Car salesmen were making me feel very uncomfortable, I felt pressured the WHOLE time, I left and went back with my dad so I could feel comfortable. I only purchased a vehicle because I had just got in a accident so I NEEDED a car because I was moving the next day, they didn't detail my car before leaving because the guy that does that wasn't there. Drove off the lot with the biggest smile on my face. I originally went in to get a car wash on my fiances car. Was just looking around and was helped by a friendly salesmen, Jesus. I wasn't really wanting to buy a car since I just bought one. But the thing was, I hated the car I previously bought from another dealer. While looking around I test drove a Honda fit. I really liked it. After some talking I decided to run the numbers. Unfortunately, they couldn't get me into a used car, BUT, they were able to get me approved for a new car!!!. The problem was I had negative equity. So getting a used car was going to be a tough one. Not only that, I already had another car loan and not the best credit. After test driving the new fit sport, I could not stop smiling. I absolutely love my new car. The best part,the payment wasn't much more than my old payment, and now I got a car I love through the bank I wanted. With my old car, I didn't even want to look or think about it, but now, I can't stop starring at it. I have bought 3 vehicles in the past four years and decided to buy a new used vehicle from this dealer. I have bought from carmax in the past and any problems I had were taken care of promptly. Along with my vehicle I purchased a bumper to bumper warranty that turned out to be anything but that. I have take the car back to have problems resolved that were with the when I purchased it. The dealership wants me to cover the charges that would accrue from the repairs that I presumed would be covered in my "bumper to bumper" warrantee. This is the first and last time I will ever do business with Selma Honda. read more

Bought my car brand new here a year ago, came for my first service, and had a negative experience. I paid for a 3 year full syn oil change only to find out, they put semi syn into the car. Their response was my car doesn't need it, so you mean to tell me I paid 500 extra for oil changes and not get the full syn oil? Second I had to take my car in for a recall, I had to take time off and even had to put in a "special request chit" because it's hard for me to do any services with being stationed in Nas Lemoore. About the recall, they never even touched the car, I have proof and pictures and will take it to corporate. I spent a whole day of my time to come way out here for them not even to touch my car. To make matters worse they have a very unprofessional girl working at the customer service desk, I waited 15 minutes for her to look for my car keys. Why did it take so long? Because she profiled me thinking I had a 1992 civic. You idiot I have a 2015. read more

My 2012 civic was worked on for a TSB warped heater box. They told me my car will be with them for about a day in a half( dropped off on Friday ) which turned out to be 3 days ( total of 3 of there working days) 1st off I should've been offered a rental vehicle for the repairs, 2nd I find out on Monday that they ordered the wrong part for my vehicle. I called asking for a rental for inconvenience and was told I could only have it for 24hrs and return it at 1715 I didn't take it cause there was no time frame on when my car will be done and them only giving me a rental for a day???? I then get a call back at the end of the day saying "oh how come you didn't come in earlier for a rental? Well I can get you one at no cost until the repairs are done". Really? After I ask you the first time? I took it. Picked up my vehicle On a Thursday service advisor said everything is good to go, got in my car and noticed my shifter boot was not even installed so I put it on my self didn't have time to complain was in a hurry to get to work, I then went to put my seat belt on and the damn thing wasn't even bolted to the car!!!!! I got off and told them I can't drive without my seat belt. The mechanic put it on there on the spot. Later that day after work around midnight I get in my car and my tpms light came on. One of my tires was low at 29psi tires are good no punctures or anything wrong with my tires ........hmmm says they serviced all 4 tires to factory specs of 32psi......never taking my car back there again! read more

I'm a big fan of Honda products. I recently took my 2006 Accord to Selma Honda for a recall on the airbag. I received the recall notice in the mail . Called and gave them my info and was told I would be contacted in a few weeks as soon as the part was in. And yes, I was called . Scheduled an appointment and was in and out in less than hour. Angel , Service Advisor, is cool to deal with. Excellent Customer Service Skills. The place is professional and prompt. Much unlike the dealership in Visalia that gave me the run around for several months before. Consequently, I've told all my friends that own Hondas to drive to Selma for the same great service I received. Even, if it means driving 30 min. to Selma. The next time I buy a Honda, I will definitely go to Selma Honda for Cars and Service. read more

Amazing costumer service! I had made an appointment for 1:30 this afternoon for an oil change with tire rotation. When I arrived for the appointment I soon realized there were 3 people in front of me in line. I patiently waited for 10-15 minutes when I was finally greeted by Andy. I was blown away by his professional approach. He apologized for my wait time and assured me I would have my car back within 45-50 minutes. Well my oil change only took 35 minutes. At this time Andy also informed me that my tires did not require rotation due to them wearing evening. I could not thank him enough for being honest. This type of honesty is rare in the automotive service industry, where everyone is out to make a quick buck. I think I've found my new go to Honda dealership in the valley for my future service needs. Oh by the way, the waiting area is great! Plenty of seating, tea, coffee machine, etc. I encourage all the Honda owners out there to give Selma Honda a chance to earn your business. Looking for a 2015-16 used Toyota van. Selma Honda had one that was in "like new" condition w/ 30k miles. It felt new and it drove great. They showed a "Car Fax" that stated the car had never been in an accident. These reports are only as good as the dealer or repair shop is to share the details a repair. Within 10k miles the front end started to rattle as we hit ups and downs in the road. I was curious what that was. I took it to a shop he showed me how the car was in an accident including the paint problems down the driver's side of the van, it was most likely run into, maybe a side railing or sideswiped by another car or object. The front end was slightly damaged and the alignment is only going to get worse. The paint was chipping under the driver door exposing the original paint. The paint was not professionally taped off leaving all the black rubber covered with the same color as the paint. An indicator I should have noticed. After being educated as to what it should look like I was pissed off. We are planning to sue the dealer for these damages and for flat out lying about the car using CarFax as a tool to manipulate the deal. We ordered our own carfax and the found the owner history and how this vehicle was a rental unit before we purchased. The dealer did disclose the fact that it was a rental car, they choose to use carfax as a selling tool and mask over the "lie." The fact that $3,000 in damages had already happened to the van. My wifes birthday is coming up in a month. I spoke to Jonathan Davenport about the car that I wanted to get her. He said give me model and will start looking for it. I wanted a white or silver Pilot Elite AWD or a tourning AWD and he immediately said"wow those are very hard to come across but i will try my best to find one for you. This conversation happened on Friday on Sunday I emailed him to give him all the details about the car. On monday he emails me back "I got one for you". I was in shock. I called him and asked him which model he said the Touring model, I said i will take it. Because of work I could not make it there until thursday. When I got there Jon comes up to me and says you are not going to believe it, we got a trade this morning and we have a white Pilot Elite AWD, now you just have to choose and by the way you are one of the few men at a honda dealer that can stand in front of these two models and pick one of them. Needless to say I was very excited. Obviously I picked the Elite because of all the amazing features, Jon had me sit and talk to Jeffrey Himes and he was great he knew everything about the PIlot and its features. He took care of all my paperwork and that was fast and easy. Over all the team at this dealer is amazing and take the time to care for their customers. Their customer service is hands down the best I've ever had anywhere! It's our cars broke down and we needed an emergency vehicle. I went on their website and I saw a Honda Civic that I was interested in. Had low miles for being a 2012 I think... anyways the next morning I get a call from the manager Alvaro and he asked if I was still interested. I said yes however I didn't have a ride to Selma, nor did I have a down payment. He reassured me that that would do everything they could to help me. The manager himself came to Fresno to pick us up and on the ride we talked cars, budget, and what we were interested in which took a lot of pressure off from feeling awkward staring at each other in an office setting. As soon as we get there we checked out cars and my significant other and I noticed a 2017 Hyundai that was roomier and still within our budget since we didn't have a down payment. Once the financial stuff came it seemed like we were going to have a high payment but they worked long and hard to get us something we could afford. We drove off in a new car and we couldn't be happier! A week or so later the manager still checked up on us to see how we were liking the car. Selma Honda appears to have too many customers! Here is why I think that; My wife's Honda Accord was purchased, and has been serviced exclusively by them for 13 years. Recently, the brake and Traction Control System lights both came on, so I called the service department to inquire why this might occur. Although I called 3-4 times during the day, I never got a return call. Gee, I guess my 13 years of business does not count! I finally called the service Manager, Richard Nue, to complain. I was bad, because I was PO'd over not having been called back. Rather than simply saying, "Sir, I am sorry you were neglected. We value our long-term customers. Can I call you back in 5-10 minutes while I look into what happened?", he started to tell me all the reasons why his service advisors would not have been able to solve my problem over the phone. Well, I was NOT expecting a solution over the phone! All I wanted was a return call to tell me if my service record showed them replacing the brake pads or not. I was also hoping to get them to inspect the car ASAP. My bad attitude did not help the conversation, but I think I would not have pushed it so hard had the Service Manager initially taken a different approach. BTW, if you like to argue, call this fellow!! That is MY side of story! Remember that there are always two! read more
