Everything was fantastic! The surroundings with beautifully laid table with lights and white tablecloths, the beverages, and the food were wonderful. We had a large group, 7 adults and 6 children. The kids are active so we went early so it wasn't crowded. We had planned on going by boat but sadly a storm hit and it was pouring rain. Service was attentive and friendly. I will return for sure on a future family visit. One minor thing..my vegetable crab soup was lukewarm and it would have been better hot. My husband got the cream based and his was hot. The appetizers (nachos, wings, crab dip) were wonderful. A great children's menu..they ate well.

Love coming here and sitting outside on the lower deck! Do enjoy brunch as well but sitting outside on the water with a crisp glass of Sauvignon blanc and some crab dip really hits! Their food is very good, also enjoy their nachos.

We've been coming to Severn inn for years now. The food and waterfront view never disappoint. The service however is inconsistent. When we have gone for brunch it's great. A couple of private celebrations service has been between good and mediocre. Hence why the 4 stars. Definitely a 5 location/ambiance. 4 star for food. 2-3 star service. Plenty parking in the back if you don't find any right up front.

Food was good, service was good, but thinking you're walking into a $45 pre fixe 3 course experience and finding out that entrees start at $45 is infuriating. Particularly on Valentine's Day, because it's not like you can walk out in disgust without looking like a cheap jerk. I wasn't the only one, I heard another table asking why it wasn't pre fixe, similarly disappointed.

One of the best views in town! The food is ok, but it's definitely one of the best places to share a bottle of wine.

My girlfriend and I were staying for a night at the Gibson's Inn just a block away and so we stumbled upon this place just from walking around. Glad we came here for dinner. Excellent little corner restaurant and cocktail bar. There was live music in the corner while we were there, dim lighting, nice decor, friendly service, and the pièce de résistance: a phenomenal meal. My girlfriend had the blackened mahi burger, and I had the steak burrito, stuffed to capacity, drenched in red sauce and crema, exquisitely prepared and presented. Washed down with a local IPA. If we lived locally we would come here a lot more often. As is, we promise to come back when we are back in Annapolis, whenever that may be!

Menu focuses on both Chesapeake and west coast oysters. They also have a variety of salads, seafood and libations. We ordered a dozen oysters (4 different Chesapeake ones, 3 of each). They came with a vinaigrette and a spicy cocktail sauce. Server explained each one to us. They were fresh, clean tasting and delicious! We also got the smoked whitefish dip. It was creamy and smoky, topped with caviar and came with flatbread style sesame crackers. It was light and savory. My companion ordered the tuna sashimi special. It had melt in your mouth toro marinated in yuzu and sesame sauce. It was topped with seaweed and came with a side of kimchi aioli. It was definitely the star dish. Will need to come back to try other seafood dishes and drinks.

Whitefish Dip was fine but way too much mayo than the fish. Bread & Butter was disappointing. It shouldn't be something they charge. The bread probably was from supermarket and it wasn't chive butter but green onion. OG Caesar was basically wedge salad with heavy pesto oil, overall oily and salty. Lomi Lomi Salmon... Not good. Hamachi probably was the best thing. Happy hour drinks was the best thing.

We were very excited to try new menu items and the famous gimlet. Service was great, our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food and drinks were good, our favorite avocado tacos did not disappoint! What made our experience go from good to bad quickly was what seemed to be the chef coming to our table reeking of cigarettes and alcohol and proceeding to hover over us for what felt like an inappropriately long time. Our server looked embarrassed as if this is a reoccurring event. Although I appreciate the chef coming to check on us it was a bit uncomfortable.
