Oh Patty,Patty, Patty! Seniores has been our favorite pizza spot since forever! However, last night was when it all changed *dramatic music*. I've worked as a waitress so I always try to be as sympathetic as possible but I have never felt so disrespected until my conversation with Patty. First off, we ordered a pizza for delivery (like always) and after having to wait an hour, we decided to call in to check on our order. When we called, Patty answers very rudely and continued to tell us that we ordered for pick-up (wait whaaat?). We told her that was wrong and she responds with "well why didn't you give us a call back?" (Hmmm I don't know, because that's not my job) While we tried to workout the miscommunication, words like "You're being ghetto" were exchanged. And to get to the important part, our pizza finally arrived (2 hrs later) cold, stale and tastes days old. That night my little sister and friend had the runs (diarrhea). I've never had a yelp before but I thought it was completely necessary to make one after last night stellar customer service. However, I used this coupon that I got from the app store called Good Life Coupons to get the pizza for cheaper and trust me, paying less didn't make the pizza taste any less, in fact it actually tasted better to me knowing that I had saved a couple of bucks on pizza. Just had a terrible experience with the delivery service. We ordered about $60 worth of pizza, told them we'd pay with cash. When the delivery got here they didn't have change and wanted to take our cash and said they'd come back with our change. We said no. They donated 6 separate delectable one topping pizzas (cheese, buffalo chicken, sausage, pepperoni, mushroom, and bell pepper) for SpoonFest this year that was hosted by Spoon University. The pizzas ran out by the end of the food festival, which just goes to show how good they are! So, I work the night shift and wasn't able to pick up anything on the way to work. Found them on yelp so decided to give them a try. I didn't want pizza so I decided to go with the fried chicken and salad. I should have known chicken at a pizza place was a bad idea. The chicken tasted slightly burnt, it was old, and dried out. Like they cooked it earlier and it had been sitting. I was thoroughly disappointed! The only thing that the redeemed my meal is the salad was fresh, they added mozzarella at no extra charge, and it came with some home made ranch that was actually pretty good. I'm writing this review as a warning. If you are ordering through EAT24 and don't notice the tip selection at the bottom of the address page YOU WILL NOT TIP YOUR DRIVER. I paid with card and didn't see this and I'm hoping this will make up for it. Ordered delivery for NYE and they came sooner than predicted. We ordered a white sauce pizza with chicken and pesto that was delicious and some mozzarella sticks that satisfied that mozzarella craving perfectly. The only thing good about the place is that it's open late and it delivers. My first experience was mediocre- we ordered a half mushroom and half pepperoni pizza and received a whole mushroom pizza with a 3-4 pepperonis on it. However, the service was decent and delivery was on time. My second experience was terrible- the "manager," Yusef (?) told me that they do not deliver for orders under $15, BUT I had ordered a few days ago a small pizza that cost ~$9 for delivery with no problem at all. This policy is not only inconsistent, but not posted online and basically depends on how the people working feel that day about doing deliveries or not. Yusef also asked me to repeat my order at least 3 times, asking whether I said small or large (since they sound really similar...). Finally, when we got our pizza and fries, the cheese seemed old and the fries needed more salt. My suggestion is to visit/ order from Tivoli's Caffe a street down (which is family-owned). read more

Ok I love pizza. So I got a slice of cheese for $2.80 freshly made. The slice came out hot melty gooey cheese. But unfortunately I was really not impressed. With so many other great pizza locations less than a block away it made me wonder if these guys did their homework. WOW! Ordered this at 12am off Grubhub. After waiting a lifetime (45min) I heard a knock on my door and there it was....a Californian Chicken Pizza with a ray of light beaming down on it. Skeptical (considering it was a late night order) I opened the box and was immediately impressed by the presentation. Each piece of chicken was placed with care, and each bite had the perfect ratio of ingredients. Now the flavor...out of this world. I ordered the garlic bread (no cheese) yesterday for a snack and I liked it. You get half of a French baguette (the ones you see at Safeway) with lots of herbs and garlic. The delivery was on time. It was all downhill after that. It was "free delivery" but there was a $3.00 "tender fee" added. I was told that the "large" was 14in, it actually was 11.5. And skimpy toppings made it even smaller. Tiny shreds of artichoke hearts and mushrooms. The food was not overly salty, which was good, but can somebody please tell the cook that Italian food has to have oregano and garlic in it? And the salads. Wilted pale greens, no romaine. I already think tipping is a flawed system, especially in California where minimum wage is guaranteed (not to mention very high in this area), but to straight up ask for extra money is beyond ballsy and heading into rude. Yum! I ordered Seniore's for delivery tonight and it was really good! I've been getting a lot of disappointing takeout lately so maybe that is why I was so impressed by this. This is one of the best pizzas I have had in a while. I got the small "Build it Yourself". They were out of clams so they called me ASAP and I substituted sausage. Fresh crust--right between crunchy and chewy--lots of cheese, good toppings. I got the side salad, just the basic green, not a lot of veg, was plentiful and the vegetables were very fresh and crispy. Delivery time was about an hour and change, so one less star for that (what do you expect on a Saturday night?) and the lack of clams, but my pizza was delicious, and a small size is big enough to leave some leftovers for tomorrow, too. Glad to see they are open later than usual so I'll definitely order again. read more
