Love this course , greens were in mint condition this time of year, stuff was great and friendly.

This place is now and all but our cart dies on hole 14, we waited 30 minutes to get a new cart. Called pro shop 7 times and no answer. The other two some had to drive out and talk to started to get us a new cart. Then when we were on hole 18, the sprinklers turned on as we are hitting out shots. After the round we went to talk to someone at the pro shop and it was closed.... Robert the closer was nice and tried to assist us but this whole place needs to do better. My buddy and I played this course two years in a row over our annual Guys Weekend event n the desert. This course is part of Fantasy Springs Casino, tucked behind their parking lot. 18 holes, par 72, and quite challenging with fast greens, unforgiving chaparral instead of rough and tight fairways. The turf was well watered and in excellent condition and the greens were in very good shape. The cart girls kept the drinks flowing but there is no main clubhouse. Only a couple of portable buildings. Competitive green fees and a nice staff, too. read more

We were told that this course was on Indian land... and there was no poisoning of animals... yet, there is poison traps on the course!!! Frustrating we were lied to. I know most golfers don't care if animals are tortured for their fun... but sore of us do. read more

Played here yesterday with a group of family and friends for my birthday and all had a good time. Don't be fooled by the drive up and the trailer clubhouse. The course was well maintained and greens were immaculate. Staff was friendly from check in to the bag / cart attendants to the starter. First tee box presented an impressive view. Many challenging holes but if you miss hit you can still correct and get up and down. Pretty water hazards and great views of the mountains. Overall great course for low and high handicappers. Waste of time and staff is lazy. I called this morning to book a tee time in the afternoon after lunch. They said the last tee time was at 2 PM. I said perfect. I'll see you then. I came over about 1:45 PM and stood in the pro shop behind someone sitting in a chair watching 16 candles on TV while another employee sat by the shoes on his phone. After a few minutes, I asked if they work there which they responded that they did and asked what I wanted. I said I had called earlier and wanted to book their 2 o'clock tee time. I was told that because it was slow today, they had shut down early, and put all the carts away, but I could play tomorrow. I said I couldn't play tomorrow, but all I needed was a cart and could play and return it at the end of the round to which they said no we're already closed. I explained that I had called earlier and was told I could play at 2, but they said that did not matter, 'They were going home for the day and then I couldn't play.' Waste of time and gas, I will never return and will tell every golf I know to avoid. read more

Horrendously rude staff and negligent management. With so many other great courses in the Valley, give this one a pass. I purchased a round of golf for 2 of clients, myself and my husband. We were ready exactly at our tee time but had to wait for the players in front of us. We were again delayed a bit on the 2nd hole. 3rd hole, ranger came over and told us "everyone" was complaining about our pace and that it was standard golf etiquette to allow others to play through. He was rude and condescending and didn't even ask why we were behind. We had a two-some behind us and we had to wait for others in front of us. We were playing best ball and none of us had taken more than 4 shots on the 1st or 2nd hole. Rather than hassle with an obnoxious ranger, we all picked our balls up off the fairway and allowed the two-some to play through and let the matter go, then had to wait for the players to finish that hole. They were no pros and took quite some time to finish up so we could resume play from the fairway. Later, the last player in our group was putting on hole 5 when another man, who neither gave his name nor identified himself, pulled a large golf cart up to my client's cart and preceded to chew her out about our group's play and said we were holding up 100 golfers. I did not hear everything but I believe the man said something about our play not being good enough because she said to me that no matter our play, our money was the same as everyone else's and that we had paid for the right to play and not to be harrassed. She became very upset and wanted to leave with her husband then and there. My husband and I were upset as well. We had been delayed about 15 minutes by other golfers and had been bumped back a hole. We are not top golfers but we generally play 9 in under 2.25 hours, and even with the delays, we were still on that pace. Everyone was upset at that point at the horrid treatment we had received. My husband said he would rather sit out than deal with being harrassed and one of my clients said the same so we left after 6 holes. Told the pro shop manager on the way out. Said there was nothing he could do. Called and emailed the director of golf. No response. No refund. Completely ignored. Unbelievable. Avoid this customer service disaster. read more

The guy who was starting on our morning we went to play was a real loser in his position. He was condesending, angry and dissrespectful. Just weird for someone on a golf course , which we pay the green fee to enjoy a round of golf and have a nice day. Course was nice and other staff were very respectful. read more

Pros - the course is in good shape, greens are tricky but fair, bunkers are full of sand. Views of desert and palms are always available and gorgeous. The carts have Bluetooth sound and run well. Cons - There is a very specific "old school" golf culture at Eagle Falls that is super negative and pervasive throughout the staff from the time you get there until you leave. They make it clear you're not welcome, For example, they might grab your bag when walking in but they make it clear they expect a tip for touching your bag, they provide two bottles of water in your cart but there are no water stations on the course. Compare that to Desert Willow where there is ice and water every 3-4 holes. C'mon, it's over 100 degrees and I went through two bottles in about 6 holes. So after 9 I ask the guy tending carts for two more bottles. He told me I already got my two bottles and anything else I want needs to be purchased at the snack shop, he pointed to dismissively. I told him that's not right, and of course he did not care, defending this policy. The interaction with the rest of the staff was similar. The water bucket to wet the towel was empty. I asked the attendant to put water in it. He told me that was someone else's job and they're just lazy. I thought he was joking but nope. It's as if the golf staff has all made a pact to be rude to the golfers and if any one of the staff was actually nice to the golfers they'd no longer be part of their little crew. I saw this similar bad culture a few times in my 60 years of playing golf and for the most part, golf clubs have learned that treating customers with this kind of passive - aggressive disrespect is a losing formula. They don't understand this and if they do, they just don't care. The cultural changes must start at the top with the Director and implemented down to the cart gals (whom I have no opinion because I did not buy' anything from them). Eagle Falls has a long way to go to correct that culture. In the meantime, I'll go over to Desert Willow where they treat you as a valued customer with water/ice stations all around two eighteens that are as nice or better. I get the fact that Eagle Falls is part of the casino, which is where they want people to go after the round, but they don't have to be so rude that people just want to leave the property completely. My group was going to have lunch after the round at the casino but everyone wanted to get the hell away from that dismal environment asap. read more

I booked 5 tee times for a group of buddies heading down to Indio for wedding. Eagle Falls does not allow you to book earlier than 1 month in advance even for a large group like ours. I called multiple times trying to by pass the system to ensure I could book 5 tee times consecutively, each time being left with "sorry, we can't cater to that request". I monitored the tee times a few days before the 1 month out mark and noticed how quickly they booked up and realized it would be very difficult to get 5 consecutive tee times. In seeing this, I stayed up to midnight to book the tee times right when they went live. To do so I had to enter 5 different email addresses and 5 different phone numbers as the website would not allow me to book multiple tee times with the same email or phone number. I found this very frustrating and quite annoying, I've played many courses all over the world and never had such a bad experience in booking tee times. On top of this, when I called the course a few days after to confirm I had all 5 tee times, the gentlemen who answered the call in the pro shop was rude and facetious towards me. I was a little thrown back by his reaction, being in sales I did not appreciate his tone of voice with me, the customer. I've never played the course and hope my experience there will be better than the booking process. I just felt after all the effort I put in and the frustration with what I stated above that I needed to write this review. I'm looking forward to playing the course but I believe they need to change the way they operate when hosting a large group. 3 stars for now, will see how it plays out when I'm there and if they will be a better host. If so, I'll update my review but for now this has been a little ridiculous! read more

Just left the course. Tee time was 7am June 20th. After completing only 13 holes in 3 hours and 45 minutes I left. It was the group in front of us that was the problem. It was open after that. The group in front was a full hole behind and losing ground. We realized the problem after 8 holes so I called pro shop for a little help and they said they'd send someone. They sent no one out. A slow group is often to be expected but to notify pro shop and be disregarded is not the way to grow your business or maintain the customers you have. I told the bag attendant of my experience and to my dismay he told me I needed to expect to play a five hour round with groups going off every 8 minutes and no Marshall. Save your your money. This course doesn't value you. read more

My dad was lucky enough to win a contest giveaway two years in a row to Fantasy Springs which included a round of golf. Even if our game wasn't paid for, I would still call Eagle Falls the best Golf Course we have ever had the pleasure of playing. Don't be fooled by the hidden parking lot or trailer club house. The course is gorgeous and was in immaculate condition when we played. Challenging holes, fun layout, great views, and good company make for an incredible time on the course. We have played Eagle Falls 3 times now, and each time we have been impressed with the layout, course condition & pace of play. The holes have a lot of fairway undulation and many bunkers, but the bunkers can be mastered with well-placed approach shots. The greens roll true. A great golf experience. What a gem. Beautiful course in great shape. Two of us teed off at 7:15 am on a Saturday to avoid temps that were heading up to 115 degrees. We were behind a threesome and we still finished 18 in 2 hours and 20 minutes. Absolutely perfect. I also like that it's a short course(6200 yards from the white tees). No clubhouse or amenities but we don't care. The course is challenging but fair. I will be back that I can tell you. read more

This is a fabulous course. I've played it four times now. Most recently today Nov.28th. The course was in as good condition as any I've ever played with the exception of a few of the bunkers which were hard and lacking sand. I had a mediocre scoring day (18 handicapper, shot 93) but was thoroughly entertained by a playing with a very nice 77yr old gentleman from Germany who shot 74! I've played nearly all the over $100 courses in the valley and Eagle Falls ranks as one of the best and most enjoyable. In my opinion it's a "steal" at $85 weekdays. read more

Is this a nice course? Yes. Is it VERY poorly managed? YES! My weekend Golf Club signed a contract and gave Eagle Falls our Credit Card for deposit on a tournament over 7 months in advance. Out of nowhere they have cancelled our tournament. They said "we need the course that day for our high roller casino guests." We pointed out that we have a contract and deposit. They said try suing an "Indian Nation." DON'T TRUST THESE PEOPLE. read more

Driving up to Eagle Falls is somewhat hidden behind Fantasy Springs Casino and there is nothing awe inspiring when you walk up from the parking lot. Our round was $100/pp and I didn't feel the course matched the rate. Yes, the landscape surrounding the grounds is impressive when you're standing on the number one tee and coming up to 18. However, the greens on 6, 8, 12, and 17 were not in good shape at all and the course is not forgiving to high handicappers. Many of the fairways are tight and the rough is thick not making it a fun round at all. I can say I played it, but won't ever be back. read more

Located just next to Fantasy Springs Resort Casino lies this hidden gem. So imagine driving towards this large building and you see a sign that looks like it's made out of poster board telling you to turn left and right to the golf course. Pretty cheap to say the least. Then as you pull up into this concrete pad of a parking lot, you see a little double wide trailor. My expectations are still fairly low. You pay in the trailor and off you go towards the driving range. Your first image of this course is the 18th hole, immaculately layed out int ohe palm springs dessert with its signature water fall flowing gracefully next to the cart path. My expections are starting to rise. Then as you drive a little bit more the site of the hideous trailor is gone and now you are encountered with a finely manicure driving range with a large putting green. Overall, don't judge this course by it's entry or parking lot, but definitely come out to this course because it is a gem in palm springs. Tee boxes were perfect, fairways were green and fast, and greens were true. For the price during it's high season of $75 is a steal. Great course, great condition, and great price. Kudos to the crew to keep this course looking and playing the way it is. Would've had 5 stars. Only complete, I'm guessing it's a staple in palm springs, but my only complaint forget the guys cleaning up your clubs and the bag drop. My clubs were cleaner before I gave it to them at the end of my round. Good job and great course other wise. read more

Great golf course! I was here recently working on a film and found myself in awe of how stunning this course was. When my husband came, he played 18-holes. Depending on the time of year you are here, prices will vary. Weekend prices were $49 for now, June, which will be the cheapest because of the heat. While the daily temperatures can easily sore to 115, if you make yourself a 7am tee-time, you will not be overwhelmed by the weather. The course is diverse, and while it is hard, it is not impossible. The grass was beautifully kept, and the lakes and waterfalls were gorgeous. read more

This was a way good golf course. Not their fault that I forgot how to putt . . . Temporary clubhouse is serviceable and the staff is first-rate. They manage their tee times well and we never had to wait on the course. The rough is a ball eater here! Keep that ball in play. This is a beautiful, well-maintained course but, if you're concerned about Covid precautions, this would not be the place for you. We asked when making the reservation if we could ride in separate carts and were told yes. But, when we got there, they said they were too busy to give us separate carts. Several in our group of 8 would not play without separate carts. We even asked if we could pay for it. Eight of us play all season at various courses throughout the desert and this is the only one that would not allow separate carts. Also the only one that has not altered the cups for Covid safety and expects raking of the sand traps. It would be given 5 stars if not for their lack of concern towards the virus and customer service attitude. read more

This course is great! The greens are immaculate, tee times are on time, club house employees are friendly and engaging, the marshall keeps his distance and is always aware of pace of play. So far it is my favorite course in Palm Desert. read more

We never got to course. Matt in the pro shop rudely let us know no individual carts during the virus. His reason, while wearing a mask, was because he said so. Curious we were standing on stickers promoting social distancing, talking to someone wearing a mask, that we have to ride 18" apart in mutual carts. Not safe at fantasy springs. read more

My friends and I played this course over the weekend. It was our first time playing Eagle Falls. We enjoyed every minute here! We have played everywhere including golf courses in California, Nevada, Hawaii, Mexico and some parts of Asia. This is a great golf course period. Everything from the condition of the course, design and great service from the staff. I highly recommend this golf course to anyone that love the game. We will definitely come back soon. You don't want to go there as a group of 12 or more golfers as they insist that one golfer pay all the green fees. It's a arbitrary rule imposed by the director of golf himself who was unbending even when I explained that we were not arriving all at once. This of course places the responsibility for collecting all the money from the other players on the person who organizes the golf outing. Yesterday that was me and the net result was confusion of which I had the full share. I now have to take the money in the form of checks and cash to the bank as the total collected was $1,045. As noted above I explained to the director of golf that we were not arriving all at once. This would have required staff, and there were five of them and two checkin machines, to do what I would consider their job. Our group came in eight different cars over a period of 30 minutes. I seriously doubt that this would have over burdened staff. The net result was, Eagle Falls golf course was the last place I wanted to be at and my golf game suffered for it. When I recounted this tale to the staff of our own private club they could not believe it just laughed. I've arranged golf outing in courses in and out of the USA and this has never happened to me until yesterday. I'm not going back to Eagle Falls golf course as I believe there is a responsibility of any golf course to make the golfer feel welcome and to enhance that golfers enjoyment of the day. A bit disappointed with the unfriendly and arbitrary nature of the staff once you check-in at the clubhouse. Began by confusion about accessing the driving range, where I was "schooled" by the starter about his needs, and the subsequently denial of most of our group of 12 the convenience of talking golf carts to the range. Really? Starter at hole #1 was not equipped with any tees (none in the carts), towels or ball markers, commenting they would have to bump rates to $135 (from $87) if such amenities were offered. This was capped off with the one marshall we met on hole #5 who told us we need to play "ready golf" as we awaited in the fairway for the green to clear. This after being doubled up on every hole, and a subsequent 5 hour round. Never saw another marshall. Painfully slow round and the most discourteous staff I have ever encountered. We witnessed players exiting the course on the backside. I envied them a bit. I'm accustomed to a more polite, player friendly experience. Terra Lago does not put such a premium on such an experience. read more

I have golfed 70% of the Valley courses and always try and get out to Eagle Falls when I'm here in vacation. Don't be fooled by the Atco trailer clubhouse and cafe, over the bridge lays a beautiful practice facility and a wonderful course for all handicaps. Lots of elevation and distance variations between tees allow everyone to play and the layout is about as good as it gets. Take the time to head towards Indio off the I-10 to Eagle Falls while in the Palm Springs area, you'll save a dollar and be pleasantly surprised. read more

I'm going to echo the poor reviews that have been posted. The owners of this golf course don't want to attract real golfers. I think others have had similar experiences because on a holiday week, there were only about 20 cars in the parking lot. No jr rate, no sr rate (really?), no walkers allowed, and my favorite: absolutely no putting on the practice green after your round. All with any authority were either blatantly rude or had the attitude that they don't make the rules. It's just not a place anyone would want to go to more than once after they experienced what I did. Perhaps the disgruntled people enforcing the ridiculous rules were on holiday during the five star review that's posted here. You have been warned...it ain't worth the drive out there for what u get and u wouldn't want to support them for how they act!! read more
