I bought a 2023 Kia Sorento on Nov. 29, 2024…read more After the salesman had confirmed some basic info, I was passed to Matt, the finance guy. He sat me and my parents (they were loaning me a down payment) in his office where he proceeded to give us a great deal with a $1500 tradein value for my 2011 Ford Fusion. Fantastic. When he asked for the title for my Ford, I gave him what I THOUGHT was an acceptable document--the signed-over title of the Ford from my ex husband. I will admit guilt here--the title should have been fresh and in MY name, which I did not understand. But Matt said, "It's fine, we'll take care of it," and took the title and gave me the tradein value. In December, after I'd already driven the car back to Illinois with the promise "I'd receive plates in the mail," I received texts from Matt stating that they actually DID need a fresh title, so they'd fedEx the faulty title I'd given them back to me. Several weeks later, that title had not arrived. It had been lost with FedEx, and my ex had to order another one. At this point, the temp tags given by Art Moehn had expired. I called the dealership to ask for new ones and they refused for "legal reasons." I even offered to repay the tradein value of the Ford and start over, but was told that wasn't possible. My ex finally got the Ford's fresh registration and signed it over to the dealership. I FedExed those documents back (it was nearly March at this point). I received a text from Matt confirming that, yes, I should receive my plates in the mail, and they'll send a 60-day temp tag, which did arrive. The 2nd week of May, I still had not received my plates. I became concerned--my temp tags would expire May 29, and I'd booked a road trip through Canada (at a $2k expense) for which I'd need proper registration. So I contacted Matt (after several ignored previous attempts) on May 14, asking if he could check that all paperwork was in order. He assured me that it was, and said I just needed to wait. Several days passed with no update, so I reached out to both the Illinois and Michigan Secretaries of State. Neither had any information on my VIN. I spent over 4 hours on hold. I reached out to the leinholder, Capital One, who said, yes, there was a delay from Art Moehn on paperwork. Feeling like I might have found the issue, I contacted Matt. He proceeded to call me back and repeatedly state that he could not do anything, that the lender had nothing to do with the registration, that it "must suck" to be in my position, but there was absolutely nothing he could do because DealerDoc (who he'd FINALLY agreed to contact after several texts) hadn't "gotten back to him." He insisted that DealerDoc "doesn't make mistakes" (this did turn out to be true, but wait for the end). So I reached out to DealerDoc on May 23. They returned my call on May 27 to communicate the following: DealerDoc did not receive ANY transfer registration paperwork until May 15. One day AFTER I'd sent Matt the a text regarding checking on a 3-month-old registration paperwork submission. To reiterate--I now realized Matt hadn't submitted ANY paperwork until almost 3 months following his receipt of my valid title. Art Moehn's employee berated me, ignored me, and then gaslit me while covering up his own ineptitude. He had never submitted the paperwork until AFTER several emails and texts from me (nearly 3 months after I'd submitted valid documents) and lied through his teeth about making a mistake. While I now finally have my plates (nearly 7 months after sale, 3 months after submitting valid paperwork, and many hours wasted on hold), I cannot speak more poorly about Art Moehn's staff, at least with this particular employee. My Kia is fine, by the way. But don't trust financing, registration, or communication from this dealership.

The vehicle was advertised as being equipped with a Tow Package and Class IV hitch. After taking delivery and later inspecting the vehicle, I discovered that the receiver hitch and wiring was not installed. The missing hitch was not immediately obvious because the receiver location is behind a removable bumper cover on this model. After removing the cover, I confirmed that the vehicle did not have the advertised hitch equipment. Additionally, during the sales process, I was told that the vehicle would include an additional key fob. At delivery, only one key fob was provided. I have made multiple attempts to resolve these issues directly with Monster Motors through email, requesting that they provide the advertised hitch equipment and the additional key fob or reimburse the reasonable cost to correct these issues. Unfortunately, I have not received a response. I am disappointed that the vehicle did not match the advertised equipment and that my attempts to resolve this matter directly have gone unanswered. I hope Monster Motors will address these concerns and work toward a resolution. If they do, I will update this review to reflect the outcome.

They ran my credit multiple times unacceptable and lied to me from the beginning because I asked Brad Snyder the salesmen I'm not singing to be approved right and he said no just to check your credit score my wife was right there with me and my kids. Months go by I call them to ask why they are trying to approve me when I never asked to be and the lady I'm talking to who goes by Connie and believe last name Granger straight lies to me and says no we didn't run your credit they don't effect your score at all we don't do that. I know how the system works I've done it and know she is lying and ask to speak to manager. The manager comes on the phone his name is Dan and right away says yes we ran your credit you wanted to be approved for Suburban and I said no I never wanted to I was told it was to see my credit which was a lie typical. Then I said well the lady I spoke to completely told me they never ran my credit and you come on the phone and tell me right away yes we did. Come on people biggest scammers and dirty tactics playing dumb lol caught themselves in a lie. Don't trust them and I knew from the beginning I should have never signed any forms of paper but trust I shouldn't have given them car salesmen or woman always lie. Saw a vehicle online and made several calls over a weeks time to the owner Don. He was a really…read morenice guy on the phone, and we agreed on a price. I was supposed to get a text of the VIN number the same day, and paperwork from his wife. Over the next three days, I never received VIN and was emailed to call, which I did each day. Still no VIN or paperwork. On the 3rd day after agreeing to said price, Don tells me the vehicle was sold. I feel like I was strung along over those 3 days to use my price as bargaining chip to other buyers. I in no way can recommend this dealer as I think he kept stringing me along. I even went so far as to schedule transport and called the transporter after the bad news. No way to run a business and probably why I am the very first Yelp review!

I brought my SUV in for repairs, and the whole experience was frustrating from start to finish. First of all, they kept my vehicle for an entire month, which is way too long for the type of repairs that were supposed to be done. During that time, communication was very poor. I had to constantly reach out just to get updates, and I was often left in the dark about what was going on with my car. They also made me feel pressured into approving repairs that I wasn't fully sure about. While my warranty covered some (or most) of the cost, it still felt like I was being pushed to spend more money than necessary. It didn't feel like they were working in my best interest--more like they were trying to get as much money out of the situation as possible. When I finally got my SUV back after a month, I immediately noticed that a personal item I always keep in the car was missing. I know for a fact it was there when I dropped it off. It's incredibly disappointing to feel like you can't even trust the place you're paying a lot of money to. I spent a lot--a lot--on this repair, and to be treated like this just doesn't feel fair. I usually try to give businesses the benefit of the doubt, but this experience left a really bad taste in my mouth. I can't recommend this shop to anyone, and I suggest looking elsewhere if you want honest, timely, and respectful service.

I can't say enough good things about the collision center at Seymour Ford Lincoln! I was in a car accident where my vehicle was towed from the scene. I reached out to Seymour for help with my insurance claim and arrangements for a rental while they did the repairs on my car. I received a call back from the collision centers manager within the hour. He walked me through the entire process of calling my insurance company and making the claim. He also helped me get a rental call booked and arranged to have someone come pick me up from my office in Ann Arbor to take me to the rental car. The next morning, I had a call first thing with an update on the arrival of my vehicle to their facility, a walk through of their next steps, and to make sure that I had everything I needed for rental car arrangements. Throughout the entire process of them fixing my car, I received update phone calls regularly. When my car was done, a representative from their collision center walked me through everything that was done to the car. I appreciated that there were no surprises or additional costs when I came to pick up the car and pay for their services. At this point, I was very pleased with their level of customer service. A week after getting my vehicle back, it wouldn't start. As it turns out there was an issue with the battery and it needed to be replaced. I called directly to the collision center from the parking lot that my car wouldn't start in and they jumped to help right away. While I found a ride back to my office, they called and arranged for someone from the rental car company to come pick me up before the close of business and take me to get a rental car. They updated me once they were able to get my car to their facility, and again first thing in the morning once they were able to diagnose and let me know that they battery needed to be replaced. They had it all set that afternoon, called the rental car place to arrange for me to return the vehicle and get a ride to the dealership to pick up my car. Like I said, I cannot say enough good things about the service that I received at Seymour Ford Lincoln. As a regular leaser of Ford's vehicles, they will be getting my business for years to come! read more

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Seymour Ford collision. I brought my car in to have some paint damage fixed and was horrified when I picked it up to find that they had chipped the paint in the process. While they did fix that mistake, I am now facing new issues with paint drips and missing paint where the trunk opens. This is completely unacceptable and shows a lack of attention to detail on behalf of the technicians at the dealership. To make matters worse, I was shocked to find out that they used a paint pen to touch up the paint instead of properly applying clear coat. The result is an eyesore that looks like a quick fix rather than a professional repair job. It's clear that quality is not a priority at Seymour Ford. But the disappointment didn't end there. I also noticed that my tinted windows were significantly bubbled after they cleaned them with ammonia (something like windex). This was never an issue before and I was told it was due to 'bad tint.' However, I find it hard to believe that my tint suddenly became bad after being cleaned by a dealership. It seems more likely that their cleaning methods were the cause of the bubbles, and they are now trying to pass the blame onto my tint. Overall, I am incredibly disappointed in the service I received at Seymour Ford. Not only did they cause more damage to my car, but they also failed to properly fix it and damaged another part of my car in the process. The lack of attention to detail and professionalism is alarming and I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. I hope they take the time to improve their services and properly train their technicians, so no one else has to go through the same disappointment that I did. read more

I had a fantastic experience at Seymour Ford, especially working with Shawn Avery in the service department. I brought my car in to have my sunroof window replaced, and they exceeded my expectations in every way. Shawn was professional, friendly, and kept me informed throughout the entire process. What really impressed me was the turnaround time--they completed the work the same day, which was incredibly convenient. The new sunroof window looks perfect, and as an added bonus, they cleaned and detailed my car before returning it. That extra touch made a big difference and showed they truly care about their customers. I found out about Seymour Ford through an internet advertisement on cars.com. Marty Hicks was quick to answer all questions I had regarding the vehicle. He also took several additional photos of the vehicle I asked for which required getting the vehicle up on a lift. When I flew in, he picked me up at the airport which saved a lot of hassle for me. The condition of the vehicle was exactly as Marty described which was very important for my purchase because the vehicle was an older vehicle (20 years) with extremely low miles. On top of it all, the staff is a friendly, professional group which made my car buying experience quite easy. I had an absolutely outstanding experience at Seymour Ford Lincoln. On my way home in my Bronco, I picked up a screw in my tire and it was losing air fast. I pulled in without an appointment, and the team didn't hesitate for a second--they took me in immediately and got my tire repaired right away. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience purchasing my F-350 at Seymour Ford. Mark Twichell was very helpful and courteous. Even after closing the sale he offered to pick my vehicle up from my office to have the spray in bed liner installed so it would be no hassle to me. There is never a convenient time to have body work done on a vehicle, but Shawn and his team made it as painless as possible. I recently had my oil changed here. It was my second time having the oil changed by this dealership. I had not made an appointment so I had a little wait until they could take my car in, but I expected that could be the case. Once the car was pulled into a service bay, it took the time I was told. I purchased my Mariner from Seymour Ford in 2008. I have never had it serviced anywhere else. Seymour Ford has always been convenient, reasonably priced, friendly and always professional. I bought tires from them 2 years ago and got a better deal than any of the local tire places. Now, I get free rotation with my oil changes. One stop instead of two. I would recommend both their regular service department and their quick lube to anyone. read more

Great salesmen at Seymour. I spent a lot of time with AJ testing driving cars and talking about dealer trades and he was willing to go the extra mile to make me happy. At the last minute I found a great deal at a different dealership and did not buy from Seymour. As always, great service. Took my car because of a flat tire. Was told that the puncture was on the side and they ordered a new tire right then. I just had to come back once the tire arrived and was done before I was able to go through my emails on my phone. I have a dear friend who pre-paid a 24 month lease and she had to be placed into an assisted living and no longer needs the car. 7 months into the lease, 2500 miles and Seymore is willing to take the car back and give my friend $0.00. 17 months left on the pre-paid lease and they offer her nothing and she has been buying cars from Seymour Ford for years. Loyalty means nothing to Seymour Ford. read more

Took our vehicle in for a lack of acceleration and a check engine light. The only reason we took…read moreour vehicle in to Tamrox was because they offered a loaner vehicle. Otherwise we would've went to our regular trusted mechanic. They did a full inspection and we were told everything they found wrong with our vehicle. Then they discussed cost to repair said items. We were told changing the 3 coil packs on the back of the engine, and new spark plugs would fix the acceleration issue, they never made any mention that there may be a possibility that this wouldn't fix the issue. Which of course was the case, as the problem still exists today. For $3500 they replaced a rear wheel bearing, 3 coil packs and plugs, and a rear knuckle assembly. The very same day we got the vehicle back the rear wheel was squeaking horribly loud. Well apparently they put our brakes back together wrong so we had to go back and have that redone. Then they checked to see why the check engine light came back on and why it was still lacking acceleration. We were then told it would be another $3500 to replace the catalytic converter and 2 of 4 O2 sensors. Mind you the vehicle is a 2014 Explorer with over 200k miles on it. Had we known the first $3500 might not fix our issue, and we might have to spend another $3500 and it still might not be fixed. We surely would've sold the car as is to a mechanic, or scrapped it. In good condition the vehicle is only worth $6-7k. For comparison sake I asked my regular trusted mechanic what they would've charged for what was done, and it was substantially less. So much so that we could've just got a rental car and still would've had money left over, and I guarantee they would've properly diagnosed the vehicle and fixed it right the first time. You live and you learn, take it from me you don't want to go here, they like to throw parts at the problem, and they don't properly communicate that their idea for a "fix" might not be correct one. Aside from that they are ridiculously over priced compared to their competitors.
