I ordered 3 burgers and a hotdog with fries and a milkshake. I stayed in line waiting to be called for 30 MINUTES! I saw new customers all getting their food before mine. I asked 3 workers if my food was called and I missed it all within 10-15 minutes of eachother and they all said no. Until finally some lady got my name and ignored me for 5 minutes and grabbed a bag that had been sitting there for 20 minutes IT WAS MINE THE ENTIRE TIME. I tried to talk to the lady that handed it to me and ask why I was never told my order was done and she walked away while i was speaking. The food and fries were good, but my experience at Shake Shack was disappointing because of how the staff treated each other. While I was waiting for my cheese fries, I witnessed two employees arguing. One had accidentally burned the other with hot cheese, and instead of apologizing, she got defensive and started blaming the other person for "talking too much." It was really upsetting to watch, the employee who got burned was clearly hurt, yet the one who caused the accident didn't say sorry and acted like she was the victim. The customer service here is the worst I've ever received from Shake Shack. They are quite slow when it comes to cooking your meal. A single order requires a minimum of 8-10 minutes to prepare. I've never been more unsatisfied with service or meal quality in my life. I had a good hour or two to spare before my next flight and my terminal was close by, so I decided to relax and grab a quick bite to eat. This time I went with the Chicken Shack (~$8) and Fries (~$3). Service was a bit slow but they were busy. I definitely recommend stopping by only if you have at least 30 minutes or more before your boarding time. The Chicken Shack was delicious! The chicken was crispy, tender, and juicy. It tasted just like all the others I've had and the Fries enhanced the dish, as well. They weren't too salty and complemented the sandwich well! I had breakfast at Shake Shack in Terminal C at DFW this morning and there were numerous issues. First, the cashier could not have been less friendly. The staff had no sense of urgency, this is an airport and people are trying to make their flights. My breakfast sandwich took more than ten minutes, and others were constantly asking for their meals while needing to make their flights. The sandwich was decent, but the coffee as bitter as can be. Clean your equipment already!!! I would not recommend Shake Shack. The line at Einstein across the way may seem long, but it will move much quicker and you'll get a better meal and coffee. read more
