Hidden gem. A real hole in the wall, this place is pretty good. Not the best of anything Iv ever had but it's good, a nice meal. Bread and butter when you sit down the bread is very good, hard outside really fluffy and soft inside. Pasta was great sauce had great flavor, my only negative was I like my chicken cutlets very thin and these are a bit thick, again the sauce was very good. Will definitely be back here for dinner service was excellent. Pro Tip, go on Groupon you can get a gift card for 30$ and get 50$ worth of food

My father decided on Italian Food last minute this past Father's Day, so we ended up at Sergio's. Getting a reservation for 7 adults and a baby was pretty easy. The restaurant seems small from the outside but they've got a decent amount of space. The interior is dimly lit and I think describing it as 'intimate' is accurate. The dishes aren't family style but I ended up trying everyone's food anyway. Everything was delicious but my favorites were the carbonara and the mushroom ravioli. My dad loves linguini with clam sauce and he said Sergio's is really good. He usually doesn't finish what he orders, but this time he cleaned his plate. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and it was solid, but not amazing. After tasting everyone else's dishes I'd probably go for a different dish next time I come back. Service is friendly and quick. I'll be back.

Another delicious meal as I was taken here by a friend for my birthday. We shared the burrata appetizer which was a perfect amount for us along with an entrée. We both had Sergio's mushroom ravioli with the outstanding vodka sauce. The raviolis are large and filling. Amazing service and an incredible atmosphere.

Nice ambiance. More upscale classic. Service very good. Went on Xmas Eve. They had a special Xmas Eve only menu. Drawing upon a select few of their offerings. Not the standard menu. Was disappointed by the limited offerings. While most dishes were okay, mine was chicken Adriana. At first was fine until started eating second chicken thigh, it was undercooked. Stated it to server but he basically brushed it off as if I was finished. It was not worth eating for risk of undercook poultry. Unfortunately they did not care to ask further about the undercooked portion. So a bit disappointed in their concern or follow-up to make good on it. Made the visit feel like I won't be trying again.

This charming brunch spot is an absolute steal at just $12 for a BYOB buffet! They serve brunch from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM and switch to dinner service from 5:00-10:00 My mom and I were warmly greeted by Luis and his wife they were incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The space is wonderful: quiet, spacious, and really comfortable. The buffet offers great variety and plenty of fresh options. There's a self-serve waffle maker (the waffles come out hot and delicious), and they have fresh-squeezed orange juice that's a nice touch. Everything on the à la carte menu is prepared fresh and hot as well. The only minor note is that some buffet items can cool down toward the end when the chafing dishes run low, so arriving earlier helps get the freshest selections. That said, you can always get hot waffles made to order right away! Highly recommend this affordable, friendly spot perfect for a relaxed, satisfying brunch.

We love this place. But another restaurant we suggested to friends that didn't end up liking. We loved everything. Feels like an old mob spot. Went Christmas Eve and got a prefix menu that was very good. Need to try on regular night again.

I chose Sergio's for my boyfriend's birthday because I always loved the Clifton location. Everyting was amazing!! He didn't love the chicken marsala and the owner actually noticed, came over and replaced it free...

A 3 for average. I was so bored with everything You will pay an extra $10 if you want to share your food with a friend. Absolutely ridiculous. The mushroom ravioli with pesto was good. Not great but good. Pasta was cooked very well. 3.5/5 The penne vodka. I've had better. Would never get this again. I want to be wowed. This was not doing it for me. Way too much sauce. 3/5 Chocolate vanilla hazelnut. It had a wafer in the middle so it was crunchy. I don't know. I just did not like it. It tried so hard to taste good but the flavors seem conflicting. 2/5

Ask the Community - Sergio's Missione

Is there any special deals for take out? Is the whole menu available?

I thought there was a sign outside advertising a specific "specials" night? Maybe a deal on a Tuesday or something?

They have many specials each night but they are pricey. Not "specials" as far as pricing. I never saw a sign outside. I'm going back tomorrow and next week. 👌

Is restaurant spacious enough for a party of 13? Is there a parking lot to park the car?

There is a parking lot behind the restaurant by the bank drive thru. And yes they have plenty of room for a party of 13, two rooms downstairs and one room upstairs.

When I was in there, I saw the stuffed bread. After a bit of a conversation about what was in them I opted to get two of them one with broccoli Rabe And one with mixed vegetable vegetables. Boy were we both unhappy with what we got. My boyfriend's father found his braciole and sauce to be so salty it was inedible. He likes food and he is rarely disappointed in an Italian meal. But he said it was so bad that he couldn't even eat it. He ended up throwing it away. I was equally disappointed. Maybe more so. There was no way that vegetable roll was made that day let alone any sooner than two days before. It was so stale. It was hard as a rock. And I hadn't even heated it up. I cut into it right after I brought it home. It also tasted stale. I ended up throwing it away too. Broccoli Rabe roll was a tad better. It wasn't hard as a rock. But it wasn't fresh either. It tasted meh. The only thing I was happy with are the prepackaged taralli. They were imported and were lovely. Go there for the prepackaged imported food products. Don't waste your money on the dicey homemade food experience.

Nestled in an old world-like, half Sicilian half Albanian neighborhood, right across from the Catholic Church of Our Lady of Montevergine, the entire experience took us pleasantly back in time ... salumeria along the wall, aged provolone hanging from rope, and just about every handmade delicacy you could imagine.....and some new ones we hadn't seen before... Then there's .... the bread..... the bread.... Nowhere in America is there bread like this. This is the real deal (NOT the chain supermarkets--you know who you are) that offer supposedly "Italian" or "French" bread with marshmallow softness attributed to all the preservatives and polysorbate 80. No Signore, this bread contains all the goodness of that crispy crunchy exterior with pure angelic cloud interior that melts in your mouth! Bread this good can be eaten as dessert... (if there aren't any cannolis around).... Yeah they got those here too... We couldn't decide, and we were running late so we ended up grabbing a loaf of semolina bread just in from the oven and a container of Sicilian olives (with pits! Don't waste my time with pitted olives that taste like salted cardboard). Could say more but why? Veni e guarda (look and see for yourself)... Highly recommended. We'll be back! Ce' vediamo dopo.

Mr. Anzalone…read more(who turns 70 in June of 2025!) and Vitamia (nipping at his heels with about 60 years of being in the biz). I've made my way here now a few times and for whatever reason - Siri will only get me to the general area but just won't 'accept' Vitamia's specific/actual address. (I know I've 'arrived' when I see the crisscrossing of American and Italian flags at the start-and-end of the blocks denoting a very little Little Italy portion of the town.) And don't get me started on how jacked the entire length of Harrison Avenue is - causing my poor car's suspension and axle to suffer - or how much gas I usually waste when continually circling the block looking for a (legal) parking spot. Crankiness aside... for a small 'basic' deli they sure do pack a punch. An incredible selection of legit (crunchy) breads, a slew of prepared platters and meals in the refrigerated cases, all sorts of goodies hanging from hooks and then there's the freezer with an absurd amount of specialty ravioli, tortellini, tortelloni, mezzelune, cappelletti, gigante, agnolotti, fagottini... Two guys behind the counter (casually speaking Italian to each other) are able to keep up with all the foot traffic (that never seems to let up) and a few guys manning the ovens in the back that are continually refilling the metal bins by the cash register. (With 800 days of Duolingo under my belt I was tempted to try, "È delizioso. Mi dai la ricetta?" when leaving but flaked out and just went with, "Grazie mille!" which... fell flat.) Parking (as mentioned before) stinks. For every item I've tried and loved (stuffed breads, stuffed pastas) there's been a few that were major disappointments, unfortunately. Their pricing is a tad too rough on my wallet. On a prior visit I dropped over $80 and I made a mental not to not do that again. Most recent visit? Over $100. So, yeah... that's not good. (And just in case you give a hoot - Glenn Anzalone is better known by his stage name of 'Danzig'. Now go and crank some early Misfits songs and thank me later!)

The disappointing part of the lunch was the mediocre service. Even though I mentioned it was a birthday celebration in the reservation, no one bothered to wish or ask us if we were celebrating anything. Our server only had to attend our table, yet he only came by three times, once to ask us about water, then to take our order, and once after our appetizers were served. Half of the time he invisible and rest of the time he was just hanging out by the register area stairs, chit chatting with other staff members. We refilled our own water and had to grab other stuff members to get extra plates and utensils. I was super annoyed to pay premium price only to experience a diner like service.
