Very disappointing experience. Every time I go, they tell me to make an appointment. When I come as a walk-in, they refuse service and ask me to book. But even after making an appointment, when I arrive at my scheduled time, they tell me to come back another day. I always buy service packages from them, but it feels like they take advantage of that. They say it will take 3 hours, knowing I cannot go anywhere else because I've already paid for the package. This is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. If you sell packages, you should respect customers' time and appointments. read more

Got a flat tire on my telluride and my boyfriend took my tire in and they found the nail and fixed it up free of charge. The next day his Ford Raptor was leaking oil so took it in and they were able to beat the dealership price and get it in same day. Great work! Great experience! read more

Unfortunately, Service Street has been my mechanic since 2020 until very recently. After originally coming in for an oil change, I ended up returning 3X, waiting in their shop for over 7 hours over the course of a week, and spending $500 on upsold work. I have likely overspent several thousand dollars on repairs here. I came in with no leaks, squeaks, issues, or concerns outside of needing my oil change, and was presented with three separate upsells to have my brake pads, rotors, and oil pressure sender replaced for an additional total of $1,400. I denied all additional repairs. After leaving, oil leaked profusely from my car overnight. I have since taken my car to a reputable mechanic, and low and behold, the oil pressure sender Service Street recommended I repair while my car was in their bay was conveniently broken. The repair for that part completed within the hour for less than $200 by the second mechanic. Additionally, while I waited in the lobby for several hours on my third visit, three other women who also came in for only an oil change were also coincidentally presented with estimates to replace their brake pads and rotors for between $1,000 and $1,900. The Service Street team will sell you work you do not need or cause the issue themselves if you do not immediately fold. They are especially predatory toward women, elderly, and uneducated customers. There is no reason an oil change should take several hours while employees are killing time without work. Politely put, avoid this franchise at all costs and take your business literally anywhere else. It takes some serious lack of integrity and pride to work at a place like this. read more

I have had several great experiences with this garage! They guarantee their work and hold themselves to it! They updated me the entire way instead of moving forward with repairs and trying to charge me for it later. After I settled my bill and drove away my check engine light came back on but they fixed the problem with no additional charges and no questions asked. I dealt with Frank who was really patient and kind the whole time. Ashton was my mechanic and he did a good quality job and was thorough and professional. They saw us coming. A homeless kid who spent his tax refund on a car. A 71-year-old grandmother who wanted to help him. First time in, we paid $2,086.36 with the promise that the car would get him around until he had time to get more work done on it. The car broke down in two days! Too far for us to pay for a tow so we were told that we could tow it to the Service Street in Aurora. We did. Another $1,725.78 was paid to fix it. Broke down again. Service Street in Thornton had it towed to them. Now they are saying $1,941.56. Grandmother has no more money and they will probably keep the car because we can't pay to fix it. We have spent almost $4,000 for NOTHING. Do not go here. They are crooks. read more

Took my car in July 2022 to replace the battery. September 19, 2024 my battery died. Took it to Brakes Plus and they said the last battery that was put in was wrong for my car. They said a battery should last at least 4-5 years. This company is absolutely horrible. Not only have I had a bad experience, I know of at least three other friends who have experienced horrible service. Do not use them. You will regret it. Although the work was done in a timely matter, we brought our vehicle here for a simple battery change. the car had to be towed by triple A to the shop so we could not just take it somewhere to get a battery installed and put in for free as most auto parts stores do. I understand having to pay for the service but we were charged over $350 for a simple battery change and installation claiming the battery was $280. i do not recommend this shop unless you want to be overcharged. read more

Dropped off my truck for an oil change just to check the dash cams and find out that the technician thought it would be okay to take it for a joyride and road rage at people! Isn't that amazing... also all but two of their employees smoke weed and work on peoples vehicles which was admitted by two of the technicians in my truck. My car trunk door on my Nissan had automatically shut on my coat, causing the door to stick close. I stopped in the shop, hoping that someone could help me and Bill came to the rescue! Bill was so kind to stop and help me on his way out for the day. he had to climb into the back of my car, remove some pieces in my cramped trunk and he soon figured out how to open my trunk door as mechanics magically do! I hope you hit all green lights on your way home Bill! upon walking into the shop, everyone was also very kind, accommodating and willing to help without having an appointment. DO NOT GO HERE!!! They steal from their customers and are completely dishonest! We went to get our oil changed and noticed when we got home that one of our insulated cups was missing. We called the shop multiple times to see if they had it and they said no. We then had to go back because oil was leaking out of our car due to a mistake they made with the oil change. We now have oil stains in our driveway and garage due to this. Upon returning for them to fix it, we noticed our cup on THEIR SERVICE DESK BEING USED BY AN EMPLOYEE!!! After they fixed their mistake with the oil change, we then asked for our cup back in which one of the employees stated "oh we were under the impression that it was David's." It is a very specific cup with specific detailing so clearly it was ours. They then gave it back to us half full with coffee. I took a car in for an inspection they told my engine and transmission were leaking I asked them to provide pictures of it leaking they weren't able to send me any. they told me my transmission was going out I asked them how come straight up said to my face I've been doing this for a while I know without showing any signs of the transmission being bad. they tried to charger me over $2,000.00 for 2 control arms that cost $120.00 dollars at the dealer. save your money go to a trusted area. read more

I was quoted 230.00 to replace the transmission filter and fluid in my 2014 Chevy silverado. when I picked up my truck I was told that there was a leak in the transmission pan gasket, I asked why when they just changed the filter. I was told they had not changed the filter. confused I asked why because I had specifically ask for that service. I was told that it was to late in the day so I should bring it back in the morning, I brought it back and then I was told that it would cost me another $650.00 to change a $35.00 part. Save yourself the headache. This is by far one of the most unprofessional locations I have ever dealt with. I brought my car here to get repaired and there have been no updates made other than me calling to ask and every time they quote me a couple days later than what they originally told me that the car would be finished. This has resulted in thousands of dollars of rental so far and they're still not finished with my car. They are very dismissive and lack a lot of common sense. When I called for updates on the car asking when it would be finished, they informed me that the parts of the car got sent to the wrong location. Which would result in another four days without my car. When expressing my frustration with their poor organizational skills, they merely suggested that I can come pick up the car and drive it as it's even though it is not operable and safe to drive as it's currently missing a seatbelt. This was their way of "amending the situation". They're dishonest and terrible at communication. It's best to take your business elsewhere to people who care about helping you. read more

AVOID SERVICE STREET AT ALL COSTS. I went to get an oil change, they never changed it and just shut off the light. This Service Street is full of know-it-all men who will pull the wool over your eyes to make a quick buck, and their regional manager is just as useless as they are. I got an oil change at the end of August and by the first week in November, my truck was broken down in the middle of a busy road because there was NO OIL IN THE TANK. Service Street replaced the oil filter, but never actually filled my tank back up with oil in hopes that I would run my truck into the ground, cause friction, and have to come back and pay even more money out of pocket for them to fix something that never should have been broken in the first place. I had another mechanic check my oil tank and the dip stick was BONE DRY. I called their customer service line and their regional manager spoke down to me as if I wasn't even another human being. I was told that this was my fault because I didn't read over the invoice that said I had an oil leak, which I was NEVER told about. I then was told about the different level of oil leaks and he said it wasn't a bad enough leak to be leaving puddles of oil on the ground, so then HOW am I out of oil already if the leak wasn't bad enough to be burning through the amount of oil my tank was supposed to have. When asked this question, the regional manager started questioning me about how much oil I put in my tank and when I said I was adding more today, he proceeded to question me about needing more as if to prove that I shouldn't need that much already and that my oil leak was severely bad. I need to add more oil because I broke down at night and couldn't get to the store, so I used what I had and then proceeded to get more today. At that point, I was done talking to an arrogant man and hung up the phone because clearly it was going nowhere as he could not admit to his horrible workers scamming me. I should have known better to go here when my sister went and two weeks later, she found out her car oil was never changed. It's a shame I believed they would actually help me. during cross country trip, engine light came on in Columbia MO. Dealer had not time to fix, but ran diagnostic and determined air sensor. Said to check filter and air hose first-most common problem. Took to Service Street, Lioness Parker Co, Called and said they need to run diagnostics $200. Then called and said they need to reprogram - $100. Picked up car after they said fixed and light came on. Took back, they kept two days and said the air filter was put in backwards. This was by Valvoline quick change in Indianapolis. Charged me $50 for a new filter. I paid $350 for a filter. They are either incompetent, unethical or just wanted to cover payroll for the day. They either disregarded my talk that emphasized what dealer said or didn't know enough to check first. Just don't go there under any circumstances. $350 for a $12 air filter. Or maybe nothing as it could have been just turned around. read more

They said they looked at it,started my van 30 time and it always started but then gave me a list of things that needed repair to keep it running. So I agreed to the work. After 2 other shops could not find the problem with my truck and giving me the run around, the team at Service Street in Thornton not only found the problem, and fixed it, they did it in 1 day! These guys, the entire team, are awesome. They are fast, knowledgeable, and efficient in finding and fixing the problem. I have spent a fortune getting my truck on the road and the 4 wheel drive was a constant problem. The team at Service Street found the problem and got it fixed when the other shops couldn't. Now the 4 wheel drive works perfectly and my truck is the best it has been since I purchased it. Thanks to the team at Service Street the most recent snow storm was no challenge for my truck as the 4wd plowed right through snow and ice. Thanks to the this team I was able to get my travels accomplished without having to worry about the 4wd. One other recommendation is get their oil change special! Saves people a lot of money! They have a wonderful team over here! I slid on some ice and slammed into the curb. The front wheel was completely dislocated from the axel. There were several parts that needed to be replaced and my insurance did not cover anything. These guys worked extra to find parts at a discounted price in order to help cut the cost by about 40% since this was coming out of pocket. And on top of that, they were able to get the car back to me in less than a week! Just such amazing service overall and I will continue to bring my car to them for all future repairs. Will never be back ! Had my car dropped of by a tow truck. The next afternoon I was told it needed a new battery and alternator. Because they were " special" Jaguar parts the cost was going to be $1900 . Since the car was completely dead I felt I had little choice. After picking up the car I discovered it was not anything " special" about the parts at all - it was a Duralast battery that Auto Zone sells retail at $229 ( which happens to be right next door) I was charged $451 for the battery alone . We did a pre-purchase vehicle inspection with Service Street and we're incredibly impressed with their customer service and expertise. They helped check and review the entire vehicle. We particularly wanted to double check the motor mounts and shocks of the car we were purchasing and they happily took an extra look. They also provided us with a very fair quote with some of the potential repairs and gave us an update about the battery, tire, and brake life. Overall, a really great and quality experience. They completed a pre-purchase inspection on my car last week for $210. There were a few things wrong with my used car, and said I'd need to pay another $80-$100 for diagnostics. For $210 the diagnostic should be included, I should know exactly what the problem is, what parts are needed and how much parts/labor should be to fix it. read more

I went here for a brake job, and of course had to pay top price for their work, which they insisted must include new rotors. Several days later we took a ride through Guallala Pass, out of Georgetown, and the brakes heated up wildly, causing smoke and a bad odor, and three or four times we had to pull over and let the brakes rest a while before continuing, at increasingly slow and very cautious rates of speed. Our fun outing was ruined. I went to the shop a day or two later and attempted to explain the experience, but they immediately became defensive and--without double-checking--said their work was done perfectly and that if there was a problem, it certainly wasn't their fault. I'm afraid they really had an attitude, and eventually, that became the problem, as the brakes seemed to settle in better a few weeks later. All I had asked was that they double check their work. If I wasn't to drive into the hills for a while, no one ever suggested that. It still seems tome like something was to thin, given the heat-up...but I'm no mechanic. In all they were rude and reluctant to double-check their "perfect" work. I have to recommend against this place. read more

Every time I take vehicle in for something minor they find more things and prices over $1500. Last time was a frayed brake cable they recommended be replaced. Drove vehicle home and emergency brake lever pulled out and they refused to fix it under their warranty. Said it was wear and tear but both are connected and wasn't a problem until they replaced the cable for $500. They will fix the lever for another $500! Lost my business read more
