She cut my hair short and then tried to use a hairdryer and comb to make it look like the pictures, but it did not work. I showed her the reference photos again and asked if she could get help from someone else. She asked a colleague, who showed her how to cut the style, but she still seemed unsure how to do it. Eventually, the owner had to step in and finish the haircut for me. For a long-hair haircut that cost about $100 total ($85 for the haircut plus a $15 tip), I was very disappointed with the experience. At this price point, I expected the stylist to be able to achieve the hairstyle she had confirmed she could do, or to be upfront from the beginning if it was outside her expertise. Unfortunately, based on my experience, it was not worth the price or time.

I come here for Olivia, I followed her from another salon because she's literally the best. She works with me and guides me in the right direction. Every time I say "I want it exactly like last time except this one small tweak" she nails it. Sometimes it's like she can read my mind. I had been drifting to different colorists for awhile, as I am very…read moregray resistant and was not getting the right color, nor the right process to keep it in my hair longer than two weeks. Adam was the perfect colorist in his extreme in depth knowledge of the science behind coloring hair and different alternatives. He instructed me on what was happening to my hair from the pictures I sent him that he explained the science behind and what would be done differently. The color he chose on me, neutralized all the different bands of color in my hair from previous colorings, as he understood that my hair was very fine and held onto color strongly, so I had mixed bands. He also explained that I had some translucence, which he explained what that was to know that it wasn't just my gray resistance, it was the process that did not work from the previous coloring and why my gray was showing sooner than my growout, that in itself was very helpful. . I was very happy with the results and my hair is shiny, soft and the color is deep and rich like a fine dark chocolate with notes of deep chestnut in the sun. I trust him fully with experimenting further down the road with more color choices trusting the science behind the process. I also loved that he understood strengthening the hair after the coloring process is a good thing. His understanding of my fine hair was also a godsend. I am growing it out at the moment, so the cut is not very exciting, but he balanced it out with the right texturing to give it more life and movement, and most of all respected my choices and why. I have found my new colorist. He is extremely helpful and intuitive in guiding his clients to reach their hair potential! I am so happy I found Adam and the place is chill, not pretentious, not too big and boutique chic. Thank you Adam!

I have extensions and needed a move up and more highlights. I was late to the appointment so she had to rush, but the color just was not a match. During the appointment it felt like a passive aggressive experience, during which she pulled my hair the entire time. It was exceptionally rough, and having my hair done all my life that has never been the case. Not only that, but the color just does not hit. My tape-in extension was even on the floor at one point, and she just picked it up and carelessly placed it. I've never had slipping, and these extensions have legit fallen out (while out), and I take really good care of them. Here is a picture of my color now, after less than 2 months. I'm not sure how this is considered blonde, and I've been blonde for over a decade. My hair is also not hard to lighten, (my family are natural platinum on my father's side). Like I said, it felt like one passive aggressive experience where I was uncomfortable and felt unwelcome. People make mistakes with showing up late but that doesn't mean you should give someone a bad experience. I understand as an independent contractor you need to protect your time, to which I'm sorry, but the results just didn't deliver even though there actually was enough time as was stated during the process.
