Coconut Glen's is a must-try, and I understand why it's so popular. This stand offers vegan ice cream, where whole milk is substituted with coconut milk, giving it a slightly different but refreshing taste. I was worried the texture would be grainy, but I was absolutely wrong. I ordered a small coconut (their signature flavor) and a strawberry banana scoop, and to my surprise, it was so deliciously creamy. It is exactly what you need halfway through your Road to Hana detour. The person working the stand was really nice, and there are tables available around the truck. The owner also had a cute dog laying out in the sun, which was cute to see.

Fill up gas. There are cold cut sandwiches too however, just right next to that store. There are a bunch of food trucks that you can try, which is amazing.. I love the service of this place in general because it's in the little town and everybody over. There are friendly know everybody has drove a couple of hours to get there and they're gonna drive back again. It's a chill and cool vibe atmosphere and ambience there.

Just right in the middle of the rainforest, making it such a peaceful spot to relax and recharge. The property is spacious, with a cute farm store and an open-air pizza area that adds to the charm. I was surprised when we came in to a mostly restaurant and we were asked if we had reservations. I can understand more now why they might need to go by reservations. The view is one of the best I'd ever seen and to dine here during sunset was wonderful and so worthwhile. Just wow. And the whole ambience is so free flowing and calm. Now the food. OH MY GOODNESS IT IS GOOD. I had a pasta that felt like a delicate and expertly crafted pasta primavera. We thoroughly enjoyed our entrees. They're also kid friendly and have a kids menu, including crayons to color with and high chairs available. As a parent this is so crucial. Today, Hasegawa lives up to its name. The prices are as reasonable as they can get for its remote location and local Maui coffee is sold at a great value. So, instead of picking up a magnet somewhere to take home, Hasegawa is a great opportunity to get something delicious and support a small local producer.
