I somehow purchased for SEV in SF on a Groupon by mistake and the receptionist helped me get it all credited accordingly. The RN in the room was able to provide me with helpful techniques for my next treatment. I can't wait for my next session it was painless and quick. I have been going to SEV laser for a over a year now and I have treated not only my upper lip but my cheeks and I have had over 10 sessions and my hair growth is still really bad. My hair looks darker and thicker than it did before I even started laser. I am very disappointed with my results and everytime I mentioned my concern about how thick my hair still was they didn't do anything. I have wasted so much of my money here and I am so disappointed. I also have started to break out with acne and ingrown hairs afterI started laser so it overall has been a terrible experience. I do not recommend. read more

***BEWARE*** I had to cancel my appointment because I woke up sick with 102 fever, chills and body aches. I had a flu and they charged me $85. After I told them I was sick and needed to cancel they said IF I didn't come in they would charge me a no show fee. The IF implies I still could have come in. I told them I didn't want to expose them in case I had COVID-19 I asked them to please not charge me and they said to e-mail them and they would make a determination. I have emailed two times with no response. Please do not patronize a business they would risk getting their staff and patrons sick. I believe I still could of kept my appointment and been sick and they still would have seen me. How could you charge someone a no show fee in the era of COVID-19. Have you no heart? read more

I bought the 6 sessions for a large area on Groupon. This actually includes Brazilian and arm pits-I'm not sure if I missed that in the fine print or if it's not disclosed. It was very easy to make the appointment. They answered the phone right away and accommodated my schedule. All of the paperwork is done online-which makes the process quick and easy. A nurse then calls to follow up on the questions and to give the "all clear." The call was less than 5 minutes. SEV in Walnut Creek is clean and chic. You feel pampered while waiting for your appointment. The nurse was extremely nice and welcoming. I didn't feel nervous or shy at all. The process was quick and painless. Being my first time, I wasn't sure what it would feel like. Honestly, I didn't experience any pain. I'm excited to return for the rest of my appointments! read more

Let me say, I have tried shaving, waxing and sugaring and having tried different methods, I can confidently say I LOVE SEV. They are efficient and friendly which is a difficult combo. The staff at the walnut creek location is always friendly & super nice but they over book & can rarely offer accommodating times to schedule appointments yet charge a $65 fee for canceling. They usually never fit you into the recommended time to come back which is 6 weeks they usually always have to book you for further out which after how much you pay for your services is not the greatest feeling. Wish SEV cared about their customers a little more. My mom goes to laseraway & has never dealt with these issues. read more

I've only had one treatment done so far but the service was amazing. I purchased a Groupon for my lower legs. The whole process was easy. Once I scheduled my appointment, I was sent a few forms to fill out online. Each form was very detailed and explained what to expect, contraindications, pre/postcare, etc... The clinic is very clean and the staff was friendly. The procedure itself was a lot less painful than what I was expecting. The cooling fan definitely helps with any discomfort! Just like many have said before, it feels like a snap of a rubber band on the skin with a little heat. ive been doing my laser here since September! its been going so well up until my last laser appointment. on my 6th session i saw such wonderful results n thought id only need two more sessions, did the 7th a month n a half ago n my hair grew so much? ive always had such great results w aisa (i believe is her name) had her with my first , fifth and sixth session n only really saw results with her n not much w the others. im still so disappointed but hoping that my upcoming appointment is better, if not i dont recommend coming here lol read more

SEV in Walnut Creek is awesome. Today was appointment 5 of 6. I had nurse Pauline today. Each appointment I've seen a different nurse/laser tech. All were women and very kind and courteous. I purchased a Living Social deal that was $200 for 6 sessions of two areas. I selected bikini and under arms. They closed due to the California order in December, but they opened back up. Yay. My hair is responding well to laser removal. Can't wait to see my final results after my 6th appointment. Prior to doing laser I did waxing for years. I definitely wish I started laser sooner in life. If you are thinking about doing laser, I definitely recommend SEV. The treatments are not painful (in my opinion) and you experience way less hair growth. SEV checks your temperature upon arrival. The appointments are quick. Everyone wears a mask. They sanitize between appointments. It feels safe and the overall decor is beautiful and inviting. read more

So I was told my my girlfriend that if I get my nose lasers it would help with the black heads. Wow I am amazed I did my nose and I I ended up doing my face & back and shouldered as well. SEV Laser is a great med spa with affordable services. The technicians are educational and have been incredibly efficient. Upon entering the office for my service on 7/21, I was not greeted by the front desk and lead to ask the woman with dark red hair and glasses if the meters accepted cash because the card reader was not working. She rudely responded to me by saying "We do not park there. If it has a meter you need to pay." I was so flustered by her response that I did not go out to pay my meter and was called back for my session, which I wanted to be on time for so I did not put the next person behind. When I came out to the front to pay, I avoided her and went to the other receptionist who was lovely but as I got to my car I saw that I was cited. I am extremely furious at this experience and could have avoided a ticket for a quick 10 min appointment! She needs to fix her attitude if she works in customer service. read more

Today was my 2nd session at SEV Laser salon. Immediately as I walk in I am greeted and made to feel welcomed. Check in is quick and easy. I arrived 30 minutes early but as I wait for my apt, many other clients come and go quickly and effortless. The mood is hip and upbeat with the music in the background. Once I enter my room I am greeted again by my technician, Leslie. She LOVES her job and wants me to feel comfortable and informed, she talks to me throughout the procedure and answers all my questions. I am furious. I have never written a yelp review but I had to for this place. The most unprofessional laser hair removal place I have been to. Hair reduction results = horrible. I have pictures of my underarm hair after I recieved six sessions with another laser facility in Arizona, and my hair was almost gone. After going to SEV laser twice, my underarm hair is back and growing rapidly. I contacted SEV laser and demanded a refund which you would assume I would get seeing I have pictures of my underarm hair growing back after my two sessions with them. I told the nurses before the treatment even started that I had six previous laser hair treatments in Arizona. I complained to SEV laser and they told me I'm at fault for not telling the nurses I've had previous sessions, when I had in fact verbally told both of them, and they refuse to give me a refund but offered $50 of credit. Why the hell would I want credit. SEV laser, do better. read more

I wanna start by saying that SEV has some great customer service. I walked in for my full body appointment and was super impressed by the customer service I received from Karina and Ariana. They both immediately greeted me and were very attentive. They made the check in process super fast and easy. My nurse Terrie was also super great. She was very nice and made the laser experience even better. She adjusted the settings to my comfort and made me feel very comfortable. The biggest issue I have with SEV WALNUT CREEK is that there is a huge scheduling issue. They can not keep up with how many services they sell and how many they can actually accommodate. Recently someone from there office contacted me to try to move my appointment. When I advised that the times offered to me didn't work with my schedule and I wanted to just keep my original appointment time I made (mind you I made my appointment about 3months in advance). The person then told me that my appointment was canceled because they had a nurse call in and she was trying to accommodate me. I was so upset because that person tried to play it off like I contacted them and wanted to changed things around. I told the person if I have to changed my appointment time because you don't have staff to accommodate your business needs then I want free services because this is not accommodate me at all, actually a huge inconvenience for me. Once I said that they happened to contact me back and advised they were able to keep my appointment time after all. To me that was so rude and unprofessional. Iv tried to take my services to the San Francisco location but they won't let you. Which to me is a scam because why am I paying for 6 services ahead of time and what is recommend is to have each service 4-6 weeks apart. They can only accommodate one appointment every 3 months. Now I'm wasting my money on the service all together because I'm not able to get in on time because of the business. Once I complete my services I already paid for then I'm never coming back here. Iv recommend a lot of people here and I'll be taking my business and friends to a better company. Don't waste your time with SEV. read more

Very Covid-safe measures in place which is comforting and they communicate exceptionally well throughout the entire process from booking through the service and onto pre-booking the next service. I'm giving 3 stars because I have been 3 times and 2 of the 3 times the nurses have been phenomenal (1 time the nurse was not friendly) But I had to call to reschedule and being a trainer you can't exercise for 24 hours so I have specific availability with my work schedule. I rescheduled for a Friday and when I got my confirmation it was for the Thursday and I called and they said the next available is 4 weeks and 4 days out. I understand with covid they are back logged on patients but when calling to make an appointment and you switch your work schedule around and then it was booked incorrectly is upsetting. read more

I bought a Groupon and just had my first session. The facility is very well maintained, my daughter said she was amazed at the cleaniness. I was greeted the moment I walked in by the receptionist who was friendly and not like the usual bitchy receptionists at other type of spa like facilities. I was called in by the nurse 2 mins after my appointment time. She was friendly and provided quick service. I was out in 10 mins and the receptionist made me 2 future appointments.
