    Kids meal spicy pork
    Brooke A.

This was a wonderful quick dinner option after a long day. A quick yelp searcher showed that this place had healthy options, so I walked over and caught them about an hour before close. I got a kid meal, and it was a surprisingly substantial portion of food. The glass noodles were calling me, so I picked those as my base, spicy pork as my protein, and cucumber and kale as my veggies. The service was excellent, and I was in and out within five minutes. I was impressed with the noodles, and the pork had good flavor though it was a bit tough. I'd definitely get a BYOB next time to load up on toppings!

This was my first time trying SeoulSpice. The person that I went with said the portions we got at this location were much smaller compared to other ones she has been at. I still enjoyed the food though but I'm not sure it was anything AMAZING. Restaurant was relatively clean.

I LOVE Seoul Spice. As a person who travels with Celiac, I am always excited to see a Seoul Spice near me. Everything is 100% gluten free. My husband and son (who can eat gluten) were excited to try this when we went to a Capitals game. Everyone loved their bowls and the incredibly generous portions. This location was super convenient and the staff were friendly. The bathrooms were not in working order which is the only reason for the 4 stars.

It's a small, cute little place. It's the Asian version of Chipotle . You can build your own Korean bowl or order a Signature bowl. It's fast. The food was tasty and flavorful. The price is a bit more than the online menu that you see from Yelp. But it was the bang for my bucks! I will definitely come again.

It was very good. A nice option after some sightseeing. My son and I had the noodle option and my other son had the rice option. I wish I could have seen everything before I filled out the order slip. It was crazy busy at lunch time. But we were able to place our order, watched as it was made and the pay. We were lucky enough to find room to sit and eat. It was a much healthier option than all the food truck options outside. It was about $20 per person with a drink. Service was good (order and payment). Super packed inside and very tight seating if you are hiding from any bad weather, good luck finding a seat. Just want a few minutes and be ready. lol I would try this place again.

So delicious! The waitress was extremely helpful and patient while we figured out what to get. Definitely will be going back next time I'm in DC. It was a tasty and quick option.

Really enjoyed this spot, and definitely a better spot than the Rice Bar. More options and a lot more flavor. Good amount of food and helpful staff. Loved it.

Japchae bowl with roasted chicken, sesamiso, creamy sriracha

The five star reviews are spot on! First time here. Got a japchae bowl with chicken and they loaded it up with all the fixings. They do not skimp on anything (ahem Chipotle). The sauces I got were so good together and recommended by the employee (sesamiso and creamy sriracha). If I'm here again I need to try a rice bowl. With all the Asian restaurants we have in SoCal we don't have one like this. Special shout out to Tyrus (so sorry if I spelled that wrong) but he made my first meal in DC really special with his great hospitality and customer service. What a wonderful start to my trip and it was all thanks to him.

Food was good. Service and ambiance knocked this place down, music was waay too loud. Employee behind the counter was just plain rude and obviously didn't want to be there. This is a place where you give customers a lot of options so don't be annoyed at them or rush them through the process. I liked here the only extras were the egg or avocado. You could also spilt your meats but I couldn't do crispy chicken for some reason. The bowl was really filling and I couldn't even finish it. Nice to have a bowl place that does noodles.

We combined a Saturday visit to the Martin Luther King Memorial Library in DC and the National Portrait Gallery with a visit to Seoulspice for lunch. It's very close to the Capital One Arena on 7th Street. We parked on a paid garage (there aren't any free garages in DC) on 11th Ave G st. We were recommended this place by friends. Seating place is very less, probably 4 tables that seat 6. It wasn't busy this windy and cold Saturday. My Kimchi Crunch Bowl was a good portion. It was spicy and so many flavors. I don't think I have ever had purple rice. The Southwest bowl is another one we thought was awesome. We also got a custom bowl. Well worth it and prices reasonable for the Washington DC city center.

While in Washington DC in June 2024, I stopped by Seoul Spice, a 100% gluten-free Korean version of Chipotle. This isn't fine dining. There are no waiters. It's quick service. As a Celiac, this is one spot I always visit while in DC and there are locations throughout the East Coast and Illinois.  I personally like the beef bulgogi, a thin, marinated beef for my protein choice.  I also like the japchae, a sweet potato glass noodle dish as my base, only because japchae usually contains gluten at other Korean restaurants because it contains soy sauce, which contains wheat, which contains gluten.  There are also prepackaged desserts, like cookies, available. Service is quick and I always get my food to go. The food is in compostable containers. Last visit: June 2024

I wish we had more locations in Northern Virginia as this place was such a good place to get a quick bite in. If you like Bibambap, this is definitely a great option as everything is customizable. If you have ever eaten at chipotle before, then you know how this works. Pick your bowl whether it's with rice, noodle, salad, or even a " korrito " (kimbap). From there, you can pick up your protein, veggies, sauces, and toppings. I really like how generous they are with the portions here and you can really do no wrong with any combination. Everything here is just good. For the price, I think if it's under 15 bucks it's a good deal for it being right in the middle of DC. Affordable would be best described this place as you get your moneys worth for sure. I will admit, I don't remember what I ordered but my experience was very pleasant, the bowl I made was a delight after walking around in the hot sun the whole day and I just feel like it doesn't make you feel bloated either. Check this place out if you're around Penn Quarter!

I liked this one the most for all my meals this trip in DC. They are generous with portions and the flavors are spot on. I had a ginger carrot salad dressing but didn't need it because the bulgogi bowl had enough seasoning to skip it. I kept eating but the food didn't seem to diminish and though I should have made easily another portion my mouth told me to keep going! Ah! This food satisfies me, no wonder it is called Seoul Spice! It really did satisfy my soul! I didn't get to comment on the place because my food was to go!

We had three various appetizers from the cool ranch onion rings to the Seattle fries with a mix of dope beet salad in there. All were good, the onion rings were definitely my favorite and judging by all the orders I saw around, it was everyone else's as well. The mains were the RPG and the fish special. The RPG was a bit heavy on the mayo, next time would ask for less mayo but it was still delicious as a char su pork fan. This hit the mark. The fish sandwich was tangy and spicy which made it delicious. It was a bit messy and the bun didn't hold up great but that didn't detract from the flavors. All in all this place is a gem of a sandwich shop / bar. Would recommend if you are in the area.

SweetGreen location is for "pick-up" only. Sweetgreen charged me $19.56 to my card. When I went to the location to retrieve the order, the Manager (a short, Hispanic male) told me that their power had been down, so they hadn't received any orders. Yet, your company charged me $19.56. I asked him to provide me a refund, and he stated he does not know how to do that. He told me that I will need to request a refund through the app or the website. I go to my app and pull up the website from my cell phone and asked him, where do I request a refund? His exact words were, "I DON'T KNOW". I asked him for the number to Corporate or to someone in customer service who does know and can answer questions that he clearly did not know, and his response to me again was. "I DON'T KNOW". I spent 35 minutes of my lunch hour in there with no help, no refund, no food and not knowing how to request assistance for the refund. I left, went back to my office, and logged back into SweetGreen's website, where I placed the order. I logged into my account, only to find that all the contact numbers for SweetGreen were not working or out of service, and they only allow you to chat with AI. I explained in detail with AI. Heitzel R. stated she could assist me further, and after that I sent an additional 5 messages because Heitzel R. stopped responding to me. Then I received a message stating that the chat ended. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? No one was able to assist, and at this point, I'm EXTREMELY FURIOUS, I'm out of $19.56, I didn't get a chance to eat lunch, and my problem has YET to be RESOLVED. I will NEVER in my LIFE order from this place again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, I would've given this location ZERO STARS if I could, but unfortunately, Yelp does not allow that.

Unfortunately, the problems started as soon as we opened our food. I ordered a 3 Finger Combo with naked tenders, extra crispy fries, and three pieces of Texas toast with butter on both sides. Instead, I was missing an entire tender, my fries were soft instead of extra crispy, and the toast wasn't prepared as requested. These are modifications that have been accommodated at other Raising Cane's locations, and my order was confirmed before I paid, so I expected it to be made correctly. It wasn't just my meal that was wrong. One coworker substituted fries for coleslaw but somehow received two coleslaws instead, even after the order had been read back correctly. Another coworker found a long black hair in his food, immediately ruining his meal. By the time we realized how many mistakes had been made, we had already left the restaurant, so there was no practical way to have everything corrected. Mistakes happen, but it's rare to see so many errors in a single order affecting multiple people. Missing food, incorrect substitutions, ignored requests, and a hair in someone's meal all made for an incredibly disappointing experience. To make matters worse, the service itself lacked professionalism. The employee taking our order repeatedly asked coworkers for help, seemed confused throughout the process, and even forgot what she was asking. When I later spoke with the manager in the gray polo, I expected someone who would take the concerns seriously. Instead, he came across as dismissive and confrontational, leaving me feeling like our experience didn't matter. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing fast-food experiences I've had. I hope this location improves its order accuracy, food quality, and customer service, because customers deserve better than what we received.

Maybe they were all reserved? Not sure. We were greeted by the staffs and shown to the table. Smooth and fast. All the menu looked tempting so had hard time choosing which one to go with. Went with meatloaf and miso salmon. Meatloaf was really good! Flavorful with tender/juicy meat combined with onions, bell peppers etc. Miso salmon was also good! Okra and broccoli were adding more taste to the dish itself. No complaints at all! The prices were on the higher side though. Menu says each are $28. However, there was mandatory service charge of 20% and tax was calculated after the service charge, which end up being approximately $40 per menu item we got - miso salmon and meatloaf. Wish the menu price would just include service charges so prices would not be misleading with all the charges after. Not sure if this is because of World Cup 2026, but too bad they had to hit their customers with extra fees after enjoying the meals which could have ended happily rather than leaving a bad taste in the mouth.
