Just adding on here from previous reviews - we tried the big nacho (new item from Session), it was very strange. It was basically a giant cracker/tostada with toppings? I wouldn't get it again. The flautas are always a hit, we enjoy those. We also tried the chicken fajita quesadilla - that was very good! I was impressed with the portion size and the filling inside. Also liked that it came with sour cream and guac

Consistent decent tacos. They're not mind blowing like some other fusion tacos, but if you're close and in the mood for such things, it's worth having a meal here.

It's still just Mission Taco. Same super family restaurant or great place to meet a large or small group of friends or co-workers. We love the attached arcade! The kids have something to do while waiting for food or when the "I'm bored" syndrome kicks in. Service was attentive and easy going. Food was tasty. Queso was great. They also have a decent Happy Hour!

Our server overall provided our table great service. Weather this evening was cool and relaxing which is why we chose this place because Teddy our dog is allowed in the outdoor patio. Please continue to offer the NA beverages. Tried the NA Paloma and would order that again. Chips and salsa appetizer worked well for our table & it would be helpful if on the menu it noted this appetizer did allow chip refill since we had extra salsa. We asked our server for additional chips and we were able to enjoy with remaining salsa. One thing we were not too thrilled about is the way the tacos are served to the table. The taco holders are a great idea but would be better if each customer got their own taco holders / served each customer their tacos in separate plates / dishes because it is easy to forget certain taco types when all placed in one to two ala carte taco holders and the tacos do not have labels. We appreciate the server and the other team members knowing the names of the tacos when bringing the order but afterwards we had to guess on a few of tacos in the middle of our meal because because certain tacos looked similar. We plan to return and hope there is a less confusing way tacos can be served to each table in the future, especially when there is more than two customers in a party.

I live in San Diego, this is awful. The green salsa was so bad, the guac was under seasoned, the veggie burrito and taco was just fine. I'd never come back

I ordered lunch take out of crab taquitos and guac and chips. Very tasty. The orders were bigger than expected, so the price was okay (felt high initially). Order was ready when required. Didn't eat in restaurant but it's usually a great experience. Kudos to MT for their support of GSM event.

We came back here again to use our leftover MTJ tokens. It was packed with kids and families inside the arcade room and the restaurant around dinner time on a thursday. We decided to wait to see if it gets less busy. So we ordered some appetizers: Empanada and Carne Asada fries. They were short staffed. It took 1h to get our food. Our waitress explained us the situation and apologized. She was very nice. And they didn't charge us! This is a really good customer care. Ofcourse we left tip for this great service! Pinball machines were all good in shape today and we enjoyed our time here.

I have always been a fan of Mission Taco (I don't care what they call it now). Our waitress was really great, i have to get better about names. Stressed it seemed but she had a lot of awful kids in her section. She made a mistake with our chips and queso, but wholly admitted it and was like well i just totally made that up. Which I genuinely appreciated the human nature of it. The food was great as usual. We got the dessert empandas to go and they were amazing! The chocolate that comes with it... OMG! I will say for this location; beware of the Kirkwood parents though. Kids running all over the place and carrying on so loud we moved tables. The parents act like "well they are just kids and everyone should understand". Well I have a kid as well and she does not and will not act these kids. Just to mention, it was multiple families of awful kids. This last part is absolutely a petty jab at the clientele and not the business.

Came for dinner with 6 and made a reservation and able to get seated early, we had a pitcher of margarita, queso, chips and salsa, piggy and south beach burritos, cheese and chicken quesadillas, carne asada tacos, hot Nashville chicken tacos and carnitas tacos. Service was friendly and nice. Everything tasted good, big space with plenty of seating at bar, inside and out. Arcade area next door. Although the kids didn't want to play.

Excellent Food, great service. Located in Kirkwood downtown place. It was noisy just like any other good Mexican restaurant on a Saturday evening. We ordered chips and salsa for the table -- tons of fresh chips and medium & hot salsa. Satisfying indeed ! Had only one option for chicken burrito - South Beach - it was bland and just okish. Ordered assorted tacos - grilled chicken, portobello, hot fried chicken, Baja fish. All were great but portobello was my favorite and Baja fish least favorite.

Delicious! One of my favorite places for tacos, but my first time visiting the Kirkwood location. This location has a arcade room which makes it unique from other Mission Tacos in STL. Service was very friendly and our food came out surprisingly fast for a Saturday afternoon. We ordered the chips and queso con chorizo and a variety of tacos. My only complaint is that the food wasn't really warm at all (maybe it's not supposed to be?) even though it came out so quickly, but it really didn't negatively impact the flavor or my experience. I've gone to Mission Taco several times over the years and would highly recommend!

The tacos were so good and obviously the guacamole was incredible. We also got n/a margaritas and they tasted just like the real thing! From the bartenders to our server, everyone was so kind and attentive. We sat outside and it was a great night for it. Their happy hour deals are also so good!

Walking up to the entry gives you vacation vibes from The decor, tropical plants and modern aesthetics. Service was 10/10. All the staff we encountered were so friendly. They came by to check on us, and even the owner/manager came out to check in and make sure everything was good. The tacos were absolutely delicious, seasoned well and every ingredient was FRESH. I ordered the Galveston, and the Baja, and my mom ordered the del Rio and the Biloxi, and we shared a trifecta appetiser.. The queso and guacamole and salsa were some of the best ones I've had. The portions are plentiful. Definitely give them a try. They add something new to the menu every so often, and They offer brunch as well.

This is a small, limited menu, authentic Mexican spot. They have lots of taco options, and a few other dishes to offer as well--including one of my favorites, flautas! They have lots of beverage options including jarritos, a few Mexican beers, and a couple of cocktails. I also appreciated that they have a few house-made salsa options that really pack a punch. My date ordered a few street tacos with birria shredded beef. I unfortunately didn't try them, but they looked fabulous and the taste of consomé I took was spot on. I almost never pass up flautas if they're on the menu, so it was on an obvious choice. The chicken was flavorful and juicy, in the most perfectly crisp fried tortilla. They had the perfect amount of toppings including crema, tomatoes, queso fresco, and lettuce. Definitely some of my favorite flautas in STL. Perhaps my only complaint was that the chips and salsa I also got for $4.50 was pretty small, considering. I will say, though, that the salsa was divine--definitely has a good amount of heat, but for me it was perfect. I'll be back to try some street tacos very soon!

Amigos Cantina might be the place to go in Kirkwood, which strikes me as the kind of place where the spice level is often inquired about. I'm not even sure if there's a Taco Bell nearby. I did a five-mile run before I sat down to eat, but it was mostly through residential areas. I kept the volume at a reasonable level, out of respect. I never actually went into the restaurant. A member of our group went in and requested a table for like 12, but then we just ended up sitting at the tables out front, on the sidewalk. We were considering those tables anyway, as connoisseurs of al fresco dining, but someone said there was also a patio out back. If the interior is anything like the sidewalk out front, I'm sure it's just lovely. The signage reminds me of the branding on one of those taco kits you get at the grocery store. I consulted Copilot while I was at work, doing desk calisthenics, getting myself pumped up. You may recall that I also sought its counsel before a trip to a Jersey Mike's a while back. (If they've yet to release a version of it in Italy, they might consider calling it Consigliere.) Specifically, I asked it the best thing to order. It recommended a few entrees featuring the shrimp, which must be highly regarded, and a certain kind of margarita. I can't remember which margarita it was, and I didn't end up ordering it. Separately, I saw where someone posted a picture of a flight of margaritas, and I knew I just had to have that. I've been obsessed with flights of drinks since I saw one was available at a brewery I recently visited. I didn't get one, and I've been kicking myself ever since. It might be my life's greatest regret. With the flight, you get to pick four of six available flavors. I got the peach, amaretto, raspberry and pomegranate, and I know one of the other available flavors was orange. It comes in its own custom tray, designed to be carried without being spilled. Each one is a decent-size drink, but they're not especially stiff. Ayo! As you might suspect, given the (overall) amount of alcohol you get, it's not exactly top shelf. But it's not the Kool-Aid-tasting swill that comes from a dispenser either. Of the four I got, I preferred the peach and raspberry to the amaretto and pomegranate. I went with Cilantro Lime Shrimp, which *was* in fact one of the recommendations from my trusty copilot. It was great! It's served over rice, so it kinda soaks up the liquid from the shrimp, but without becoming overly soupy. They obviously make these all the time and have gotten it down to a science. They fan out the shrimp on the plate so it seems like they've given you more than they have, but it's still a pretty decent amount, for a dish that's not that expensive. It's garnished with fajita-like peppers and a surprisingly piquant, erm, pico. The lime really sets it off. It's served with tortillas, and I packed each one with a bit of rice in addition to shrimp, peppers and what have you. It made for a surprisingly hearty meal, like one of those cans of soup that's advertised primarily to men. If, for some reason, I find myself in the area again, and I'm in need of a burrito, I'll be back, and hopefully I'll take a look inside and explore the menu further.
