Ridiculous customer service, amazingly unprofessional staff. No one knows what they are selling, don't know their products. I asked many times to sell eye mask which is hypoallergenic,after I opened it I found it's not marked like safe for allergic eyes. And because it dotted on the shelf 30 days and 6 hours they didn't take it back. I didn't ask for manager because I was in hurry,but I'll be back there and after that I don't think I will ever shop again here. read more

Omg big No I've visited this Sephora location several times, and unfortunately my experiences with customer service have been disappointing. When I asked staff members for help, they often approached with an unfriendly or impatient attitude, as if assisting customers was an inconvenience. In some cases, the help provided was very minimal and not truly helpful. Considering Sephora's reputation as a premium beauty retailer, I expected a more welcoming, professional, and attentive level of service. The overall shopping experience is shaped not only by the products, but also by how customers are treated. I came in to pick up some cosmetic items for my daughter. The service is good as I was able to show the items list to an associate, and she was able to direct me straight to the aisle where they were located and I was able to find them in two minutes, there was a long checkout line so they were able to do a mobile check out for me since I only had two small items to check out and that was very convenient. read more

See where it says they have curbside available? That's why I picked it, because I NEEDED CURBSIDE. When I called & called and didn't get though over and over, I finally got through said a lady answered saying don't have curbside and we can't park on curb (also not true) She was so rude, and shouldn't NOT work in customer service. I will never ever shop here again. I had a big event and wasted so time/gas coming specifically here because they offered curbside, everything ran late to because of this . & no apology from her, & would not bring it out. There is a new Sephora located in One Loudoun and my wife and I decided to explore yesterday. They now carry more men's products than I remember so it felt normal for me to wander around. Neat clean with every product in its place. Not as busy as I would have expected and many customers were young (which I did expect). I definitely would not recommend using this store in Loudoun 1. My wife used our VISA credit card to pay for her services. Since then we received a statement from Sephora VISA that showed a balance due of $123.68. This charge was incorrect since my wife paid for her services with another credit card. More important, she did not authorize the issuance of a credit card. I intend to report Sephora to the Loudoun County Sheriff's department for these issues. I was unable to call either the store or Sephora VISA today to inquire about this situation. My advice is don't shop at this store! read more

There are some absolutely wonderful and kind sales associates. They greet you warmly. There is an older, Hispanic manager (I am Hispanic) who is so rude to her staff. I went in to buy some makeup for a funeral. Normally there is a lot of staff..this day, not so many. A young lady told me very politely that she was helping someone and would be with me. I waited patiently. When the young lady started to help me, the older one, my age, came up to her and in front of me said she had spent too long helping me. She ripped this young lady. The associate had truly just started helping me. I was stunned, completely. I avoided this location for a while, and went to Reston and Tysons even though they are not nearby. I saw a longtime sales associate of Sephora who had been at Reston and then One Loudoun working at Ulta. I told her it was sad she left because the other lady was so rude. She told me she left because of her. I needed something and was out with my son and went into Sephora One Loudoun..no sign of the rude lady..happy staff...so I started shopping there again. I went in for a Rouge event this summer, and who is there, but the rude manager. How do you continue to employ someone who is unkind to sales associates? read more

Okay... I'm a minimalist so I don't like the cakey? cakie??? (spelling not important) look and every time I walk into this store and see William aka "Makeup William Shakespeare" aka "Sweetheart" aka "Cutie" I know I will get exactly what I walked into the store for and will get his honest opinion of whatever it is I'm buying or into at the moment. Again, I'm a minimalist so I don't venture far from the nudes, subtle pinks and and occasional sparkle. I love the store but love William more :)... trust me... if/when you go... ask for William. I came in to get my birthday freebie yesterday. When I first went in, the male staff that greeted me was very cordial and nice. Once I got to the counter, the girl that helped me had so much attitude. Barely gave eye contact, not even a smile, but I don't even care about that. Main issue was that she didn't look like she wanted to help or be bothered with. She just kept chatting with her coworker next to her. And she didn't even bother to put my item in a bag, and when I asked for one, she looked annoyed and again, didn't even looked at me as she handed me a bag. Just plain rude. Like what kind of customer service is that? Can't believe I even bothered to say thank you to her as I left when she didn't say anything nice or even acted it. Ive never written a yelp review in my LIFE- but i was so disappointed and offended by the salesgirl with checked me out here. I didn't catch her name, but she has dark straight hair and braces. She looked to be about 25-30, which I want to clarify in that I would not openly critique a teenager who I would assume has lesser experience. I'm used to simple kind service and help at this location, but she wanted to absolutely nothing to do with me at checkout. Standoffish, rude, and was impatient with me when I had to run back to switch out an incorrect product I had picked up. Sighed and rolled her eyes when I had to walk away to pick out something else. I had a gift card and just looked at me and said she didn't know how to use it. I took it upon myself to ask another sales-person to provide assistance. I forgot to add in my points/tie my phone number to my purchase (of nearly $100) and she said said "oh, sorry you already paid. It probably worked though" (it didn't, but by that point I was embarrassed and uncomfortable) I am assuming I'm younger than her - I'm 23 and have never written a negative review before but dealing with this salesgirl at checkout made me feel so disregarded, insecure in my own mistakes of picking up products, and averse to returning. I have had positive experiences with everyone else here and have never thought twice, but wow-- this girl was straight up rude. read more
