Went in on New Years Day for our first visit ever. Not crowded, we were seated right away at a booth upstairs. Waitress appeared immediately for drink order, then reappeared with drinks to take food order. It was breakfast we wanted and it was still available until 2:00 pm. Food came quite quickly and our waitress was very friendly with a "sunny " attitude. Portions were large, prepared as we ordered, and quite flavorful. I'm not sure what the night life is like here, but I was not pleased by this place. I came here at 3pm for a beer and apps with my fiancé. We walked in and the bartender didn't look up from her phone. We didn't even try the food because the atmosphere was so poor. The beer was cold, a male bartender that started his shift half way through our time here was nice and attentive. And I liked the fact that the tvs here are big and in viewable areas of the bar. I'm from out of town but travel to Fresno often for business. I have to say that this has come to be my favorite spot to eat and have a drink when in town. I always sit in bar area which seems to be a local hangout for the 45+ crowd. Bar tender guy is cool as can be and the young lady waiting tables is awesome. Both make an outsider feel comfortable and welcome. Been to several other places around the area but none compare to Sevens. Food is great as well but the service is what puts this place at the top!! read more

We have had many events at Seven and have always had adequate accommodations, however we made a reservation for 10 people and when our reserved time came we were told that they could not accommodate us...we ended up leaving to go to Red Robin who seated us immediately....I don't know why Seven was so crowded on a Wednesday night that they could not accommodate us...but very disappointed that we had to leave and drive to a different location. read more

Okay, I pretty much agree with the negative comments with one caveat. Their rib eye steak is GREAT! Seriously, fork tender, good flavor, meaty and juicy. Their sides are all okay. My husband really likes the potato soup. We come here about once or twice a month and the rib eye is always fantastic. Dont do the T-bone, or New York..not the same experience. You really can't go wrong with the rib eye. If I want a good steak, I go here. Dont want to pay the big bucks for ambience, just want a good steak. read more

My boyfriend and I were searching for a place to eat in the area (we are new here) and settled on this place. Big mistake! As a server I was already disappointed when the girl who was seating us walked so far ahead and in front of other people that we had to search and run to catch up to her. As soon as we sat down it became clear she was our server. She had no apron on and had her server pad stuck into the front of her jeans. This was a Saturday night, but had the business of a slow Monday lunch shift. It took us over 20 minutes to get the appetizer. Our appetizer was super fresh and hot and tasted very well. Once we each got our food we were not impressed. I had the BBQ platter and being from the south I can safely say it was so dry and nothing at all to brag about. We each ate maybe about half or a little less of our food before deciding we just wanted to go. Around 11pm is when the puking started for both of us. Two days later and we are both still feeling stomach issues from this place. Never again. read more

So, I drive by this restaurant often since it is on Shaw and decided to try it for breakfast. Love the interior. The waitressing staff was awesome as well. The food was great! You get a lot for what you pay for... I went, simple breakfast with eggs, sausage and pancake. The pancake was the best. I tried a little of my sister's meat lover omlet and that was good as well. The best parts of Seven are the staff and the bar. The staff is always nice and friendly. The bar does good drink specials. Depending on what you order the food can be either ok or great. Sitting in the bar is always more fun especially when football season rolls around. read more

I've seen this place packed since it opened, and frankly can't understand why? Decided to try it for dinner with my family of five. Don't order the nachos. Chips were old and stail. the only thing on them that was WARM was the chili. The Tritip sandwich had meat that was tougher than my boots, the fish "STICKS" were from the GORTON's fisherman, couldn't say which fastfood place supplied chickenstrips, burgers or fries. For the $70+ that we spent, we would have been better off going to the cheap movies and ordered popcorn and a soda. The packed parking lot was the overstaffed employees that were wandering around trying to find something to do. TRY WIPING DOWN THE MENUS. Just saying. Don't waste your $$$$ at this place. Worst dining experience in Clovis! First we were sat down in the back corner as nobody was in the restaurant. Waited 30 minutes for the food to arrive to the table. Waitress did not even stop by to give updates on the order. All the employees were busy sitting down on their cell phones with the customers able to see them - very unprofessional! The baked potato was well cooked but there was no salt. Everything was under seasoned and I left feeling underwhelmed. Let me just say this. I've really had worse but the service was slow and towards the end the waitress just made a comment to where I should have just picked up the tip and have given her nothing. This past Sunday I took my daughter and 2 of my grand kids to breakfast. We were seated within 5- 10 minutes. Asked us what we needed to drink and took our order. Drinks came right away but the meal was very, very slow. Never offered or came by to refill my cup of coffee - not once. Chili Verde was tough. but the kicker was the end when I paid. I received my bill $39.37 so I left a $6 tip on the table and was getting up to go pay my tab. I had my bill and $40.00 bucks in my hand, the waitress see's me and says I'll take care of it and be back with your change. So I say okay and go back to the table. Now mind you we are sitting in booths so we are close enough to other people sitting by us. The waitress comes by and makes a point to say in a loud voice. "And here's your whole sixty three cents in change" and just keeps on walking. My daughter looks at me and says why did she do that. I said apparently she wanted me to give her the change also. My daughter was so mad she said pick up the tip but I was like it's okay we just will never come back here. So rude she was and that's unfortunate in these times. read more

Seven may have 3 stops in it and have a "pokemon go special" but it's not very pokemon go friendly. This is our experience last night. When we got there I let the guy know why we were there and that there might be other people who will show up to either join us or sit on their own. We told him we were playing pokemon go and were pretty sure we were sitting in the bar. Our service was slow but there seemed to be miscommunication. 3 different people were trying to help the table. When we got our drinks they brought the wrong drinks and we flagged someone down to correct it but only one person's was corrected. Then when the food came 2 meals were missing. We mentioned something and they said they were coming. One of the meals came out and it was wrong and then the other one just never came out and no one checked on us again. My friend ended up leaving without eating. As for being pokemon players we were greeted with even more rude comments. On their door it says they run lures from 7-8. So we told them we were here for the lures and nothing was mentioned. We were sitting at the table and the bartender made a sassy comment about us being pokemon players. It was like 7:30 and no lures were dropped. We asked about the lure and we were told no one on staff knew how to do it and that no one played and were met with disgust that we did. I ended up dropping my own lures for the group. They gave us all a 10% discount and didn't charge us for our nonalcoholic drinks (except for the people who's meals included the drink from the special and the majority of us didn't order drinks). The manager on staff tried to be friendly but ended up making me feel like I should take the blame because I didn't call ahead for a room (we had 9 at our table). Also heard from another group who didn't sit with us that people were complaining about us after we left even though we were not the loudest in there by far. Despite all that, my food tasted fine. I ordered wings and they tasted like typical bar food which is what I was expecting. Honestly I won't be going again. I have gone to red robins with over 30 people last minute (due to theatre) and have had amazing service. read more

Service was ok ... Food was Horrible.... Got Mozzarella sticks and it came with salsa.... Last time I checked there suppose to come with Marinara sauce.... Plus the inside was cold. My wife and i ate dinner dinner at the bar before catching a movie. The Bar tender was friendly, very helpful and quick on everything. I ordered the club house sandwich with fries and my wife ordered the rib eye steak with a salad and green beans. My wife's steak was cooked perfectly and was by far the best steak for the best price that we have ever had! The steak was extremely tender and juicy throughout. The green beans weren't too soft and weren't too crunchy and flavored awesome with bacon bits and a nice sweet light brown sauce, the salad had a nice touch with different greens, raisins, tomato, croutons and a creamy balsamic vinaigrette. The sandwich was good and the fries were great! We are bringing our family here to order rib eyes for everyone....AWESOME! read more

We've been here a few times in the past few months and we've always had a great experience. There is usually a group of us which makes it harder for the bartender and servers, but they are always attentive and have great attitudes. Josh knows how to make the Perfect chocolate martini which is the BEST I've ever had. Bailey is awesome and keeps us laughing with her stories, but she hooks up the drinks fast! I haven't been to the restaurant side, so I'm not sure what the experience is like over there, but in the bar area I have yet to be let down. read more

First time visiting and the food was good. however my experience with the waiter made the visit bad. The waiter took down the wrong order and when he brought it out he verified that the steak was the 12 oz and not the 6 oz. Finally after eating a few bites the waiter came back and to let us know it was the wrong one. So he took what was left of the steak and he'd us wait for the new one while everyone already had there food. I wonder what he did with the old steak recycled it maybe? read more

Overall I'd give a rating of three stars, but the five stars are for the rib eye steak. absolutely THE BEST STEAK ever for the price. Tender, flavorful, juicy..fantastic! Love the green beans and stuffed potato too. My go to place when I want a steak. HIGHLY recommend. This said, not a fan of anything else on the menu including any other cut of meat. Just to be clear..ONLY order the RIB EYE steak. Seriously tender enough to cut with a fork, and well seasoned. Needs nothing added.
