I worked with their event coordinator (Nikki) to plan a lunch for a large group of people. She was extremely informative, accommodating, and easy to work with! We communicated via phone and text which was really convenient. We had about 30 people for our lunch on a Saturday and when we got there, the tables were already cleared and set up for us. Came here on a weekend night and was seated promptly and serviced quickly. Wholly enjoyed the steak salad. It was tasty and filling. The nachos were yum, though the tortilla chips are the greasier kind (homemade? I prefer the restaurant kind that's dryer). Buffalo wings were decent as well. This is your place to go for taco Tuesday. They have great prices on tacos and beer. One of the best is their Kobe beef hardshell taco. Just a normal hard shell with beef, cheese, and lettuce, but the beef is amazing in this taco and you can even get the same that's queso wrapped, which is even better. They also have Carnitas soft taco (3) with chips and salsa on the regular menu that you can order on taco Tuesday. The Carnitas are bomb. The specials on Tuesday I believe start at 3 o'clock. Major disappointment!!! I was so excited to go to Sena's happy hour with my friends. I looked at their happy hour menu and picked out all the wonderful things I wanted to try. But when we got to the restaurant the waitress said bc it was Tuesday the Happy Hour menu would not apply. I was so disappointed because the happy hour menu is the main reason I want to try this restaurant for the first time. I asked the waitress if she would honor the happy hour menu and she gave me a strong no. Their website clearly says the happy hour menu is DAILY from 4-7 pm. The Taco Tuesday menu doesn't indicate that the happy hour menu isn't validate either. (I have included screenshots) I ended up ordering some nacho fries and they were basic...nothing delicious or special about them at all. Maybe this doesn't seem like a big deal...but it is. It is about honoring what you say you will provide to customers. This lack of fair communication and customer service is unacceptable. Lets start with service. It was a bit slow due to it being pretty busy, not sure if they weren't prepared for the amount of people. I love the patio in the back here. It's a nice surprise when entering the restaurant. This orientation of this restaurant is a bit odd, but it works! Upon entry, you'll see the front patio, the hostess area, and the bar. It kind of looks like it stops there, but you'll be surprised as there is a narrow pathway that leads you to a few high top tables, the restroom, and then voila...the beautiful outdoor patio area on the backside of the restaurant! I had a meeting here and had about a half hour to kill before the person I was meeting with was going to come, so I popped open my laptop and went straight to work. They have wi-fi here and it's pretty strong - YAAS! Once I was ready to order, I went for the Kobe burger and potato salad. The burger was absolutely delicious! The buns with the medium cooked burger were perfect. At first Sena doesn't look to appealing from the outside and it has a rather odd layout but the service and the food make this place exceptional! When you first enter Sena there's a small area with high tables and a bar which doesn't look like much, but upon walking down a narrow hallway you're greeted by a charming lit up patio in the back. Now the food: they're steakhouse tacos are so GOOD! Seriously some of the best steaks tacos I've ever had. Shrimp tempura tacos, chips and guacamole and nachos are also good but the star of this review is the white sangria!! My friend and I always opt for the pitcher because we can't get enough of this stuff! Its made fresh and mixed personally by the bartender and sometimes they mix up the fruit so it's always a little different each time but always consistently good! Highly recommend. Usually the servers and waiters/waitresses are really nice too. The only thing I've noticed is that they seem to be short staffed even pre covid so it's easy to see the stress level of some of the employees. Hope they're management treats them well! I got the charge alert from my bank and I'm hoping that they fix it because I confronted them and they apologized and she accidentally charged someone else plate onto our table when she closed us out even though the first bill said $48.
