I decided to take my fiancé to Settle Luna for his birthday. The place was pretty packed when we arrived. There was an open table so we were seated right away. It was a small Restaurant, therefore the minor decor was suffice. I liked the music and the dim lighting of the place. Walking in we had pretty low expectation on the place since we are not huge fans of Italian food. Yet we decide to try this place out due to the high reviews. Our waitress was extremely nice and told us about the drink specials and specials of the day. After ordering, the food was brought out to us within a reasonable time. Both our entrees were amazing. It really hit the spot. The pasta was very flavorful with every bite and pizza was to die for. The portion size was just perfect as well. After dinner, we decided to try the tiramisu but was disappointed. It looked like pudding and did not taste as good. Our overall experience to this place was outstanding. The price was right for the food but the drinks were a bit expensive. I will definitely come back to his place to explore different things in the menu. read more

Great service and delicious food. Highlight of my meal was a mozzarella al forno, wrapped in prosciutto. Also had a crab salad which paired very well with a glass of sauvignon blanc. For entree I had agnolotti filled with wild boar and mushrooms which was delicious. Finished my meal with tiramisu, cappuccino, and a Last Word cocktail. I don't even know where to begin. This establishment brands itself as classy; absolutely not! We went with a large party, had made reservations, when we got there, we were told there wasn't a confirmation; there was! When approaching the owner, I was surprised at his rude and sarcastic attitude. Our orders were taken and we waited literally over 1 1/2 for our food. Not one person came to our tables to see if we needed anything while we waited. When we got our food, I was even more appalled. They were giving the wrong meals to our party, passing the plates around, taking them back and and forth. I found that extremely gross. The owner, walking around drinking wine and not once inquiring if we were good, as we waited and waited and he continued to pass our table going back and forth as if we were not there! Now to the food; overpriced, very small portions and not great , or even good by any means. They brand themselves as rustic Italian, um, no. We dine often, we eat at many restaurants in the valley. We also bring very important and influential people, and I can say with certainty this is not a restaurant I would take anyone I wanted to impress. From the owner to his staff, please understand that customer service matters. The food is not that great that you can afford to act this way. If you continue to treat your customers in the haughty manner that you do, soon enough you may not have a business. The best and most thriving businesses are all about great customer service, delicious food and an atmosphere worth returning to, as well as staff that serve as if they enjoy what they are doing. I ate here for the first time last night and it was fantastic. We didn't have reservations but they got us right in... however I would recommend making them during peak dinner hours as it's a quaint space. The wine list was quite expansive with lots of options for either a bottle or by the glass. We ordered the 2 appetizers on special... risotto balls and roasted artichokes. They were the best risotto balls I've ever had! For our meals, I ordered the Fettuccine alla panna with chargrilled shrimp and my friend had the Norweigian salmon. We were both pleased with our entrees. Finished with the cheesecake which was incredible! Our waitress was friendly, precise, and quick to offer refills. First time to the Lehigh Valley and if I am ever back I will make sure that I head back to Sette Luna. We started our meal with the calamari which was perfectly prepared in a spicy marinara sauce. Two of us had a luna salad and one had a Caesar salad, both substantial in size and wonderful. We finished with a couple of pizzas, Terry's Bianca and the marinara. This place was recommended by a friend and it was good. The white bean Rosemary soup was tasty but the portion was kinda small. For $2 I got some bread to go with it--bread was fantastic, drizzled with olive oil and herbs. Entree was shrimp & risotto. Shrimp were 5 star but the risotto was starchy and thick, flavor was good though. Service was slow but probably because a large table came in. This maybe my new favorite Italian restaurant in the Lehigh Valley. Everything I have eaten here in two visits has been excellent. I started with a Cesar salad. It was crisp, fresh, and full of Cesar flavor. I'm particular with Cesar: I would prefer more Lemmon and more anchovies, but for the masses, it works just fine. For an entree I had the wild boar ravioli with crispy panchetta in a Demi glacé. It was such a great dish, I can't say enough about it. The grilled shrimp risotto was also a great dish. Finish your meal with the panacotta dessert, such a wonderful finish to an excellent meal. Staff is attentive and quick for the most part. I took a pizza home and even reheated it was very good. I'll be getting everyone gift certificates for here in the future. read more

Sette Luna is indeed a hidden gem in downtown Easton. Located on a quiet side street just a short 2 blocks away from the Crayola center, it is well worth tracking down. Since my wife and I first dined there several years ago, we have returned many times with other family members, friends, or just the 2 of us--everyone we ever brought there has enjoyed the food too. Some of the standout dishes are the Osso Bucco, various agnolotti, risotto, pizza. Their braised artichoke appetizer is to die for and I will inevitably order it if it is on the menu. I rarely order from the menu, instead usually choosing a special and have never been disappointed, whether it is meat, seafood, etc. As good as their food is, I had to withhold one star. They do not take reservations, and that can be a bit problematic if you are coming there with more than maybe 2-4 people for dinner--they get very busy and if you have a larger party it can be quite a wait to be seated. Additionally, the wait staff isn't quite as good as one would expect at a restaurant of this caliber. Part of the problem may simply be that they get VERY busy, and the layout of the place may make it a bit challenging to deliver really efficient service. Actually, the above 2 complaints are very minor compared to the noise level. Dining at Sette Luna during the height of dinner service is a deafening experience. There are no soft surfaces to absorb the noise, so the waitresses have to shout to make the specials heard and I have to practically read their lips to hear what is on offer. My hearing is not perfect, but my wife's is as sharp as a tack and she complains about the sound level too--not really the place you want to take a special someone for a quiet romantic dinner. Even with the one star demerit, my complaints are really very minor--the food makes the place worth repeated visits. read more

One of my favorite lunch time stops for scrumptious brick oven pizza. The décor is adorable and cozy with an authentic Italian flair. Perfect for date night. or girls night out.. No complaints with service but it can get a bit noisy and crowded. In the spring/summer the opportunity to sit out side and dine is pretty neat. read more

I used to really love this place, but each recent visit has made me more and more dissatisfied. Every time I go the portions appear smaller, while the prices go up. My most recent visit was a take-out order of a caprese salad and the agnolotti con mozzarella. When I picked up my order, the staff was nice enough, and I didn't need to wait too long. However, when I got home and opened the bag, I realized the sauce on the agnolotti was brown and it had what appeared to be bacon on top. Not your typical sauce for their agnolotti con mozzarella, which is usually a greenish pesto color. I cut open one of the agnolotti, and it contained meat - definitely, not what I ordered. I called them right away and let them know, and the waitress who took the order got on the phone and apologized and let me know she read the ticket incorrectly but was having the kitchen prepare my correct order right then if I wanted to come back down. Being hungry for what I had ordered, I definitely wanted the meal that I ordered, so I drove back down. The waitress came over, apologized again, and offered me a $15 gift certificate for the inconvenience, which was greatly appreciated. It is nice that they acknowledge and try to correct things with their customers, but there was also the case of the caprese salad. I've had the salad before, quite some time ago, so seeing the caprese this time really shocked and disappointed me. Especially, after comparing it to what it used to be or was?? The bottom picture is what I received, but the top picture is what once was. I'm so confused how they pass this off as a caprese? It's a ball of mozzarella completely drenched in pesto sauce with what looked like wilted sun dried tomatoes, not the beautifully prepared dish you see on top, with the plump roasted tomatoes. Not a caprese salad! I should have just thrown my $25 in the trash. Very disappointed and ready to move on from Sette Luna. read more

Little on the pricey side, but overall excellent food, especially the risotto ball special! One bad thing is it is incredibly loud on weekends (as to be expected) and also very long wait times. They don't take reservations so make sure you call ahead! Usually when I go here, there is excellent service, but the last time I went, our service was much slower than usual. We were the only ones in the restaurant and waited over 10 minutes after asking for the check before it was finally brought to us. Normally would not mind this, but we had to be somewhere and it was taking us over half an hr just to try to leave the restaurant. Like I said though, normally excellent service! read more

This food is REAL genuine Italian which I love. I am Italian myself and my family also own an Italian Delicatessen. I have met the owner a couple times he is super friendly and explained to us a lil history about his business which I appreciated. The food is good and made right there! The bolongese dish is die for! The ONLY complaint I have is the wait and while the service is super nice they can take awhile in between serving the patrons.I recommend this place! read more

Yet another great restaurant to go on a date, or out with friends or family in Easton. The food is simple and superb, with excellent service. One thing I love about Sette Luna more than any other place in downtown Easton is its atmosphere. A very cozy inside (which can get a bit loud at times though- it doesn't bother me), and a gorgeous outdoor area in the warm seasons.
