Don't come here. Go to the other Rancho location on Vineyard. Their fish tacos here are so small and their employees are super rude. I asked the girl for extra Salsa, but I had already paid and she said "you have to pay for extra salsa 50 cents per salsa. I said ok can you run my card? She got super snobby about it and said here just take it and hands me 1. I also had asked her before I paid if she could charge me for extra chilies (the yellow ones) and come to find out that she wasn't even going to put them in there cause she only put 1 in the box when I asked for extra ones. I guess they were being made but had no intention on waiting till they were done when i had asked for extra is when she waited and only put 1 in there. When I went to the other Rancho location they were extremely nice and had no problem giving extra salsa. I offered to pay for them since the girl here said it was a 50cent charge, but they were super generous and said no. I was excited to find this place near my new office, because I have been to some of their other locations. The Carne Asada Taco was good, but very small for $2.49, it was TJ size that I am used to paying $0.99 for. The Shrimp Ceviche Tostada was also a bit of a letdown at $4.99 for one single tostada, and the shrimp was precooked frozen shrimp with no flavor. Surprisingly the delightful salsa bar I had experienced at their other locations was none existent, just some raw sliced onions and radish, that's it. Feeling bummed and let down. The reason for the two stars is because of the horrible customer service. There is 3 employees and we were standing waiting to order for a good 5 minutes and keep in mind there is no one else in here but us and a family that was waiting on their food. There is no sign anywhere with their schedules of opening and closing so before I checked yelp we had no idea what time they closed. We arrived at 8:45 and when the girl finally came to take our order she just said only to go okay... she gave us no options or took a second to let us know we close at 9 so she practically kicked us out. I've always ordered a Shrimp cocktail and they where the BEST! Now not so good! They changed the shrimp and they don't clean it. I would drive from Riverside to buy one at least once a week. I live border to Rancho, in Fontana about 7 mins from there. I usually eat my fish tacos there but since I don't live far and it smelled fishy I decided to take home. OMG! When we opened the containers, they looked good, BUT as I started to eat I noticed they were soggy - not because it was to go but because they were drenched in oil. I was so disappointed, gave the fish a little squeeze and out came oil, lots of oil. The lady that makes the tacos clearly doesn't have experience deep frying. Pissed me off! I've been going to this restaurant for a while now and each time we've ordered through the drive through they always get the order wrong and forget the requested condiments. We have to always check our order at the drive through before we leave. This time was not an exemption. Even though I had asked for their fried yellow chili's twice and extra white sauce which I was told we had to pay for, we checked our bag and the white sauce was not in the bag so we had to wait for it after requesting before we left. Well we get home and the yellow peppers are no where to be found. So disappointed!! Why don't they check the order before they hand it to the customers. I love eating at Señor Baja. Their fish and shrimp tacos are the best. But today my experience going there was beyond disappointing. I order two carne asada burritos and I wanted cheese, I was told is extra for it. This small size burrito came up to almost $10 each. Okay I got over it and ordered chips. She said to me that for a large order will be $7.99. I have ordered chips there before and only paid $2.99. The lady said to me, it was not the price I was supposed to be charged. Besides all the mess and time that took ordering, it took forever to make my order. I am hoping the owner of this place reads my review and starts not only being the invisible owner but starts managing his business better and be there to make sure that every time prices remain the same for all the customers. Im only leaving 2 stars just because the food was good and the lady that made my tacos tried to make things right. If not it would be one star. The rude little girl with red hair working the drive thru and front shouldn't be working customer service with that attitude. Mahi mahi chipotle tacos left little to be desired. The fish taste like tuna too me and was dry and over cooked. The chipotle sauce was meh but the regular fried fish taco was pretty tasty. My mom got the shrimp tacos and she was unimpressed. The rice and beans were pretty good as well so they get 3 stars. Me and my boyfriend went to Senor Baja when traveling home to Vegas, since it was located right by the freeway. We ordered the chicken burrito and I had the grilled shrimp regular taco, and chipotle tacos. The chipotle Taco tasted alright. But there is literally one piece of shrimp on the taco, but into three pieces. So when you order a shrimp taco, that's exactly what you get. One shrimp taco. When I went to eat the grilled regular taco, the shrimp was not grilled at all, and once again it was one shrimp cut up into several pieces, but the only thing connecting the pieces were the veins and intestines. I did not eat this taco. My boyfriends burrito was alright, but it's strange they do not have hand salsa options and he only ate about half of it. Chicken inside the burrito was not anything to write home about. The place was clean, with the exception of the women's bathroom. Which looked to be clean but for some reason had 4 flies flying around inside. There was also no paper towels so we had to use napkins. And if it's 107 outside, it is also 107 degrees inside. There is either no working ac, or because no one wanted to eat there, they can't afford to Put it on. Stay away!!! read more

One star for each of my fish tacos in the combo. $7.99 for all three. Not bad. I would pay more for them because they are THAT good. I must be glutton for these tacos because no matter how many times I complain, I inevitably find myself in the throes of an order so intense and reeking of EXTRA EXTRA salsa and yellow toasted chilis. Each time I pleasantly offer to pay extra for three more of the yellow chilis. It already comes with three. The minute I do, I can sense the conversation going South. It's like they get mad. Like they walked three miles in the snow to get them. Whatever. I get to the window and deal with the worst customer service (again) but it's okay because I'm getting fish tacos (doing the fatty dance in my mind and waiting patiently). And then it happens (again). There is no exchange of pleasantries. It is simply a transaction to the person at the window. They hand me my bag. I go in for the double check before you go home tactic and sure enough there are less chilis then I paid for! I bring it the attention of the soulless drive through attendee and they walk away and come back with more than I ordered and paid for! SCORE! that's probably why I come back, but that's not the point! Imagine how booming their business would be if they taught employees to smile?
