This concerns the policy of Sephora in Las Vegas Fashion Show Mall to charge $50 total for putting on a pair of strip lashes on the wifey's eyes. She doesn't want the added eye makeup due to sensitive eyes, and strip lashes are enough for her. In our local LA Sephora, she was always advised to book an appointment for Brow Wax ($22) and then use the purchased lashes - already an added expense. However, upon calling to confirm the Vegas appointment for early January 2023, the staffer told her "laws in Nevada are different than in California - you have to book a Focus Feature and then purchase the lashes." Apparently Sephora is addressing this nationally by implementing a $15 service charge for applying store purchased strip lashes - purportedly in February 2023. But until then, be prepared to pay $50 - even though eye makeup is not desired. Lack of unified policy, arbitrary decisions, and then the legal claim. Nonsense. read more

Very excited to finally have a Sephora inside the Fashion show mall. It was always such a hassle to go anywhere else. Only problem with this one was that it was either too crowded or the furniture was just way to close to each other. I couldn't go anywhere with out saying "excuse me" every five seconds. Over all I tried to not let this disappoint me as they do have a great selection of merchandise. Customer service was okay but I also did not ask for any help. Been here a few times and have been disappointed with management / employees. Today I went to make a simple return which took about 15 minutes. I waiting in line until finally someone who was just standing around decided to help out at the register. During this 15 minutes at the counter she called me "hun" and "sweetheart" maybe 5 times - unprofessional. She did not know how to make a return and had to ask for help. Teach your employees at the register how to make simple returns and how to treat valuable customers professionally. read more

As a VIB Rouge card holder I'm ALWAYS getting my makeup done at various Sephora locations when I travel for work. I'm in Vegas a lot and usually frequent the miracle mile location. I will now ALWAYS get my make up done at the Fashion Show location. My make up looks amazing and I couldn't be happier with the entire process. I haven't been to sephora in a while. Yesterday I stopped by and wanted to see their skin care products. For starters the greeter was super nice and welcoming , she guided me to the skin care section. And while I was looking Selena approached me , asking if needed help and I did. She was so educated with the clean products that they have. And very helpful. I had asked about the payment plan if they offer it instore. And they do. Once I was done shopping I was helped by Jasmine I believe she had blue liner or blue lashes. They were busy as always but she was kind enough to help me check out and sign up for klarna. Decent Sephora but nothing especially remarkable compared to other locations. The floor was very busy with both customers and sales staff and it felt cramped. I would have browsed more if it felt more spacious but at one point I just wanted to get out. A few sales staff approached me and asked me if I needed help. I thought it was very weird that the person I checked out with asked me to write out my email address instead of just spelling it. It's not that complicated, but maybe that was because it was so loud with so many people in the store. They had a nice selection of fragrances and their Milk brand selection was very good. I'd recommend if it's not so crowded. Check anything you buy- I bought a FAB gift set and when I opened it back at my hotel, I found one of the pieces was missing. I returned and exchanged it at the location next to Venetian which is much better in that it's larger and more spacious. Felt much less crowded there. read more

Worst Sephora ever. Well the greeters were super nice, but the whole experience was ruined by a Cashier who provided literally ZERO customer service (maybe even negative). During my last visit to Sephora, the person who was working at the check out counter did not greet to me after waving me towards her register. She barely even smiled. Also, normally, I would be asked if I am a Beauty Insider but she was rushing to complete my transaction that she failed to ask me that. I had to quickly bring my card out, so that she could scan my Rouge card to which she seemed annoyed of doing. She didn't say anything after scanning my card, continued with the purchase transaction. Next few words she muttered were just "I need to see your ID" when I was trying to swipe my credit card, and "you need to sign" when I had to sign for my purchase. I didn't even hear her saying "thank you" at the end. Worst service ever! First, there were no reasons why she should have rushed because there were only 2 people after me, and they had 3 Cashiers working the registers at the time. Second, my Cashier's attitude needs to change specially if she's in a service industry. Don't put someone to face customers if they don't want to be there. I also submitted this on Customer Survey. I just left this store not too long ago and I had such a good experience that I wanted to leave a review. I went in wanting to find a new foundation and I approached Patricia and she was so patient with me! She matched me, showed me a new concealer and primer also. I didn't buy it because I flew with a carryon so I wouldn't be able to but she did give me a sample. She was so cute and nice I wish she worked at the one I go to back home! I've been in twice and yesterday my best friend and I had an insulting experience to say the least. Pressed for time, my friend wanted me to smell a new cologne he was contemplating before we headed to our plans. A gentleman proceeded to help us try other scents and out of nowhere asked my friend "What do you use to exfoliate your face?". Now mind you, he literally just got off a plane and I had zero makeup on as we were planning a pool day. No big deal to us though. When my bestie said "nothing", the SA said "I thought so" with a snarky attitude and proceeded to look at the bottle of cologne in his hand! We looked at each other confused as to if it were an insult or if the SA thought his skin was nice. After an AWKWARD moment of silence, the SA asked "So where are you guys from?". I explained I now live here while my friend said SF...The SA gave the most disgusted look to where I felt insulted being that SF is home. The look he gave made is think that it was a filthy place to mention. I immediately said "I love the city" and unenthused the SA responded "Oh me too"...another awkward moment of silence. How does the SA break the ice? By saying "I just thought SF was supposed to be smarter than we are over here" -- referring to the exfoliating subject. Wow!! I was turned off and upset. The SA explained the reason he didn't look 51 is because he exfoliated and then the next thing you know, were over at the facial section of the store. I felt like we were dealing with those "beauty" pop up stands in the middle of the mall. You know, the ones that don't let you say no? We felt obligated to follow him. This has to be my favorite Sephora out of the local ones here. (Better than Summerlin and Town-square locations). Of course they all pretty much carry the same items, however, this location definitely has the best employees. In my few visits here, I would say their employees are the most helpful compared to the other two Sephoras. If you're not sure what you need, the staff here will definitely help you figure out some great options whether it's fragrance, skincare, makeup etc. The other locations are fine if you already know what you want/need. read more

So typically Sephora offers great customer service & they did at first- had a nice guy help me find concealer, that I actually really like now but then I asked about under-eye cream & he asked a girl who basically said "this is my favorite- here", but like whhhyyyy.... it's $65 so can ya tell me why it works or am I just supposed to trust your opinion when you barley even looked at me?! Maybe I'm being canky but I just felt rushed at this location instead of welcomed; especially when checking out- cashier told me I had points & asked if I wanted one of the three gift options (they are tiny little products with hardly any description), I took a second to look at them... she started tapping her hands & such- anxious for me to decide & get out. So NOT EVERYONE wears loads of makeup & knows why or what it all does or means- if they're gonna offer free gifts for all the money spent, which I do appreciate, they should be kind enough to give a quick run down of the products & why I should want them OR place item pictures & info in line or store so peeps can look into their options. There was a small line of maybe 3-4 people behind me but it's not my problem that the other cashier disappeared once I was paying. This location (Fashion Show Mall) is by far the worst of them all. If there would be an option to review it as a zero, I totally would. I called this location first to ask the holiday hours and which parking garage to park at nearest to this store. Whomever I spoke with kept getting irritated with my questions and when I was ready to hang up to say thank you, she hung up on me before I can even say thank you. So I called back and asked her why she hung up on me? She states she was really busy. I asked to speak with a manger and she kept me on hold for 10 mins and finally I hung up. Went into the store and asked for a manager to complain about the worker I spoke with 10 mins before I got there. She said she couldn't know whom it was since I didn't ask for a name. Then the manager went on to help others and just said I'm sorry. At this point I was aggravated because that lady on the phone got away with speaking to a customer the way she did to me. On top of that, there were plenty of workers not doing anything and just standing there and not asking me for help, so I just picked up the things I needed 3 of them were there which was the Kat Von D contour palette, Givenchy pressed powder and Givenchy Blush. They were out of the ABH liquid lipstick in Kathryn and the lady I asked, didn't bother to look if there's anymore. I asked her to call another location and she says if this location is sold out I'm sure the other stores were. I asked her to check anyways and she gave me a dirty look and was irritated. Of course they had it at the Town Square Sephora which I LOVE their service over there. Finally went home and as I was opening my make up, the Givenchy blush was a defect, the bottom piece where the blush applicator goes was loose and was about to fall apart. The Givenchy powder looked like it was used. So now I have to return these products. HORRIBLE Sephora at Fashion Show Mall. Will NEVER be back here again. I was greeted by a friendly employee who was very polite and helpful. I was simply collecting my birthday gift - because Sephora is fabulous like that - and I had no problems with the transaction and I received nothing but smiles and politeness! I had one of the roughest years of my life and feeling appreciated for being a loyal customer genuinely took away some my pain for a moment. :) I love how many locations there are for Sephora, obviously, as it's extremely convenient to get to them (in comparison to similar stores). The fact this usually happens to me is absolutely ridiculous. I've been racially profiled dozens of times and in some instances am asked for my bags to be checked. Obviously, I have the right to deny as employees and secuirty do not have the right to check and detain. Wuite frankly , this is getting absurd to the point where I don't want to go out in public into stores just to get profiled. At this sephora at town square, I've been followed the ENTIRE time i was in the store on multipe occasions. Previously working at a Sephora, I know about all the things they do when they suspect a shoplifter. 2 of the employees were talking to each other on their ear pieces while staring at me for countless minutes. It's sickening this is constantly happened to me and I am tired of it. This store in specific needs to take the aggression on POC down eat more than a couple notches. She's friendly, approachable and gave me a lot of recommendations (unlike MAC Townsquare who gave me wrong color-too tan, she's the total opposite!!). I actually found out about it coz she's wearing it and explained to me other stuffs she is wearing that looks good. One of my favorite Sephora's in town. I've had a wonderful experience every time. Aside from it being pretty nicely sized, the staff has always been really kind and genuinely helpful! There's this one super sweet and beautiful asian woman whose name escapes me now (sadness), that made one of my visits so memorable just for being a freaking ray of sunshine. And it was real because I had my dog with me, who was sweet to her immediately. She's only like that right away to people with that kind of energy. I visited this location today 06.18.19 and was so pleased with the service and my purchase. It was super busy, but an employee walking by saw me trying to find my shade and offered to help. She was very knowledgeable and also took the time to ask questions to make sure we got the right one and that I was pleased with it before I made the purchase. I was ecstatic when the promo billboards started appearing inside the Fashion Show Mall about a new Sephora! The Venetian Sephora is only 7 minutes away when walking but it's nice to have one inside of the mall. The workers are not all over you while shopping, which I find is way better then having multiple people ask you the same question every 10 seconds. It is a very compact store and you often find yourself bumping into people or products. Products available for swatching are always missing, but when I ask if there might be some extras in the drawers there always is, so don't forget to ask someone! Overall, there's always a hectic crowd but the employees are very helpful ! read more

Terrible customer service. The greeter at the entrance door was very nice and welcoming, the sales people inside the store not so much. This one employee kept following me like I was going to steal something and it was very uncomfortable. One of the tester pallet was closed and I went to open it, and she came by quickly towards me and said I'm not supposed to touch it and all I was doing was trying to open a tester so I could see the colors, I'm obviously not going to touch the shades. I was going to ask to swatch the lip colors, but after that incident I didn't want to since she seemed very rude. When I got to the cashier, I gave him my email and he just handed it to me without asking me if I wanted a bag. I asked him for a bag and he just looked at me confused and said that he thought I didn't need one. Just give each customer a bag unless they don't want one, my god.
