Came here for breakfast. The prices were very reasonable and the food was good. We had quick service and the food came quickly. We did have to ask for utensils, then ask for ketchup and sugar for our tea, our food and drinks were brought out without any of the normal items you get at other places (napkins, forks etc...) I had to get the attention of a waitress each time and the server made the comment "who's your waitress?" because she wasnt my server but I didn't know where mine was. She seemed irritated I was asking for stuff but, I mean, we need a fork to eat. They do offer military discounts on the check. That was well appreciated. read more

Last night our group of 20+ Catholic Daughters reserved a room to hold our Anniversary dinner. The room was ready when we arrived and personalized menus were on the table. Our choices and the cost with our group name printed on placemat was special. Our drink orders were taken & then food orders while we greeted one another and chatted. Seven has wine (red zin) thank you, as well as all the usual coffee, soft drinks, and large glasses of water. I had a pork chop & mashed potatoes with brown gravy on the side, along with toasted sourdough bread already buttered. Around me people were enjoying Tri-tip and lemon chicken. The dinner only came with one side but for an additional cost (not sure of $) you could receive an additional side. I would have liked more of the yummy bread! Our servers were great: friendly, patient, humorous and generally happy people. When it was time to bring out & cut the anniversary cake, they brought plates & even helped serve. The Bartender got rude and defensive with our entrance after 8pm and asked if we were part of "the party". I said no, then he said "sorry were closed". My friend questioned the open sign and open door which made the bartender get defensive towards us. I also got defensive because I tried to call the venue and got no answer. The breakfast menu is so good, the portion are big. Waitresses are always pleasant, they know what service with a smile means. We tried their lunch menu, I love their soups n tuna sandwich. I have no idea how the food is, I didn't stay that long. We sat outdoors, the menus were dirty and sticky. I ordered an iced tea and it tasted awful, my friend tasted it too and she didn't like it. We thought it might be old. No big deal, I asked for water instead. I went to find the restroom to wash my hands. The manager approached me, he seemed angry and asked me why I didn't like the tea. I told him it tasted old, he replied that it the tea had just been brewed. My bad, I apologized and said it must be me. He walked away laughing and shaking his head. Calm down Mr. Manager, it's just tea. I wouldn't have even mentioned it if he hadn't been so rude. I get to the restroom to wash my hands and no soap. Two soap dispensers, bone dry. Not even a little bubble. I look around, nothing on the counter. Told the waitress and she laughed. I was done. This place is sits in the low end of average. Came here for breakfast and realized it was a diner type restaurant with a bar. It's a big place but not grand in any way. Ordered two eggs, country potatoes and bacon, it was alright. I had to add salt and pepper to the potatoes, they didn't really have any taste. The customer service wasn't great. I tried to mask the taste with tarter sauce but the tarter sauce they served was some off brand packets. I mean come on! Even a bad cook can make decent tarter sauce! Ya just gotta try. Thankful the chips (French Fries) must have been fried in fresh hot oil because they were decent fries. My wife ordered the Lemon Chicken also $11.99 over rice pilaf. For an extra $2.59 she added a green salad with her entree. The simple green salad was fresh, the croutons were crunchy and the blue cheese dressing was just okay. As for the entree... that's another issue. We've concluded the whole dish was cooked last week then it was put in a refrigerator until someone ordered it. Then the "cook" warmed it up in a microwave and served it. It was suppose to be Lemon Chicken, It was dry chicken breast with a little lemon pepper seasoning. She was expecting a lemon, garlic, butter sauce over freshly seared chicken breast. My wife literally took one bite of the tiniest dried out piece of chicken breast you've ever seen then boxed the remaining plate up for our dog. Nothing special. Had the pork chop plate. Two boneless pork chops with a baked potato. Pork chops very dry. Medium sized baked potato with more sour cream & butter on it, than potato. Had to scoop most of it out. Server told us the reason the restaurant is called seven is because the owner had 7 kids born on the 7th month or the 7th day or something like that. She wanted breakfast and it's nearly impossible finding an establishment that can accommodate such a large party for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Our service was excellent! But I have came three times now and I love this place. This is owned by the people that own brooks ranch and both places are really good. Back to this place. Let me preface this by saying that I hate to write a bad review. We chose Seven for a meal on Sunday morning, seating ourselves in the bar area to watch the games. It was busy but not crazy busy. We sat for about 10 minutes before someone took our drink order. A beer for the hubby, coffee for me. Both were brought fairly quickly although I had to ask for and then wait for creamer and sugar. Menus were also delivered at this time. We then waited about another 15 minutes for our order to be taken. I asked for a refill of coffee and 2 waters. Another 30 minutes passed before our meals were served. Almost an hour after we first sat down. Still no coffee or water or utensils. Food was lukewarm. My chicken sandwich was tasteless and I had to remove the warm wilted lettuce. The fries were cool and soggy. Still no refill of coffee. I ended up leaving most of my disgusting meal. The food was tasteless and had obviously sat under a warmer. The service was extremely slow, almost nonexistent and I never received a refill of coffee although I had asked for one. Maybe it was just a flook and we hit Seven on a bad day, at a bad time...but we won't be back. read more

My family of four stopped by to try it and I'm glad we did. We read the yelps and the only negative thing we experienced was yes the hostess does walk far ahead of us fast paced and for us being out first time we hustled because we didn't want to lose her, lol the resturant has different levels so it does give a first timer the thought we'd lose her if we didnt keep up. Once seated our waitress was fast,friendly even at the end offering to go cups to the kiddos. We were here for the earlier game and realized that the free chips and salsa we enjoyed the previous visit were only available later in the day, not for the first games of the day. Very odd. Finally, there was one moment with about 15 of us in the bar when the bartender just flat out disappeared. We were literally all looking around and scratching our heads for 10 minutes. It was a weird quiet moment. It felt like we were being punked or something. One of the other customers went up to the restaurant area and found someone to chase down our bartender.
