Fantastic course! Finally got to play it and it didn't disappoint. One of the finest courses in the desert.

This course is set in an area with lots of elevation changes and some mountains. You can even see…read moremountain goats on some of the peaks, very cool! The course itself is demanding, lots of waste areas that you need to avoid. The conditions were good the day we played. The greens were excellent. I think that the clubhouse is under construction, along with other improvements. They were serving lunch and breakfast. Highly recommend the breakfast burrito. I would definitely come back and see how it develops.

I called ahead to verify if the rumors were correct about how bad this course had declined. Spoke…read morewith Claudia who informed me it was in "excellent" shape. It was not. The beauty of the course, and I've played it several times in the past decade, is completely ruined by all the recent home construction which has obviously been left derelict for a year or more. Literally rotting frames of what look to be small homes or condos. Such an eyesore. The course is not well maintained except maybe the fairways on back nine. Greens are burned out everywhere. Ball marks everywhere on the greens (this is more on the customer than maintenance...but no one is even trying to clean up the mess obviously). Tee boxes haven't had a divot filled yet n weeks. As a well travelled golfer I expect a heads up when greens have been punched and sanded before I book a tee time...especially when I take the time to call and ask about conditions. Shame on you for wasting my time and money. I recommended this course to my friends who drive six hours for a weekend of golf. Almost $600 for a foursome at 2:30 in the afternoon. So sad to see the course struggling to provide value to paying customers or even preparing them for the disaster they are about to encounter. And to top it off some lazy marshal dropped by to ask us to play the front 9 again since it was playing so slow (5 1/2 hours round)...what golfer would chose to not play all 18 holes. Idiot. Less than one star review but that's not an option on yelp

Not the nicest of Golf experiences as I feel like they built a golf course on top of a dump site…read more The desert is more like where they have a lot of refuge trash that was dumped and never cleaned up. Also, there were zero shade trees so half the year will be unbearable direct son and the other half will be annoyingly windy. There are many more options available in the desert that you will appreciate spending a little bit more money for a better experience. This course simply poor maintained and has very limited amenities, bathrooms are disgusting, and range is low end.

Played in the morning in November. They had recently over seeded the south course for the winter…read more North course closed as per normal schedule. The staff were great and helped us scoot out when we got there real close to our time. The course had that southern look with dormant Bermuda rough and nice green fairways and greens. Overall conditions were great. The greens were not super fast, but they were smooth and actually probably nicer than the Marriott shadow ridge course down the road. Course was fun and had appropriate challenge. Some of the bunkers and waste areas were a little rough around the edges but don't hit it in there! Scenery was also beautiful. Nicer I thought than the view from within a Palm Desert housing development. We didn't get a chance to use the driving range but looked to be pretty sizable with grass hitting area and large practice green.
