Last night was the third time (will be my last time) I've been to Shake Shack. Each time I've come I ordered the chicken sandwich and fries. It's not bad and it's not very good either. It's just okay. Ordered a s'mores Concrete this visit. Again, it was just okay. Not bad not very good. Just not impressed at all. I like the decor of the restaurant, love the Shuffleboard Table. Ordering was easy and people were nice. The food was good, the meat was very well prepared and nice and hot. Wasn't sure why most tables were dirty but eventually found a clean one. So, I'd be surprised this is what Danny Meyer had in mind. Service was nice, food was embarrassing. I'm embarrassed I paid for it. Burger was ok, brioche bun is probably what people like. Price point should be more like 3.99. My son had chicken nuggets and there flat out bad. More breading than chicken and about the size of small 4 grapes. food is really good, but once we ordered on the kiosk and chose take-out for them to text us when our order is ready, they came out with dine-in instead, it took another extra 10minutes when we already waited for awhile. we found out that they forgot something in our order again, 2 mistakes in one try, they didnt bother to double check. the servers and the cashiers are really kind but the kitchen staff don't know what they're doing. read more

First timer. Bun is super soft and moist. The meat is seasoned just right and the ratio of lettuce tomato sauce cheese-and, added raw onions and pickles are perfect. The water is supposedly triple filtered. They have a few large flatscreen televisions with music playing that isn't too loud. But the place is very clean and I will certainly be back to try and enjoy other things than this wonderful burger. Oh, and the employees are very kind, welcoming and knowledgeable of the menu. I had this for dinner tonight with my family and woke with horrible stomach pain and have been tossing my cookies ever since- the contents? This burger and fries. Not sure what it was but it sure was something. Ralphing aside, the Dinner for 2 adults and one child was $50. I'm sorry but for two burgers and a shared cheese fry, drinks and a chicken box of tiny chicken chunks...? Shake Shack is a brand that has found itself in the Burger War for the best burger joint in the nation. And with the likes of In N Out, and Five Guys, I'm here to say this: It stands its own ground against these top tier burger joints. I just want to say the thing that stood out most to me was how well cooked the patty was. It was soft, had flavor, and was downright delicious. The tomato, lettuce, and sauce accompanying the patty was just simply a delight. The cheese fries were good as well, and the chocolate shake was superb. My only complaint is the portion and pricing. It is not cheaper than In N Out, and doesnt provide as much as Five Guys for what you pay. But if you want quality, you are certainly getting it. So what's my verdict on Shake Shack? Its a burger joint that belongs in the top tier amongst the likes of In N Out and Five Guys. Would I prefer it over the aforementioned two? I honestly don't know. Friendly service and open late which is a huge plus for me when I am in the area for business meetings since they are located near business complexes. Cute modern décor, ample seating, high ceilings makes eating burgers and fries a more grown-up experience. I didn't realize this place opened up in the south bay. I just happend to be driving by and noticed the new building right on Rosecrans. We came on a weekday probably around lunch time. The line was out the door but it was moving pretty quick. We ordered the Shack burger to go. The smoke shack burger, shroon burger, fries, cheese fries, black & white shake, smore cookie dough chocolate custard to eat there. The total came out to $40 for 3 meals. The smoke shack was okay, the shroon burger was surprisingly good. I really like the cheese fries because it was the gooey type of cheese and it stayed melted. The shake was good and so was the custard. I'll come back again to try the other stuff on the menu and I'll probably get the cheese fries again. read more

Check your take out order before you leave the store. I ordered a double shackburger, cheese burger, smokeshack and fries to go through their mobile app. Got a message saying order ready for pick up. I went to the store but cashier said not ready. Waited more than 10 minutes and finally got my bag. After I drove home I found out that the double shackburger I got was a single. Better than the usual west coast Shake Shacks, with seemingly better laid out seating for groups and families, plus a decent TV arrangement. That said, I'm not entirely sure it's worth 4 stars... the west coast locations just seem to be lacking vs. the original ones in New York? However, it's more than decent enough to justify rounding up from 3.5 stars, at least so far. I can imagine it going either way, especially if service gets worse when they're busy. read more

A+ Tastes just like my first SS in New York. I love Shake Shack and I love this location. Parking is rough, but the parking attendants are pretty cool and helpful. -Fries are perfectly cooked. Crunchy on the outside, cooked well on the inside. -Buns are buttery and melt into nothing. -Meat is juicy and flavorful. -I find myself skimped on lettuce every once in a while, so I just ask for extra. My 2nd visit and still SHAKE SHACK needs to improve on QUANTY of the food/drink they serve :( The Salted Carmel was delicious but if you order the larger shake then SS should fill the white non see through cup to the top and give you the ounces you pay EXTRA for vs the smaller see through cup. $5.90 lets at $6.00 is a lil pricey for a drink that's not full :( My last visit was when chicken nuggets came out and they were YUMMY but then the same thing with the fries did not give you your money's worth. I'm pretty sure with the prices they charge the business makes a pretty penny so why not give the CUSTOMER what they pay for. Don't eat out much due to tight budget but I do enjoy a tasty drink or meal every now and then. And I don't mind spending my hard earned dollars on a fair and decent meal . read more

The service was horrible, we placed an order from their app, got their and they had us waiting for 30 min. Even tho the food was ready to go in the box. When we got back found the Order was missing couple of burgers and specialty fries. The quality controls needs to be better when you pay $95 for burgers, least they can do make sure the food order is complete. To make the matter worse, food didn't taste that good either. I've been wanting to try Shake Shack for a while, and I finally did. I can honestly say the food is good, but not great. The service was very pleasant with only take out options due to covid. The cashier helped us choose our burgers and explained key differences. The burgers are much smaller than I thought they would be. The flavor was good and everything seemed very fresh, but not sure it was worth the price. I also had a cookies n cream shake which was decent. Can't say I would go back soon but I might go back and try a double patty burger. read more

I don't understand the hype for this place. Or maybe it is all just hype. I've tried it in NY, in Vegas, and now in LA and everytime i leave hungry and confused. The burgers are pretty small but they are like $9. I like the burgers and would probably go back if they were a third of the price. I prefer the habit or in n out where i can get a burger that leaves me more satisfied and is way more affordable. This is my local go to Shake Shack. The burgers are good but a bit greasy compared to In N Out. The price is higher - but worth it once in awhile. The best thing that they have is the milk shakes by far - the chocolate ones are a solid choice. Also the hot dogs are pretty good - Chicago one is perfect. Worst customer service. Our family ordered through their app which said it would take 10 minutes to complete. We arrived early for curbside pickup and waited an additional 15 minutes after the order was supposed to be ready until we went out to ask about our order. At this point we see a long line of angry customers asking about their orders. The staff tells us the actual wait time was 75 minutes said it would take another 20 minutes to get our order. If there's going to be a huge delay in filling orders at least have the courtesy to tell your customers or fix the app. Your burgers are good but not good enough that I'm waiting 75 minutes for it. Not even offering people complimentary fries or a burger. It's Christmas time shake shack. We support your business but you do not care about your customers. read more

This is based on just the food as our supervisor treated us to lunch and ordered take-out. I got the Veggie Shack burger. Ordered it vegan and lettuce wrapped. Their original bun is not vegan. On their IG they said that in order to get it vegan you need a gluten free bun and opt out of the cheese(obviously). The burger was surprisingly so good! It had so much flavor and the consistency of the bean patty was not too mushy. The only con was the burger was too small, but definitely getting this burger when I go in the future. In a bun, as the lettuce wrap was too messy to eat. Thanks Shake Shack for not forgetting about us vegan peeps and giving us an option. read more

Disappointed with poor customer service. Ordered via the little kiosks and put in my phone number to be alerted when my order was ready. It was really loud inside with kids screaming as they played the air hockey table so I decided to wait outside, keeping an eye on my phone. After about 15-20 minutes I went back inside to check and found that my food had been sitting there a long time even though I never received a text and had put in my correct phone number. I've overwhelmingly been a person that likes Shake Shack and I would say that Shake Shack is better than In N Out. It really is hard to debate, when people start to dissect cost vs quality. I personally enjoy both, but having Shake Shack being less available, it's more of an event to go, than to go to a In N Out, which is available in every city near me. In this location, the consistency is pretty straight, and service is good. The ones in Hollywood can be too crowded and can say the same in the one in glendale. If I were to pick a favorite, this one has more the space than the others. I would 5 star each one either way. Thanks for the meal! read more
