Amazing! First time at shake shack a couple days ago and I'm in love. I got the regular shack burger, cheese fries, and hot dog. The best tasting cheese dip I've ever had, better than Taco Bell's (my guilty pleasure). Employees are nice, fast, to the point and my order was done in 4 minutes upon ordering. I don't have a shake shack near me and had to drive 45 minutes for this and yes it was worth it. The best fast food I've ever had, and its fresh. Going there again soon because I crave it on a daily basis. read more

My go-to is the SmokeShack and I was very pleased with it today, along with the fries. The fries were fresh, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. I also tried the strawberry shake for the first time and it was great. Thick, but not too thick. There were a good amount of people as it was lunch time (a little before 1pm), but our order came out in less than 10 mins. The cashier was friendly, and the restaurant was clean. read more

Update: I'm going to have say good bye to shake shack Burbank for a while. As I was waiting for my food today I saw a staff member handle trash bins outside and then handle food bags without sanitizing. The food is awesome, but the personnel management leaves much to be desired. Original review: This place is hit or miss. Sometimes the burgers are awesome, but sometimes they don't taste that great. Same with the fries. I've had staff forget to add napkins or even my iced tea and some of them have a kind of passive aggressive attitude while others are super friendly. Recently, I had one of them just flat out ignore me even though I was right in front of the plastic shield. I'll keep going back because the food is really good most of the time, just wish customer service was 100% good all of the time. This is not the shake shack I know and love. This company has grown too fast for its own good. I've been to many-a shake shack. Been to the one in nyc. This location serves food that's wildly inconsistent, for fast food is quite pitiful actually. They outsourced their cashiers to self serve computers. That's fine... but instead of higher quality control in the kitchen they seem to have just pocketed the money. I've received old fries, soggy buns, chicken nuggets that McDonald's wouldn't serve. This place is grossly overrated and for the life of me, I can't understand the hype about this place. This is a burger joint. Yes, it may be a neat looking restaurant, but at the end, it's still a burger joint. I ordered 4 burgers, 2 fries, and 2 coke for my family and it came to a whopping $40. Burgers from In-n-Out, Five Guys, and Fatburgers taste better. Heck, I would have spent significantly less if I would have gone to In-n-Out. I have tried shake shack in America twice and once in London, so far the American shake shacks have disappointed me. The reason I give this place a two stars is because of how small their burgers are compared to their prices. I got the cheese burger and the bacon cheese fries and I'm still hungry. First timer! My gf and I were originally supposed to go to Fuddruckers tonight but found out it was closed. So we tried Shake Shack. We walked in and it was a bit busy. We had a choice to order on their tablets (card only) or with a cashier. We decided to order on the tablet. While we were ordering, a worker checked on us to see if we were OK and needed any help. I thought that was nice. We ordered the ShackBurger, SmokeShackBurger, Fries and a drink. We dined in so we found a table. It was dirty so I went to grab some napkins to wipe it down. Another worker noticed and asked if we wanted him to wipe it down again and of course we said yes. I thought that was nice again. He could have just ignored me and went about his way and didn't have to wipe the table. Anyways, there's 4 TV's in each corner for your entertainment. It took about 9 mins for our food to be ready. Finally, got our food and the ladies up front giving out the food were nice and friendly. Good food and customer service but it's overpriced (so a Star off). So I was very happy when I heard that this place had opened close to home unfortunately I had a bad experience . The cashier was extremely rude to me when I checked my order and I was missing an item she kept giving me attitude and made it seem that it was my fault I asked to speak to the manager she just looked at another co worker and rolled her eyes , I overheard her say "dumb n*gger" under her breath. Ordered through Postmates, spent around $70 total for 4 grilled cheese, a burger, fries, and shakes. Every single grilled cheese was burnt completely black. I called the manager and let him know, he apologized and offered to refund me for the grilled cheese but he had to look into it and call me back. He never called back, this was 2 days ago and we never got refunded. I could've made grilled cheese at my house that were WAY better, bigger and not burnt to a crisp. First Shake Shack I've been to that had self ordering kiosk. It's really simple to order and food is sent out in a orderly fashion. We went during lunch time and were served quickly and the food was hot. I'm happy to see that Shake Shack has a gluten free bun option. read more

Just tried Shake Shack the other night with my dad, to see what the hype is all about. Never going back again, because it is overrated. I will stick to my In n Out and pay about half of what I did for my dad and I. I felt bad for my dad, his burger was extremely salty, and mine was far to spicy to even enjoy. I love spicy food, but this burger was not even edible without making sick to my stomach. I really don't know if I will look forward to a Chick fil A down the street from Whole Foods. I would rather pay extra for "organic food" than put that junk into my body. I already know it's fast food, but this burger joint is disappointing. Who in the world pays $5 + for a pint sized shake? Who pay's $3+ for fries, when I can get two fries for my dad and I at In n Out for the same price? We ordered three burgers the only difference is mine had grilled onions. I'm an executive chef and know my way around a kitchen. After eating the meal within in four hours I was violently SICK! I don't know who's running there kitchen or who is supervising health dept practices but something was clearly wrong!! Went here today for the first time. Nice location, located near two free parking garages in Downtown Burbank. I came at exactly noon and was expecting a rush, I was pleasantly surprised to see there wasn't. You order your food on these little kiosks and you get a text message once your food is ready to go. I only had to wait about 5 minutes for my meal. There were plenty of open tables to sit so I decided to dine in. A gentleman who was probably the manager was walking around asking everyone how their food was and if they needed anything. He was super friendly and opened the door for each person as they left, wish I would've gotten his name. The restaurant itself was very clean and as soon as individuals left their tables a staff member would come and tidy up right away. Great spot to get Shake Shack and not have to deal with heavy crowds, long wait, or terrible parking (Hollywood location). Will definitely be back in the future when I am flying in or out of the Burbank airport. read more

Walked in and ordered on the iPad which was nice and easy. The seats inside are not comfortable but wasn't a big deal. First time eating at any Shake Shack. I brought it back to the hotel to watch the game. The crinkle cut fries were cooked perfectly a little cold from the walk back. So I have been to Shake Shack a few times before and I have to say I am always impressed with the quality of the burgers here! The quality of the meat is obviously better than a fast food joint as it's cooked to perfection, not over cooked, and s much flavor with every bite. My personal favorite has to be the Shack Stack. The portobello mushroom is perfectly fried adding a nice crunchy texture to their juicy burger. I also tried their So Cal exclusive burger. It was exactly as described with tons of melted cheese mixed in with mustard and onions and bacon. There was an after taste of beer and as you can read this is a very greasy burger, so not for me but glad I tried it. The place is beautiful, clean, and the parking at this location was not difficult for me when I came (although you do have to pay as it is metered). The only down side I had with my experience here was the staff I spoke to at the register. I'm not sure if he was rushing me because he was trying to keep the pace fast or he was at the end of a long day, but his attitude definitely brought down my experience here a bit today. Overall I am still very happy with Shake shack and hope to come back again soon. read more

At a little over $24, you get a burger, 6 pc chicken bites as small as the size of your thumb print, where you run out of the meat before you run out of the dipping sauce, crinkle-cut fries the size of half the amount of In-N-Out fries or a small McDonald fries, small custard ice cream (which actually taste good and is a decent size, but the overpriced), and small strawberry mint lemonade. Hmm... there's a lot to be desired at this place. I nearly popped my eyes out seeing the total price. Ugh... and I finished my food (chicken bites 1/2 the fries and drink in less than 5 mins.)
