I've been to this spot a few times and the service was always on point. This time is no exception, I was certainly surprised that the place wasn't as crowded as it would usually be. Maybe it was a Tuesday afternoon I went there and the middle of the week days are usually slow. I got lunch from there and it didn't seem to be as much as I thought it would be. A Shackburger, Chicken bites, Cheese fries and root beer totaling up to $22 is not bad at all considering the usual cost of food for the franchise in general. We finally got a shake shack up on jamaica Avenue .It is a cool edition to the Avenue, right next door to Jollibee. We ordered from them yesterday thru grub hub. The food was good ,they make it just the way you like it.I asked for a chesse burger well done and that's how they did it. I also ordered some of there famous crinkle chesse fries that never disappoint me. Plus I got a spicy chicken sandwich. I had no complaints about there food ,you get that good same shake shack taste right from there jamaica Avenue branch. This location right now is tied with the one in rego park. But this one is way better then the one at lake success mall in longiland by far. It's good to see this spot on the south side of jamaica, it's definitely a good look. read more

When I came in earlier today around 2PM, the place is very clean, which is what I really love. Ordering food from here wasn't bad, just I know waiting for the food takes a long time. I was waiting 10 mins for my food but it was fine to me since the employees were busy in the back preparing the food & one was checking if people had their deliveries. I even like how you can tell the cashier your name to let them know you ordered the food. The ShakeBurger was really good, the fries were crunchy and perfect, and I loved the lemonade. As a foodie I have learned that the 50/50 chances for a new restaurant to get it right are usually at a ratio less in favor to the restaurant, and this one is on Jamaica Ave. What I'm meaning to say is I took a chance and went and didn't lose. My teens told me that there was a Shake Shack on the Ave where they go to HS. I used to work in the area and am fully aware that it it's almost impossible to navigate via as the Streets are restricted to bus and trucks only. Don't ask me how I did it but I ordered on the app, pulls right up to the kids school and tossed them inside to pick up my order. So I have no idea how anyone else is picking up their orders bc there is nowhere to park or drive- but I figured it out and got 2 burgers, a chicken sandwich, fries and 3 milkshakes and barely got out of getting a ticket like by the skin of my teeth! All in all - It tasted like shake shack. Wait, the fries tasted like they were seasoned with Old Bay, not sure if that's an in house thing but yeah great job. Definitely bring in the revenue to the community and some good burgers where there were none like ZERO. Two thumbs up even tho this is not an convenient location for food delivery or curbside i wouldn't drive there again because you can't legally but if I ever found myself walking there definitely I would try again. read more

The service from this location was phenomenal the last time I went. There was a young woman manager who took great care to make sure that my order got fulfilled and thoroughly made a system error up to me. The food is satisfying. The music is okay. And the staff are nice. All in all a pretty great location. read more

The location just opened & already there are issues. some days they are not taking cash & other days they don't have the items that's required to make the meals . Last night at around 5 I stopped in and ordered a double Shack, fries and a soda. At 5:10 I get a text stating my order was ready. I go to the front to pick it up and they said it's not ready yet. Five minutes later I ask about my order and they tell me it's not ready. I show them the text that my order was ready and they say that's wrong. Another five minutes goes by and I ask for the manager. He starts checking and finds my order. It was sitting with the delivery orders. It was in a huge bag. This was an order to eat in Shake Shack not to take out. They wasted a bag for my order. I love Shake Shack but the service at this location is horrible.
