So annoyed with my experience at this Sephora today. I am a makeup artist that gets big discounts on cosmetics I don't have to shop at Sephora to get makeup. I choose to shop because there are brands that I like and I used to enjoy the experience. However, today theft prevention was on me like a hawk because apparently if you carry a tote bag you must be slipping products in there as well. To make things even more unpleasant and obvious this theft prevention person walked up behind while I was in line and kept trying to peek inside my bag. I felt super uncomfortable. Then this person left the line and spoke to different employees in the store. I understand that these stores get hit up all the time and there is definitely a need for theft prevention but at what cost? Making paying customers feel unwelcome and like thieves? Honestly, I was just trying to enjoy some girl time and shop around the store and left feeling like I was targeted. Figure out a better way to observe customers without making them feel horrible. read more

Yvette and the manager today were sooooo patient and helpful!!! The only reason why I'm not giving a full 5 star is because it took me 20 mins to find parking and about 10 long minutes to leave - super busy on a Saturday. I normally shop online but I had to come in the store today. The parking experience reminded me how convenient online shopping is! But if you ever need to come here, better to have someone wait for you in the car, or if you're already parked across the street after getting a massage at The NOW lol. Service 0/5 Parking 3/5 Availability of products 1/5 I drove from another part of town based on reviews hoping for easier parking and a positive experience. The parking lot is shared with Trader Joe's and other businesses so it's really busy but it's free. Just had to circle a few times to find a spot. The store was a fairly nice size and it was a bit busy but it was a weekday so not too crazy. I walked the store for a few minutes to find someone who worked there to ask for assistance to get matched for a foundation and was asked to wait to get help. The makeup artist acknowledged me after a few minutes and told me he was alone on the floor and just finishing with a client. I said I could wait with no problem. Diego helped me. I asked to be matched with their color match system and he said he could do it by eye. He put a little foundation on with his fingers because he said his brushes were dirty but didn't match me with the machine as asked. I asked about a few more brands and he said this location had none of them (Sephora carries them but not this store). Since he didn't match me with the machine and they didn't have them in the store I still can't get them online because they are new to me brands- like Pat McGrath's foundation. I had 3 more questions since i couldn't find what i came for and he advised me and then got called on his earpiece and responded that he was "still" with this customer because "she has a basket of questions". Diego had a really unfriendly attitude delivered with an over the top fake smile. I thanked him and said I understood he had to go and he was quick to walk away. It was disappointing to get treated like i was inconveniencing someone whose job is supposedly to help customers. I was ready to shop for a dozen or so "new-to-me" products but instead just cut my visit short. No reason to linger in a place that doesn't want my business. I then looked for a few more of my staple products and their inventory was out - basic items like stilla eyeliner, katvond, etc. Several end caps were out of product- and I mean they were empty. When I asked if it they had any additional inventory i got a response to the tune of "we are supposed to get inventory today but I'm not in operations so I don't know why we are out of so many things." Again, just zero empathy or customer service skills. I'm new to the LA area but I'm used to much better service from Sephora. I certainly don't recommend this location. Their attitude is that they have enough business and don't care if you return. I won't be returning. read more

All I have to say that experience Left a very nasty sour taste in my mouth it seems that the employees like to be sarcastic specially a girl name Natalie at the cash register. Prior to coming to the store I call to find out if they carry the product that I was looking for, on the phone Natalie was very rude and sarcastic asking I cannot hear you I cannot hear you I kept repeating myself plenty of times. bottom line is Customer service is the key it seems that Natalie likes to be sarcastic and Just plain rude. SEPHORA! You need to change your protocol or script to your employees or perhaps you need to start sending ghost shoppers to taste a little bit of sarcasm with some sprinkles of attitude. read more

This is my second visit to this location which is literally up the street from my house that opened not long ago. Obviously the sensitivity training because of the Sza incident did nothing, both visits I left because I was completely ignored by sales staff, while everyone else was helped around me. I even caught eyes with one of the sales staff at one point and smiled at her, and she scurried by. It's unfortunate, because they are located so nearby, and I came in ready to drop at least $100 or more in Nars makeup. Headed to the Nars counter at the mall instead. Disappointing. read more

I was reading the reviews and people were claiming that the staff wasn't helpful but for me it's quite the opposite.... i felt overwhelmed by being asked every second if I need help with something, even walking in I got a welcome and can I help you with something. This location is beautiful and very convenient because it's close to home but they need to balance out how many times a staff member is going to come up to customer... I truly wanted to find something for my rouge discount but I chose to just leave. As a customer I shop a lot at Sephora and this is my "me" time so I like to be left alone, browse and play with the products... if I have I question I will look for help but having a staff member come up to me literally every 10 seconds gives me anxiety. This location is very clean and the staff is very nice but they need to work on this issue.... balancing things out with attention! read more

Seems to be the ombudsman of Sephora and the only one with appropriate excellent customer service skills. He's ready at all times, this Anthony, he needs to be manager or general manager. I actually drove to multiple stores and wasn't getting the service I wanted.I ended up driving about an hour away from my house to this Sephora store and I was greeted right away, I was asked what I was in for and I got Rafa to help out. I didn't tell him this but I loved his cassette earring! He's personality is just amazing, made me feel at home and made the whole experience wonderful. Everyone here is always so nice and always so helpful. There sanitizing/covid game is strong. The cashiers sanitize there station after each customer. They keep track of how many come in. They talk to each person that comes in to see what they need and let's then know the rules of shopping there. I love that they still offer sampling and found a safe way to still offer the best to there customers. I just wish Sephora itself had a better reward system. Staff is very friendly and nice, they are ensuring health and safety of their customers. I waited in line for a bit, when I got close to go in, they took my temperature when I walked in, they made sure there was a limited amount of customers inside their stores. Usually I rate this locations customer service a 5 Star. Today, was awesome until I asked for a sample of the Supergoop sunscreen. Saturday June 29th at around 5:00pm I made a purchase of some products, and on my way out I remember about the brand "Supergoop" that my friend kept talking about. So I walked over to that specific section in the skin care where a lady (by the name that I cannot pronounce) stood right in front of me blocking that part of the Supergoop collection. She asked what did I need from there. I was actually just looking to see what products look familiar that my friend has. I felt like she was already being aggressive by blocking me off. After a minute, I just asked for a sample of the sunscreen and she handed me the box. I did not want to buy the box today. I already bought what I needed. Therefore, I asked if I can at least get a sample of it. She replied, "Oh, you don't want to buy it?" I said no, I just bought some things, I just would like a sample. So she walked away super weird. And by the time I walked over to her to get the sample. It was already in the bag and she said "here you go" have a good day! I noticed the sunscreen smeared, so I opened the sample bag and grabbed the sample container to see why it was spilled. There was no closing cap to the sample container. (No Sticker, No cap, Nothing written on the bag, Nothing of details, just a mess) I went back and asked her why did this not have a cap. She replied "oh after making so many samples a day, I must have not noticed"..... She did not make eye contact with me and was behaving oddly. Whoever this lady is, working at this Sephora, should probably be watched over. She kept smiling at me super weird, and to be honest....my gut feeling was not good from the moment she blocked me off from looking at the products. I'm just being 100% honest. I want to thank Dani who helped me today with concealer & foundation choices. Suggesting Huda (concealer) & Dior Airbrush (foundation in a can) was a game changer. Dani spent time not only putting this on me but explained to me in detail why I needed this. He was so personable plus just a super cool person. Sephora is very lucky to have him on their team. This is my favorite Sephora location to date. I have found many locations to have snotty, lazy, ill-equipped employees. This one doesn't. I've been here maybe six times and the only thing I can say with resolution is how rude the manager is. She seems to be there simply to Lord over you and the employees with a sense of arrogance that gives her fake smile away. Wow, really THE worst Sephora experience I've ever had. One girl helped me find something that I thought was out of stock in the cosmetic section and then paged another employee when I asked about advice on some skincare products. I hung out in the skincare area for about 15 minutes without receiving any help. The girl who was supposed to help me was helping another customer and acknowledged me with a, "I'll be with you in a sec, ok hun" but she never came back. I get it...maybe you guys are super busy. Absolutely love this Sephora! Everyone is always so helpful when I walk in! Unlike Westfield when I walk into the Sephora they try to sell me the most expensive item on the shelf. I was helped by Nonni he is so knowledgeable and I was quite impressed with his service he was right on point with all the products and was very honest and didn't try to sell to me to make a profit off of my sale. Someone named Anthony helped me a few weeks ago and he was also very knowledgeable as well. I think this will be my new Sephora sorry but cannot stand the one in the mall! Just my take. read more

Customer service in this location is awful! If your not white you won't be offered assistance. Its the nearest location to me but I've never been here. The only reason I came was because they had the color foundation I needed. Once I walked in nobody greeted me. I already had the foundation color and name brand I wanted, I walked around the store several times (not to mention I had my toddler in hand because it was an in and out thing) I saw several store reps walking around and none asked if I needed help. I heard one saying "can somebody help a customer over here" but it wasn't for me (of course it was for a white female customer). Once I found the brand I needed I grabbed the item + 1 more on my way to cashiers and left. Never going back yo this location! I haven't felt so eager to write a review!
