Went there finally after my sister keep mentioning how great this place is and great flavor. Sadly after my first visit today I was not impressed at all with the food flavor and portion. The customer service was great though. I ordered the Hot dog, side fries, coffee shake and strawberry banana milkshake today for our first visit and I was not impressed at all. The hot dog I ordered was a little on the burnt side and because of that it has a flame burnt flavor that was unappetizing to the taste buds. Our fries portion was a little on the small side, however taste good. Because we noticed how busy it was and also the fact we are in a hurry we decide not to bring it to the attention of the team member. The coffee shake was amazing for me, not to bold of a coffee flavor it was great, however I could not say the same for the strawnana (Strawberry Banana) milkshake; it was missing the strawberry flavor, it was more like drinking milk with ice :( My sister ordered their burger and I do think it's on the small side, compare to BurgerFi who serves awesome burger, good portion size and pile up on the fries with great tasting shakes I am a little disappointed with my experience here today. I might give this place another chance.. but not soon. That burnt hotdog left a weird taste in my mouth. read more

Got to meet up with a couple of friends here because they suggested we should go, and I am glad we did. It's hard to describe what my wife didn't but she was on point. After two burgers, a shared order of cheese fries, and a frozen custard, I was pretty full. Watch out if you get the smoke shack burger though - the peppers which come on it are pretty spicy. I like it spicy, but others dont. These a la carte places are starting to pop up more and more it seems. It was on the expensive side when it was all said and done, but a nice place to go to every once in a while. If I go back, it will be to try their hot dogs or other frozen custard treats. I had a Chicken-Apple Dog but added the fried shallots and their cheesy sauce. I was in a junk food mood. I also got their cheese fries. I ordered to go so I was a little worried about how it would hold up with a 10 min drive. First off, the cashier was very friendly. She apologized for the wait when it was my turn, but I was in no hurry because I wasn't familiar with the menu. The BOH staff was very organized and working hard. The kitchen looked clean so that's always a plus :) The chicken dog was awesome. It wasn't soggy from the drive. The fries were pretty good. I got a lot of tiny ones so dipping in the sauce was pretty hard. Their cheese sauce is very yummy. I used the extra to dip my hotdog. The shallots kept falling off my dog, but they were quite tasty. Overall very happy. They were pretty pricey, but I'd go back for a fix when a craving hit me again. I want to try their shakes. I'm a big fan of their competitor Burger Fi and they're still #1 because they offer more spice with they menu. read more

But when an order is placed, and it is not ready, or in this case, you place it on a shelf - and it is not there - offer the customer an apology, or something for their trouble while they have to wait and be further delayed on their lunch hour. Another newly found winner in this part of town. Honestly these are some of the best burgers I've ever had. Juicy and prepped with a special mayo type sauce that is just so amazingly good. Plus the fries are a must. Nothing here is frozen and u can tell, except of course for their shakes and custards which are suppose to be, and also equally as delicious. The atmosphere is also pleasant. Even in the summer time is ok to eat outside under the lights and canopy as they have the spray fans going on and it's quite comfortable. I've been following Shake Shack from their inception back in 2004'ish and have always been a fan if the "brand" that Danny Myers created. When I found out they would be opening in my home town in Boca Raton, I was as excited as a 9 year old girl finding out Katy Perry was in town. I've been here several times since they opened but haven't written a review that really captured this place. I came in and was greeted immediately by the cashier. I ordered the Shake Stack (Shack burger with a stuffed mushroom on top). I'm trying to mind my intake of bread so I requested the burger to come in a lettuce wrap. The cashier asked me if I had a food allergy or if it was simply a preference. I thought that was awesome. They train these kids so well that they know all about food allergies etc and I have so much respect for that especially in today's landscape of gluten crazies. (No disrespect to the celiac folks) I also order their "Shack X IPA" while I waited. I believe it's a collab with Brooklyn Brewing and it's hard to mess with Brooklyn Brewing. It's a bit on the piney side of an IPA but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Was refreshing especially escaping the 90+ degree heat outside. As I was waiting for my food, the manager came up and said hello and asked how I was enjoying my beer. (Nice touch) He was super friendly and asked me what I ordered and he assured me id enjoy it because it's not what I'd normally order. My food arrived and I dug in. HOLY MACKEREL I was in heaven. There is seriously something in their meat and/or shack sauce that makes this stuff so crave able. Umami!!! The added touch of the stuffed shroom with two different cheeses oozing over my burger was literally like icing in my cake(burger). A+ to the food and and A++ to the staff. I enjoyed a late lunch today at this Shake Shack and it was very good. My vanilla toffee milk shake was pure heaven. My fries were crispy and delicious. My Smokestack burger had amazing bacon, but the rest of the burger was average and on the skimpy side. I will be back for another shake and perhaps a burger. This has become my favorite burger place in south Florida. I get the single Shack burger and the ingredients are very fresh and flavorful and are in perfect proportion to each other. When you bite in you taste just the right amount of everything. I've recommended this place to three other people and they all came back saying the same thing! I've never been a cheese fry guy but they have a great cheese sauce on theirs. Also, the Boca location has a concrete called the Mizners Muse. I was a little wary about it as it has cinnamon in it. I've lived in Boca for 11 years now and I remember when this joint was going up. I'm pretty sure I've heard of it here and there but have never stopped in until yesterday. The wait and the atmosphere was not to my liking but the food was good. I'm going to have to come back on a cheat day to try one of the concrete's ;) Since my boyfriend, roommate and his date went to see the new Suicide Squad movie at the theater we decided to finish the night with some burgers. We each tried something different off of the simple menu, which was cool. My boyfriend had the regular burger, I tried the chicken dog, my roommate got the bacon burger and his date for the (deep fried) portobello burger. They put a caution sticker on that mushroom burger because it comes out so hot and the oil squeezes out, definitely be cautious lol! I really liked the chicken dog and the little chopped red peppers I ordered on the side. The only thing that made this review lower than a 5 was the fact that there were little monster children just running a muck around the restaurant and we had to stand waiting for our food forever. Amazing burger. However, make sure you order rare with no salt to get the best experience. I have been to the original location in NY and the one in South Beach. For some reason, this one likes to make it more salty then the other ones, so no salt makes it perfect like it is in NY or SOBE. Shake Shack vs In-N-Out: Here's the verdict! I'm from Cali and grew up on In-N-Out. I love In-N-Out! My boyfriend, who is from Miami, has been wanting me to try Shake Shack forever because he thinks it's a lot better. Now mind you, I was very offended when he said that haha. It's with a heavy heart, I have to say that I must agree that Shake Shack's burger does taste better The bun is sweet and the patty is not as dense and is less greasy. We joined some friends to chow down on burgers, fries, and custard ice cream. The smoke shack burger is juicy and greasy topped with bacon and the very own shake shack sauce. Chris and I split an order of cheese fries and the Mizner's Muse. The Muse consisted of vanilla custard ice cream, strawberry puree, cheesecake blondie, and cinnamon marshmallow sauce. Simply woah. It was purely ridiculous. I was surprised that the size of the items weren't bigger with it being an a la carte menu. The prices are a little pricey for what it's worth. The staff, however, cleaned up our table and asked us if we needed anything else. You normally don't get that at the usual burger and/or hot dog stop. I had been told many good things about this place, first when I was in NYC, but we never had time to try it out. When I was down in Florida for vacation and my friend suggested that we go, I was pretty excited. When I saw their shake of the day was pear and caramel, I knew right away I would like the place. But I didn't have a burger :) We came for cheese fries and a milkshake. The cheese fries were good - and contrary to the photos on here, they are no longer crinkle cut fries. They are now fresh cut fries with a yummy cheddar/American blend sauce unlike anything I've tried before - very good. My husband's milkshake was thick and good - but their custard is definitely more like soft serve than anything else. Every single employee ignored us while there were bags of take-out sitting there. Finally one employee went to the bags and asked something I couldn't hear and gave out one of the numerous bags. Finally an employee explained that those bags were Uber pick-up and they were behind on orders but when an online order was ready it would be placed behind us on a shelf against the wall.
