Wayne styled my hair, and I can honestly say it's the best haircut I've ever had. One month later, and my hair still looks awesome even styled by me. I got a drastic cut: my hair was 3 inches past mid back and I cut it to about shoulder length. My haircut took about 3 hours but I have very thick long hair. (The assistant sweeping hair kept muttering "Dios mio!" to the amount of hair I had.) The long haircut was worth the time! The cut looks just as good and light one month later, which is amazing! I highly recommend getting your hair cut here. Wayne Ng is a miracle worker. My sister had recently got her hair colored by Wayne, and you cannot tell it's not her natural hair. I would recommend this salon to anyone and everyone for the hair cut alone. The ambience is so relaxing and clean. Worth every penny and every minute I was in the salon.

Jackson Heights!!!! Yes folks! Better yet, she told me her prices and I simply couldn't believe it! I've never had a haircut cost less than about $65 (not including blow dry, style and tip). And this lady was charging $28 (wash, blow dry and style)! I immediately took down the information from my friend and called the stylist (Maritza) the next morning and was able to get an appointment for me and one of my friends that same morning within an hour. The place is definitely a small mom and pop store whole in the wall in Jackson heights that I would otherwise probably never step into, so it's definitely an easy miss unless your referred by someone. After arriving she asked us what we wanted, we showed her pix and got started! Long story short...she's She is super nice and skilled at layering and creating volume. I still can't believe I got all this for $28! However, after a while I noticed that my layers were disconnected. Yes, it's a great deal, but I guess we do get what we pay for. When I entered I was greeted by the friendly staff . You could do your nails, eyebrows, and hair for female and male . Maritza was ready and I showed her what I wanted . I wanted a color, trim, and blow dry it came out to $55 the outcome was EXACTLY what I wanted she was by far the best hairstylist I've had in a long time . I got a staright blow out which varies from hairdresser to hairdresser. Charles has very nice peaceful energy, which assured me immediately. He was gentle with my hair, and it came out beautiful. I've pounded the streets looking for someone like him. Next week I'll go back for color. I'm going here from now on! He's the best and I give him 5 stars, and highly recommend him. Other reviewers recommended Charles so made an appt with him. My hair color is abit blotchy due to other color disasters, Charles was great genuinely asking and listening to what I wanted and explaining what he will be doing. I didn't know what to expect so was a bit nervous, but the I turned out great. Charles didn't try to skip or take a fast track, and went to the length of cutting twice, before and after blow dry to perfect the bouncing hair cut. I definitely recommend him, he does not try to up sell and knows what he's doing. Tip: if you see any groupon/LS type of flash deals, you don't have to buy from the site but just call the salon directly and they will honor the price. Booking will be easier as well. Note: I see a lot of questions about keratin treatment, before you do any, you should talk to the stylist and tell them what you are looking for. There are 3 types there. Regular Brizilian Keratin (straight), EZ Keratin (nutritious keratin) and Kgloss (crystal glossy and nutritious, least straight and bouncy). I've done Brazilian elsewhere and it's more to straighten hair, I've done kgloss here twice, which I love doing because it's not as flat straight but more bouncy and nourishing. If you have a thin hair, blond etc, Japanese straight should not be done since really it's for more dense and thicker Asian hair. Great service + price, great hair, hassle free
