I've eaten here twice and the food is so good! The first time I had the burrito with chicken-- it's a generous portion with great flavors-- the Kimchee rice is spot on with the right level of spicy and savory notes. The veggies and sauce complemented the rice and nicely charred? Chicken really well. Ordering is easy via the kiosks and the food is made to order and comes out quickly. The 2nd visit I had a Gogi Bowl with spicy pork-- this is an excellent version of BiBimBap-- the pork was crispy and the veggies, gochujang spot on, and the veggies were fresh and crispy. I wanted to try out a restaurant I've never been to before because I've noticed I have been going to the same spots all the time. You order from a kiosk but there was an attendant there if you had any questions. I ordered the kimchi fried rice and spring rolls. The kimchi rice left something to the imagination. But the spring rolls were delicious. The dipping sauce they came with was very yummy. It appeared that the kimchi rice had meat bits in it but I live too far away to take it back. Seoul taco for the soul. Solid korean/mexican twist. Plenty of seating for your burrito or taco or bowl needs. Over the last 6 months, I've had a variety of arrangements from tacos to bowls to different proteins. I would put this place as a similar tier as chipotle. Make your own meal type of restaurant. Seoul Taco x 3LP is here! I loved the salt and pepper rice box they have, but I wish they gave the option to split the different sides and not just give you rice. The tacos were alright - the sauce overpowers the meat. The service was decent. You order on a kiosk, and they call your number. First time at the Seoul Taco/ 3LP collaboration The original fried chicken sandwich was delicious; super moist and crispy. Our kids loved the beef tacos. I think the crab Rangoon are slightly better at the Bridgeport location of 3LP. The KFC sandwich was way too sweet for me. Also the three tables we tried were sticky. I know this review seems negative but we will definitely come back for that original sandwich. read more

This is the first store collaboration with Seoul Taco & 3 Little Pigs. They've got both menu's in one space. As you enter there is a tablet to order at the counter. You can pick between both menus. Korean style tacos or Fusion style Chinese food. Both do a great job with their perspective dishes. They've even got a collaboration sandwich here. It's a Korean flavored fried chicken sandwich. And it is huge! I also got to eat the char siu bbq with garlic butter rice. A bulgolgi taco which is delicious and a must have here. Next time I wanna try the salt & pepper chicken sandwich. Haven't posted a review in a long time but had to today, stopped in around 12:35 on a Tuesday, ordered the Spicy hot chicken sandwich w/ fries and the spicy pork burrito. Plenty of seating able sit down right away. The sandwich had the absolute best crisp/flakey breading I've ever had on a chicken sandwich. better than Popeyes, churches, chick fil a, famous Dave's, and others. It was pretty big too ended up saving burrito for later. The ketchup for fries has a nice tang to it but no bad aftertaste like I've experienced at NADC burger. This is a cute Korean/Mexican restaurant in a neighborhood on the south side of Chicago. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our food. The meats were nicely grilled and seasoned. Definitely a good mix of Korean and Mexican cuisine. Good presentation of food. The restaurant's interior is well decorated, very suitable for a date. Quickly was searching for something to eat, and Seoul Taco popped up. It sounded good Mexican-Korean fusion? That sounds like a solid combination. As a warning, most things are on the spicy side, so if you have kids or people who aren't a fan of spice beware. We arrived and found some street parking. Upon entering, we weren't greeted, and it was a very impersonal experience. You order at a kiosk, and basically, the only interaction you have is when they bring out your food. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of these ordering at kiosk. I like to ask questions and get opinions from the workers. We ordered the elote quesadilla, kimchi rice, beef bulgogi tacos, sweet potato waffle fries, horchata, and burritos. It didn't take too long for most of our order to come out, but it took forever for the fries, but that's because I think they forgot about it until we asked. Back to the food, the elote quesadilla was different in a good way. The meat is extra but in my opinion worth it. Otherwise, it would be lackluster. I didn't try the tacos because the tortilla shells did not look heated, and they had a spring mix on the tacos. It was more greenery than meat. The kimchi rice was just spicy, I couldn't even enjoy it. As for the horchata, it was a mix that wasn't mixed well enough, so it had clumps, and by the time you get to the end, just all the residual powder. My family said the burritos were tasty. The space is well utilized. There is plenty of seating for a small area and a nice interior design. It's a cool concept, but it just didn't do it for me in the service and taste department. read more

I went here for a family lunch with small kids. I should have read more on the restaurant before dinning. Everything was spicy. It was hard to ask any questions because you order at a kiosk and there is little to no people interaction. Other than, here is your food. The tacos were okay, the tortilla was barely warmed. The burrito was really good to me, but it was all basically just rice. We ordered horchata and I don't think it was fully mixed. There was powder residue floating around the top and bottom of the cup. We ordered sweet potato fries for the kids, but even that had chilli powder on it. That being said, if you are getting Seoul Taco, get the bulgogi and grab something with kimchi. Ohhhh thanks Seoul taco for the horrid dining experience. My family and I spent around $80 just to wait 45 minutes and receive nothing. No food. No explanation. Then the fun began as we listened to the cook throw stuff in anger around the tiny kitchen and scream at another employee about all the food he doesn't have. I listened to him say he had no chicken, no meat and had to make more of blah blah blah. We asked for a refund and we're just told come back another time. Not only would I never return after witnessing the cluster f they had going on, but the only guy working in the kitchen stormed out for a smoke break I guess. We had to push over and over to get on the phone with someone who could get our money back to us. I wouldn't trust a single thing coming out of that kitchen. read more

I recently went to Seoul Taco and here is my review: Ambience It is pretty cozy looking with nice decoration. We ordered from a touch screen. We went during an off hour so it was not too busy other than what looked like some take out orders waiting for their food delivery peeps to pick them up. Service The staff seemed nice. They brought us our food. I would say the service would be similar to a lot of different takeout places. Food We had to base our experience without the Seoul Sauce, since when we went to order, there was a sign saying they were out of it... Tacos - we got the tacos with beef. When ordering you do get to customize the taco where you can add an egg or some other things. We went with a medium fried egg. The meat was marinated in a bulgogi marinade. It was a nice dish but better when we added the lime. I would not really recommend the egg or if you really wanted one, go with the over easy egg to get the runny yolk. Munchwrap Seoulpreme - This dish was confusing to me. There were so many flavors hitting you. They do give you a side of queso which I think made it somewhat better. I guess it would have been fine with the queso in the wrap to begin with. If they press it, it would have been even distributed throughout the wrap itself (just my theory). Quesadilla - I really enjoy this dish. We got it which marinated chicken. It had queso and a wasabi? Mayo drizzled on it. The mayo was not overpowering but brought a little heat. Everything worked well together and would take our place as the best dish we had there so far. Overall There were some ups and downs with Seoul taco. I think the munchwrap had too much going on, for me. The tacos were good but I really liked the quesadilla. I would like to go back and try different some of the other items as well as see if the pork would have made a difference as well. Seoul taco is not bad and maybe the Seoul Sauce which was not available at the time is a game changer. Time will tell. I was visiting U Chicago for some lectures and happened upon this place which was a unique concept: mixing Korean and Mexican flavors in a taco format. I think the whole concept was a little overpriced for the volume of food that you get, although it was tasty and mixed flavors in an interesting way. I've been visiting this Korean-Mexican fusion place for the last few years, and I really enjoy the Gogi Bowl with spicy pork, substitute fried rice. It has salad greens in it, so you don't feel too bad about getting something healthy for fast food. Just make sure you mix it well, because there's a pile of gochujang spicy sauce tucked in there somewhere, and if you hit it near the end, it's going to be a very intense meal from there on out! Ordering is super straightforward, there's ample seating. Parking is metered on the street. I think if you're willing to walk a few blocks, you can probably snag some neighborhood parking. read more

The bulgogi tacos and spicy pork quesadilla are fantastic. The marinades for the meat are a bit sweeter than some Korean places, but they're delicious. Delivery happens fast; these folks have it down to a science. I wish they'd had the elote available when I ordered; I'll try it next. I also *really* appreciate the customization options. The raw onions that usually go with all these menu items don't agree with my system at all, so being able to omit them when I'm ordering online is huge for me. It's in a corner spot on the same street as Medici. The area has a college-y vibe and the store fits in well. I brought my sister and bro in law here because none of us had been. We basically ordered everything, a burrito, a bowl, quesadilla along with the side of kimchi fried rice and the queso and chips. So, the queso and chips are skippable, the chips were old and the queso seemed like it was mostly flour. We stopped eating to focus on the other stuff. The burrito is probably the best followed by the quesadilla, they had the best balance of spice, carbs and protein. I will say that the burrito is best fresh. They taste better without the lime fyi. - Gogi bowl (3.5/5): if we didn't pick bulgogi steak as protein topping (extra $2), this would have been worse. Seoul IS MISSING SOUL! Food is tasty but it's hard to enjoy it when it's thrown together with no care or concern. I personally would not want to eat at any establishment that didn't care about their food's presentation and/or quality. Y'all please take a look at the photo that I took of my order right after opening the box. It's laughable to have paid for this. It didn't fall over in the car, the bag was sealed (stapled) when I got there, so I didn't get to check the food before leaving, and it stayed closed till I got home. I come here rarely for this reason. This is not the first time either, but I do think this was my last time. The burrito was good. Before, burritos came w/sweet potato waffle fries, I guess not anymore. But that is ok, because I remember getting cold, overcooked waffle fries. Ambiance - this was a Togo order! I had ordered jungle boogie and was very excited to try this imperial pale wheat with rooibos, but the lager came with the meal instead. It's ok... the food was exceptional and made up for it. I hadn't been back since 2021, so I decided to try it out again in a bout of nostalgia. Sadly, I think they've jumped the shark. I got the bulgogi burrito, and it seems like they raised the price 50% and simultaneously reduced the burrito portions by 50% since then. I think paying $16 for a small burrito before taxes is just not a good value proposition, sadly. I ordered the burrito with tofu and actually thought it was pretty good! The flavor of the kimchi rice was really unique (in a good way!) and there was the perfect amount of spice. The flavor combinations are definitely interesting, so I'm not sure this would truly hit the spot if you were craving a burrito, but it is definitely worth a try. The kiosk wasn't working all that well but it didn't seem like there was an option to talk to anyone that was working. Perhaps I am salty that I was unable to add beef to my elote quesadilla on the kiosk Anyhow, I ended up ordering the burrito instead and it was pretty good! The ambiance was casual.
