I took my niece here on a recent visit here. An attendant helped my niece with foundation and counselor. I then asked the same attendant if she new if any other type of foundation that would give full coverage to cover my dark spots. She told me she would get someone else to help me then took my niece to the counter to pay for her items. No one came, and I have seen this kind of behavior in this particular store where they all seem to look busy but not! Now I'm standing there and other employees see me waiting but not one asks if I needed assistance! If I know what I come to get which I did and had a few items in my hand. The associate helping me with product recommendations was AMAZING, friendly, knowledgeable, and really made the shopping fun. I just wish I'd gotten her name! Then came checkout... and wow. The cashier, I wish I got her name, a woman with a shaved head, was rude, impatient, and clearly annoyed while I tried to use multiple gift cards and rewards. I had to step outside twice just to pull up codes, and she even rolled her eyes at me when I thanked her and apologized for the inconvenience. When I needed to find the perfect foundation for my wedding day, Megan S. was very helpful. I had previously placed an online pickup order for Dior skin glow, but they didn't have the color I needed. So then they send Megan to help me. I have olive tones so finding makeup that goes with my skin tone is not easy. She also has olive tones too and was able to relate and recommended Hauslabs Triclone foundation. Her overall demeanor is empathetic and very helpful with finding the perfect makeup for my big day. I went to Ulta the other day and couldn't find my shade I even tried with the phone app but she looked and tested on cheek and then neck. No technology was used she was very confident in recognizing what I needed. I have somewhat dry combination skin and I didn't want it to look cakey. I'm grateful for the staff they were busy and friendly. Always checking and helping customers. Even though fast paced with lots of other customers. I've been here so many times and it's always a good experience. I had a really hard time trying to find a concealer that works for me and many of the workers were helpful and kind but Amy hands down was AMAZING. She made me feel like she genuinely cared that I find the concealer for me and was informative, offered to swatch other brands on me and in general made what I thought be stressful be super easy and I greatly appreciate it! I appreciate that despite the busyness and waves of customers from all over the world with myriad of diverse requests, the staff is impeccably knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. The store was well stocked and I didn't need to go hunting for the items my female relatives had requested. I'm pretty much clueless I've been searching for a place that carries Haus Lab products so I can find a matching foundation because I didn't want to guess and order something (probably of the wrong shade) online. Mya greeted us instantly and was able to find my true shade in about 1.5 minutes. She was very helpful, and wasn't pushy at all with anything like other salespeople usually are. While out for the day and with it getting hotter now I do not want to smell so I stopped in here to pick up some perfume for my purse. Allow this is a small store from the outside it is very large inside. The perfume section is located all the way in the back by the register and is not huge but there is enough to make a decision in. I was seeking a purse size and there was a large enough selection to make me happy too. I was approached by a few different Sephora staff and one of the ladies even recommended the brand that I was searching for. I purchased the brand Burberry's and "My Burberry Blush" scent. This scent is so captivating and lasts all day. I also get so many compliments on the smell. When it was time to pay the line was a little long, but while waiting I discovered a glittery makeup bag that looks like it goes with the perfume I was buying. I had to have them both. This was my first time in a mall and cosmetics store since the pandemic began. I was a little apprehensive about how my experience would be because of the new changes and procedures in place, but it went very smoothly. I went in fully expecting NOT to be able to swatch anything. I'm not really much of an in-store swatcher to begin with. I like to research and google the heck out of the product(s) I'm interested in and see other people's swatches in natural light and on a skin tone similar to mine. With that being said, I was not disappointed nor did I try to test any products. I knew exactly what I wanted. When you first come up to the store front, a nice employee is standing at a podium with hand sanitizer. I was glad to take some and because I was a party of one on a weekday, there was no line to get in. I knew what product I wanted but I had no idea where to find it. A super nice guy saw I looked a little lost and asked if I needed help. I was grateful! He showed me exactly where to go, I grabbed my product and stood in line. There were several people in front of me and he saw that I had been waiting a bit. He grabbed someone to check me out. It was great.They were so kind and made the experience really pleasant. I don't visit Sephora too often, but if I need to come in again, I have no reservations about spending my money (or my husband's, hahaha) at this particular location! read more

I went to Sephora at Fashion show and I have never been racially profiled so bad at any Sephora location like I was today. My husband, sister and I were looking for a new fragrance to purchase along w/skin care and the majority of the employees were following us around the store watching us! even though there were plenty folks shopping the Sephora sale and I am Rouge status. If you are black, Latina, or mixed raced be prepared to be treated like you are going to steal. I completed my purchase and walked out so embarrassed, needless to say NEVER going back. This concerns the policy of Sephora in Las Vegas Fashion Show Mall to charge $50 total for putting on a pair of strip lashes on the wifey's eyes. She doesn't want the added eye makeup due to sensitive eyes, and strip lashes are enough for her. In our local LA Sephora, she was always advised to book an appointment for Brow Wax ($22) and then use the purchased lashes - already an added expense. However, upon calling to confirm the Vegas appointment for early January 2023, the staffer told her "laws in Nevada are different than in California - you have to book a Focus Feature and then purchase the lashes." Apparently Sephora is addressing this nationally by implementing a $15 service charge for applying store purchased strip lashes - purportedly in February 2023. But until then, be prepared to pay $50 - even though eye makeup is not desired. Lack of unified policy, arbitrary decisions, and then the legal claim. Nonsense. read more
