I really can't overstate how bad this sushi was. I am certainly hoping we make it through the next…read more24 hours without getting sick. There was definitely some "bad" fish (tasted old) in the rolls, which fell completely apart the moment you attempted to pick them up. Ambiance? The large bowl of rice sitting outside the bathroom was a bad look. The server was nice enough, but the best service in the world could not offset the poor quality of the food. I have had better sushi from the grocery store and from Sam's Club. The saddest part? I had been wanting to try "the best sushi in Springfield" for the last two years! For your reference- we had 4 rolls- spicy tuna, Alaska roll (salmon), French kiss (shrimp tempura, crab, salmon), and Caribbean orgazam (soft shell crab, salmon). There was not a good roll in the bunch. Seriously, this is not the place to go for sushi.

It was 8 pm and my daughter found Happy Sushi on line and said let's try it. We were worried about getting there so close to close 8:30, but hoped for the best. They welcomed us in! It was very clean and organized. Not a lot of seating. We got several sushi rolls, noodles and some ramen. It was excellent. The owned stopped by the table to talk to my daughter with the busted arm and made her feel better. We will definitely be making stops here in the future. Thanks so much Happy sushi!!!!!

We came here on o Monday just after it opened up at 11am to celebrate our Mom's 92nd birthday with…read morea good meal (she picked this place). Among the four of us, two ordered the Texas Style Beef Brisket Platter ($27.99), and two ordered the Pulled Pork Platter ($21.49). I had the brisket with my two sides being baked beans and Mac n cheese. The interior is open air with mostly booths and a bar in the middle. I imagine it can become a little noisy when it's filled with people, but we had arrived early so there wasn't any issues with noise. Our server was polite and friendly. She put the coffee on fresh for us. She checked on us several times during our meal. I loved my brisket. It was tender and moist and very good! I added some sauce to my plate for dipping. There were 4 sauces to choose from, but the two I enjoyed were the Mustard BBQ, and the Chipotle BBQ. Both had some heat which added some great flavors to the brisket. The others all enjoyed their orders as well. Mom loved her pulled pork, and she had a great time. We all went home where cake, ice cream, presents and birthday cards awaited her. Thanks Smokey Bones for helping make Mom's birthday special! 5 stars!

Mustard bbq, KC bbq, Chipotle bbq & Carolina mopping sauce The vibe was lively and fun, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Service did slow down a bit, but with a game on and the place packed, it was understandable. The food itself was unforgettable. The mac and cheese was absolutely to die for, rich and creamy. The Morning Glory Burger with the egg was a flavor bomb of amazing! I was hesitant but the mix was spot on. And the Brisket Stuffed Grilled Cheese? Just insane. I honestly can't tell you which one to pick because you won't go wrong with any of them! Can't wait to come back and try even more from the menu.

I recently had Wing Madness for the first time and my experience was mediocre at worst. When I…read morearrived, I immediately noticed the cleanliness of the restaurant which was followed by the desolate wasteland that stood before me. Myself and my acquaintance were the only 2 in the tiny building and it appeared that we were the first to arrive in quite some time. But now to what's most important, the food. I ordered the K-Dog with potatoes, the Traditional Wings with the Korean BBQ sauce, the boba tea with coffee boba, and my compatriot also ordered us the Cheesy Sweet Corn. I'm gonna start off with the Cheesy Corn. It was quite literally canned sweet corn with a little bit of cheese on top. I love corn more than the next guy, but when you're paying $5 for cheesy corn, you could at least add some more cheese. The boba tea was quite scrumptious though. The tea itself had a nice flavor to it but the boba isn't what you'd typically expect for a boba tea. It was more of a jelly consistency which wasn't bad, just not what I was expecting. The K-Dog was crunchy and crispy and quite good. Greasy, but good. And finally, the chicken. It wasn't a high quality meat by any means but they did a great job at frying it to perfection and the sauce was delectable. Overall, it's a good place when you're in a pinch. I would recommend it to friends but I think there are better places to get wings. I will commend them on their speed and the food was VERY fresh though. It's not a bad restaurant, but it's not the best.
