I really hate to write bad reviews, but I realized my hair color is very uneven and now it will cost me a lot of money to get a proper color correction at a different salon. I came to see Rebecca for the first time through a friend's referral. This review is strictly based on the quality of work only. Rebecca is a very sweet woman and I really loved visiting this salon. It's located in a gorgeous location right in the Marina, and the salon itself is beautiful. However, I requested to get my roots touched up blonde since it was grown out. I feel like the appointment was a bit rushed because the bleach did not saturate long enough (I have natural dark Asian hair). As a result, my hair color is now multiple different colors and has banding issues because the bleach was either applied unevenly or did not sit long enough. At first, I thought my hair came out okay because I was told that using purple shampoo would help a lot. But the purple shampoo did not make a difference. The front pieces are still dark and did not get lightened enough, compared to the rest of my head. Attached are images: I also received a different opinion and got a second look from other hair stylists and they all confirmed that my roots have hair color banding. And now it'll cost me a lot more money now to get a color correction to fix it at a different salon. I do not feel comfortable going back to Rebecca to get it fixed because of the damages done already. read more

Great salon in Marina! I highly recommend going to this salon if you live in the area or close by. I came in around 7PM and had an appointment I made the day before by calling in over the phone. I had to wait a bit since they were finishing up another person but it was really nice that they gave out wine! They also have other drinks and snacks in the salon too which is nice. I asked for a long layered wolf cut and I'm really happy with how it came out! My hair is also super dry and she did a deep condition for me. My hair is pretty long so the total came out to $100 which I thought was very reasonable! My hair stylist gave me her business card for a free trim for my fringe!
