The food is not bad but the staff trying to communicate preferences to chef gets lost. My mother in law said she's allergic to MSg so they bright her the noodles plain...with no sauce nothing. Plain noodles. Instead staff should say we're unable to prepare this dish without MSG. We ask for the rice on the side, it comes in a to go container while we're all sitting there eating.... The place is pretty big that I can imagine the noise level being really loud if it was a busy night. The portion served was just enough for two adults, but it does appear to be small when you see the dish brought out to you initially. I enjoyed the sides. Although limited, they were delicious and mostly paired well with the meat. This bbq place provides the marinated thinly sliced onion and salad to pair with your meat. The meat quality was decent, and nothing I would rave about, but was satisfactory. I do think this place will get better with time, because they just opened in January. Our meat was burnt most of the time. I didn't complain about it but the fact is that the meat was left on the grill too long and the servers are there to cook for you - I guess. Finally a GOOD Korean bbq place in the triangle area! I used to live near Annandale VA so I'm very familiar with what food Korean bbq is about. I went during soft opening week so not all the tables were open yet. The price for all you can eat is very reasonable at $35. There are other Korean bbq places around here where a single order of meat may be in the $20-30 range. The interior is very spacious and well decorated. Staff was very friendly. When I went they were a bit swamped. I recommend to try all the meats and seafood once. You actually have enough time to try just about everything twice under the two hour limit. All the meats were good quality. They gave us 5 different dipping sauces. My friend and I loved this AYCE cook your own Korean BBQ! The sides were all good and we opted not to get rice (extra fee) so we can eat more meats! We ate a lot of the salad and you can ask more side dishes if you ever run low. I would definitely recommend the brisket, Seol steak, garlic pork belly, large intestine, and tofu! Actually, all the beef selections are good, except for the beef patty, I was not a fan of it, but it wasn't bad. Also, don't forget to order steamed egg, corn cheese, and steamed dumplings - all included in the AYCE! We ended up staying for the whole 100 minute limit- my friend definitely got her money's worth! It's exciting to finally have korean bbq in the area and it's a great place to go with friends and family for a special occasion. The environment is quite upscale and even the grills were super high tech--the ventilation pulls all the smoke downwards, so your clothes won't stink like meat! The food was great. One night my friends and I spontaneously decided to go out for some Korean BBQ. For us, this was our first time at Seol Grille... and man, it was goooood. To begin, we walked in and put our names down and were seated within 25 minutes. Personally, I didn't mind since there is a shopping area within walking distance. As we sat down we didn't really know what to order, so thankfully our waiter was extremely patient and kind. We ended up not ordering the "all you can eat" option since it was a bit pricier, so we ordered two meats (thinly sliced pork belly & beef bulgogi) instead. With that came a whole bunch of sides... I would have given five stars but I had a very uncomfortable and embarrassing experience following my meal. The food and bar service was excellent! My Soju Mule was verrrry tasty! Our server took several minutes to return after dropping the check so my date and I left cash on the table for him so we could make our exit. We were chased out of the restaurant by him on our way to the car where we politely informed him we left cash on the table. Had a great time eating Korean again!! Suuper clean restaurant, good staff, and even better with the food, well considering most of what I ate is served raw for you to cook. You get a two-hour time limit for all-you-can-eat ($35/person). I literally tried almost every cut of meat they offered except the large intestine because I was with the wife and some friends that didn't think it would smell that pleasant. The steak, pork belly, and Bulgogi cuts are probably my favorites. Absolutely have to try them!! Appetizers were just as great, the sweet and spicy wings, cheesy corn, and egg soufflé are hands down probably one of the better apps I've had at a Korean restaurant. Ooh and when they serve the dipping sauces, I only liked the hot paste and the one that was in the middle of the trio of sauces (don't remember the name). The customer service was great here. They worked really well with us and food was ready within minutes of ordering. Friendly reminder, throughout your course request that they change the grill, only takes seconds. I also loved that because almost everything is served raw The staff is suuper clean with the tables and already ready to clear the space especially if you Alsace to share the counter space with other parties. I had to give this place a 5 because there aren't many Korean all you can eat restaurants around the Raleigh/Cary or even North Carolina that are actually worth the price. This one really is though! I've lived in the Triangle Area for the majority of my life and have yet to enjoy an AYCE Korean BBQ restaurant around here. Sure, there's a ton of HotPot Places that have opened up recently and I have thoroughly enjoyed all of them but Korean BBQ just hits differently. Then I heard about Seol Grille, a first for the RTP area, needless to say, I was extremely excited. I wouldn't have to travel to DC, Charlotte or Atlanta to get my fix of Korean BBQ anymore. However, I have some lingering concerns... First off, the price is pretty expensive. For 35 dollars I had hoped it would be as good if not better than the other Korean BBQ places I've tried out. IE, Lets Meat ($29.99 in Charlotte), Iron Dish ($29.99 in Charlotte), OhMySamgyopsal (in Atlanta), or Kogiya ($23-$29 in DC). And with such expectations, I couldn't help but feel let down. There wasn't a lot of Banchan (side dishes) as I would have liked. Although the Kimchi, Potatoes, Seaweed Noodles, and Pickled Radishes were nice, I've been spoiled by the array that Let's Meat gives you. The meats were of better quality though! Although there wasn't a lot of options (soft opening), I'm hopeful that the quality will stay the same as more items are added to the menu. I would, however, suggest that maybe oiling the grills before using them because my table had to change the grill A LOT! As for miscellaneous items, I recommend getting the Fried Chicken as it is super tasty! As for the atmosphere, it has a very modern feel to it. Everything is sleek and sharp. The visibility of the restaurant was at the max, meaning that you could see every corner of the restaurant, and I believe that's crucial for places that are AYCE as it provides quick turnaround times between orders. Overall, I'm tentatively giving this place four stars as I believe that this place has the potential to be amazing. read more

Seol Grille is a must if you are looking for good korean bbq in the area. We came for a late lunch on a Saturday and had only a short 5-10 min wait. You can also join the Yelp waitlist ahead of time, which I'd definitely recommend on weekends and nights as they are popular. We were not originally planning to do all you can eat but ended up going with it because it was the most cost efficient option for a group of 2 while giving the most options. All their meat is great quality and we especially loved the spicy bulgogi, brisket, pork belly, and chicken teriyaki. What really made the meal though was the dipping sauces they gave us, our favorites were the green and red ones that were a bit spicy/sweet. The ambiance of this place is modern, clean and spacious. It did not feel like we were piled on top of other parties as we have felt at other kbbq places in the past. Growing up in Dallas, we always had Korean barbecue places but it is rare to see one in NC. We made reservations prior so we were seated pretty quickly. The host and the waitress explained how it works. The portion sizes are tiny as they are an AYCE, but you can order multiple things at once. Try the dduk galbi. Price was a little steep, went on a Friday night, but the service was incredibly quick and excellent. We felt like we got more than our money's worth with how much and how quickly the food came out. As a kbbq vet, I cooked our meat myself, so I can't comment on quality or attentiveness of cooking. Overpriced overpriced overpriced!!!! Over the years, since there's hardly any kbbq not to mention ayce in the triangle area, Seol Grille has been price gouging every single year. Couple years ago it used to be little over $25 a head and now it's a whopping $40! It's a place that you should try once to see what the hype is or come for special occasions but not sustainable to come back frequently. The lack of competition is no more however! I recently discovered Five Spice authentic kbbq in Cary and it's only a little over half the price Seol Grille has. They opened couple months back and has all the standard meats and seafood and seafood pancakes and lettuce and many appetizers that might cost extra at Seol grille. There's also Kpot which is also around $25 for either ayce kbbq or hotpot, and just $5 extra if you want both kbbq + hotpot ayce. They do have more fruits and desserts along with hotpot sauces in the sauce bar, but taste wise I prefer Five Spice meats and appetizers. Everything there is sooo on point! Steamed egg & corn cheese Very delicious! Wow!!!!! Another plus about this restaurant is the table was already setup with the banchan when we came to sit down! So we were able to start eating right away. We ordered rice and it came out in 2 seconds !!!! SPEEDY SERVICE AND OUR SERVER WAS NICE AS WELL! My date and I visited "Soul Grill" for the first time. Upon entering, we were impressed with the ambiance and the computerized waiting list. A computerized robot took us to the table after a very short wait. The restaurant is large and one of the cleanest I have seen. A very well organized staff where all had a task to complete and done very efficiently. Our waiter is the main reason for this review, "Ethan" a true professional who explained their menu in detail, took the time to acquaint me with the chopsticks, and very patiently showed me how to use them. The food was very tasteful with sauces to add to the already excellent cuisine. We will return in the future and recommend this dining experience. read more

My first experience with Seol Grille was this past Friday. Because they don't take reservations we had a large group of 7 and waited quite awhile. It was a popular night to go out to eat and the place was fully packed, including the bar! We tried from the menu all the beef, then all the chicken, squid, shrimp, and all the pork (which I didn't try since I developed a revent pork allergy). Most of everything I had were of decent quality in terms of cut and seasoning. I think the steamed egg perhaps didnt need to be steamed as long as it did although it was still good. Nicke was our waitress and she was great! We had excellent service the entire time. She remembered all of our orders, always kept our water filled, and was very quick with ensuring our grills were changed as soon as it was needed. Great feat with a large group like ours! I do have to say the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I was spoiled by my trips to Virginia, where the price for Korean BBQ is cheaper for all you can eat and I usually also have someone cooking for us as well, but as it is the only All You can Eat Korean BBQ in the area it is still a great place to experience it if you havent yet, so I would still recommend coming here! read more

I have been here twice now and I think it's still was in its soft opening. Typically you do have to wait about an hour but they will text/call so you can go run to crossroads and go to target or marshalls which helps the time go by. I can tell they are still working on the service aspect of it because each time time the food came out slowly. The first time I went they ran out of chicken wings and squid and the second time I went in they ran out of intestines (which is super delicious grilled). I would highly recommend the beef brisket, the Seol steak and the pork shoulder all delicious. You also can't go wrong with any of the pork belly! The sides are nice, you can get the egg soufflé, bean paste stew, and chicken wings and corn cheese. I say get all the sides and they also come accompanies with some dipping sauces. The spicy one is my personal favorite. They do have someone come by and change the grilling pans since the marinated meats can burn the grill. You have a 2 hour limit so I wish the service was quicker the blame the backup on the kitchen which I think is odd since almost everything comes out raw. If they could make the actual food coming out speedier I would have rated it 5 stars, it's just both times I have come in I have had to wait on our orders of meat. read more
