I was only in briefly for a quick coffee and Serdas gave me exactly what I was looking for. I liked the drip batch brewed cup that I got and noticed many options for a future visit when I have more time for a leisurely french press. The selection of fresh roasted coffee beans to take home was very nice and the vast assortment of gelato looked really good. I think a scoop of vanilla gelato in a cup of coffee would be quite nice. Maybe next time! This may be the best quality cup of coffee in Mobile! I definitely look forward to returning soon. read more

The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere. I had the green eggs and ham. The green is raw kale, scrambled eggs, honey ham and red quinoa. A little bland, but good for you. Hubby had the French toast bananas foster. He loved it loaded with syrup the bread was not soggy, but if you don't like extreme sweetness, this breakfast is not for you. We will come back and try other items. The service was slow so if your in a hurry don't bother coming in. Great family place and great place for a date. Coffees are amazing from different countries. Serda's is one of my favorite places to get coffee! It has a pretty chill, community oriented atmosphere. I would say the drinks are a tad pricey, but nothing too crazy. There's also a lot of variety on the menu and ways to get your drink. I got one of their Ethiopian coffees with the coffee press and it was pretty good! They also have trivia on (don't quote me) Thursday's, which is always fun. The WiFi is pretty good too, no complaints. read more

We came here for affogato which is epresso and gelato and it tastes amazing. This coffee shop is cozy but it feels large. There are multiple seating options which is more than likely why it seems bigger than it is. I am a fan of excellent shops and venues with ample seating like this coffee shop has. This was a true local favorite and it was cool to see corporate workers, police officers, musicians, and college students make a stop for their morning coffee. To give it more of that local vibe, paintings by local artists were for sale on the walls. Comfortable, cozy, cool coffeehouse atmosphere. In addition to the coffee selection, there were also baked items, bagels, and heartier sandwich choices available. There were many frozen/blended coffee drinks offered (if you're looking for something like a Starbucks Frappuccino) - our favorite was the mint mocha! If you follow them on Instagram , you can access the "secret menu" which i think is a fun way to connect on social media. My favorite part of this place was a helpful sign next to the coffee menu that explains exactly what makes up all those different kinds of coffee like cappuccino vs latte vs macchiato vs cafe au lait, all with pictures to show how much espresso, foam, milk, or coffee is in each (picture included here). The two young ladies we interacted with were very friendly. My husband had the iced chai tea and I got a caramel iced latte. Neither tasted overly sweet. Definitely recommend the cappuccino chocolate muffins which were soft and not dry. We ate one in the store and ended up back in line for another. The coffee was wonderful. Unfortunately the experience was completely ruined by an incredibly rude server. I was Trying to enjoy the French press with two varieties and asked for some half and half to have at my table. That way I could have small amounts of each coffee to compare back and forth. She refused this request for a small cup of cream then said to take the cream to my table. A minute latter she came to the table and snarled at us for taking the cream. I've been here twice now and I would recommend it. I got iced coffee to go and it was tasty and strong enough (but not too strong). I also got a latte and a home made blueberry scone for breakfast. This lovely spot is right in the heart of downtown near the Mobile Convention Center. Its Spooky Season, so they have Halloween specialty drinks and decor to give it a fun vibe. I give this place 5 stars because of the value of their menu, prices, food and expansive drink options including a mini bar (which I didn't partake of if my wife reads this) ;) .... The 1st time I went here I ordered an Americano iced and it was not very good. Their espresso seemed a bit weak and lacking that bold full smooth flavor. I decide to give them a second chance and go back a second time and just ordered coffee. The coffee I ordered was much better however I ordered the Italian roast and it did not taste like a typical Italian roast coffee. It tasted more like a French blend. Perhaps they need to check their beans before labeling them? Their location could be more perfect. It is very convenient to the downtown area. read more

Serda's is a great little coffee shop/bistro with a lot of things that go on there. They have live music throughout the month, a yoga class, and a bunch of other stuff. Their wraps and smoothies were pretty good. I'm not that big of a coffee fan, but it did smell good ;-). They did have a huge variety of coffees and flavorings. This restaurant is close to a number of the conference hotels in Mobile, and offers a well priced alternative to the over priced food the hotels provide. The only drawback is that the space is a little cramped there, but the service is good, and the food is too. read more

Ooh! I love this place!! Came here last Wednesday for a quick coffee break and to grab a bite. Ordered the Everthing breakfast bagel with sausage egg and cheese. So yummy! The bagel tasted so fresh and soft! My drink of choice was a Coconut Almond Iced Mocha. It was a teensy but healthy tasting but, I did enjoy it immensely! We stay at the same hotel every other year, and Serda's is right around the corner. The coffee (latte's and macchiato, specifically) is always fabulous! They have sugar-free options, and the prices are great; significantly less than our usual lame Starbucks! Very friendly service and nice atmosphere. Serda's is one of downtown Mobile's only coffee shops so I frequently stop in for a latte or americano. Their iced coffee with coffee cubes is especially delicious. They also have a bar if you prefer to have a glass of wine or beer. My favorite thing about Serda's is the location, the vibrant atmosphere and support of local artists. The friendly baristas are very helpful and fun. You can buy gelato and other desserts as well but I really only come for the coffee. The blueberry muffins are pretty tasty. We're in from Texas for a expo at the Convention Center, and we stopped by last night before a movie at the Crescent Theater right up the street (another great place by the way). I got a caramel machiatto and my husband got a hot chocolate. Both were wonderful and very reasonably priced. So while my husband is at the expo today, I stopped in here again to get some work done on my laptop. I got another caramel machiatto and a salmon bagel. Both were delicious! Serda's is a cute, local, and well put-together coffee house/cafe/gelato spot in downtown Mobile right off of Dauphin Street. No more than 3 in each party could sit inside but that will obviously change as we move out of the pandemic. The latte I had (which was a Starbucks Grande was only $4) was very tasteful and the food I tried from the rest of my party was very fresh and clean as well. There was a line when we walked in with a party of 9 and there were only 2 people working but we still got our drinks within 6-7 minutes. Very impressive.
