots of veggies. Common to many calzone places, the bottom can easily become soggy. That wasn't the case here. I could still pick mine up and eat it without the ingredients flopping everywhere. However, their were a few spots where it was still dough. The ingredients all tasted incredibly fresh and the cheeses were melty and gooey - the way it should be! My teen boys had a cheese pizza, Italian sandwich, and garlic cheese bread. I am happy to report they, too, were very satisfied with their order. I think it would be nice if they included marinara with the calzones. read more

So they don't pick up the phone ..... so, we had to drive down there and put in out order. Was pretty expensive but, also could have split the calazones because they were huge! They stuff them and put a lot of your ingredients in them. Just didn't like that we had to go ... versus calling on the phone and picking up the order when it's ready. read more

The sauce is good and the cheese is plentiful and sharper than just mozzarella (has plentiful Parmesan, maybe Asiago or Romano too). Love the pizza here. A small one is big enough for three. They are so kind and inviting as well.

They are pretty good, but a little pricey. It is the only place to get a calzone in town. The best part about them though is the cheesy bread! I would totally just order cheesy bread to go. My only compliant is that it is a little hard to order to go as they sometimes don't answer the phone. These calzones are HUGE! I've actually never had a calzone before but I feel like this is bigger than an average calzone?! You definitely get what you pay for! It's delicious, perfectly cheesy, and the bread is amazing. I made my own and my mom got the coug! We both loved it. Very family friendly restaurant. I like how it's quick (on most of the days) because I know this place can get pretty crowded in the evening and at night. The artwork on the wall gives the place a great touch and personality, it makes Sellas more welcoming...especially to first timers. They also provide paper and crayons for customers to draw on with the possibility of their drawing being displayed on the wall along with the other drawings. Also, it's very close to campus, great for students who stay in the dorms nearby. I have a friend who used to work here with the original owners when they were both going to WSU back then. It's great to know how this started as a family owned restaurant by two brothers and hearing how much it bloomed over the years. read more

I actually like the food and used to enjoy going there. Had a incident tonight that left me baffled. I order a house salad and they tell me no "we shut down our salad bar". We get our food and several others come in ordering salad, they get it. My wife confronts the lady about it and she didn't say a word just looked on stunned. I wonder if this would have turned out different if my family was not of color...the others that came in after appeared not to be of color. If your the owner or manager don't bother replying you were there and lost my business, I will share my story with others. Was this the best calzone I've ever had? No, but that should be no surprise since we're talking about a food place in Pullman. That being said I would definitely return. The calzones are a bit on the pricey side but they're also huge so you get your money's worth. My only complaint would be that my calzone was lukewarm. I had the Hawaiian which was good, but wow they pack a lot of cheese in there! The staff was really friendly and the service quick. I enjoy having crayons and paper at the table to draw while you wait. Someone else at my table had a bread twist which was fantastic. Nice location close to campus. Next time I'll come for lunch. Seems like a better deal to get a smaller calzone with a side salad for a meal. read more

That was the best pizza I've had in a long time! I just moved to the area and was looking for a quick delivery. They use delivery.com

It had been quite a while since I visited, so I thought maybe it was time to try once more. I chose....poorly. Quality has not improved. I think the calzones have gotten smaller still. They're hiding that fact by now using smaller plates too. Not only have they reduced the quantity, but like I said previously, the ingredients are pretty bland, including the rubber mushrooms (clearly from a can). Still worse, my filling was mostly cheese and sauce, without much pepperoni, mushroom, or anything else. The crust was overdone, the bottom was burnt, but the inside was doughy and lukewarm. Now that I know nothing has improved in the last couple years, I'm not really sure I see much reason to try again. read more

The pizza: not very well made. But I'm admittedly a thin crust person. What I had here was super bready with not much sauce. The breadsticks: people seem to like these. I'm not very impressed with the taste (bland) but they are large. The salad: a mound of iceberg with cheese and croutons. It's not special or even good but for some reason I like it. The atmosphere: not well lit and greasy. But you can color with the provided crayons and "place mats" which is fun. It does alright in Pullman. In any other town it'd probably be out of business. Mmmm! Oh how I love this place. There has yet to be a time that I haven't had a good calzone. My favorite thus far is "The Coug." Cant go wrong with loads of cheese, pepperoni, onions, and black olives. Bread twists are also high up on my list. The atmosphere is pretty typical with tvs to watch and cafateria style seating so it can get pretty loud. There is also outdoor seating when and if it's actually nice in Pullman. The only unusual thing is the wall art. People can draw themed Sella place mats that can be hung. People sure are creative! Parking is a nightmare for this place. The restaurant is basically on a cliffside so parts of the parking lot make it seem like you're about to plunge to your death. It can also get really crowded so be prepared for a long wait time when you order something more than just a salad and bread twist! read more

Sella's is a truly unique place in a small town full of unique places. What sets it apart is the fact it's basically the only non-chain pizza joint in either Moscow or Pullman, and the wall art. Countless placemats have been colored supurbly by, I assume, WSU art students. Some of them I'd love to take home and put on my own wall. The place takes a nosedive when it comes to its supposedly superb calzone. I do really enjoy the bread twists, the bread on the calzone, and it's perfect size to just fill you up without making you want to throw up. But the fillings just aren't very good. The cheese is, indeed, watery for some reason. I'm not sure if that's actually just oil from sauteing the ingredients or just really cheap cheese. Either way, unless you've never been to a pizza joint outside of the Palouse, there's no way this should be the best calzone ever. I think Molly hit this one on the head. I wish I could have tried it before budget restraints made them smaller with crappy ingredients. read more

We found out that this place is a WSU establishment, it was the very first place that we ate at when we moved to Pullman last summer. The pizza and calzones are pretty good, the salads are huge which I like. The best parts of Sella's are the awesome view and the great atmosphere, lots of school spirit and it's right down the street from WSU campus. read more
