Shakes are nice, service is friendly and the outside seating is comfortable- all in all decent fast food experience although we only had shakes.

$20 dollars for a terrible sandwich. BBQ Boneless Baby Back Rib Sandwich

I just ordered 2 of the new rib sandwiches. Absolutely not worth it and completely disappointing. Do NOT order this sandwich, there's notes of pickle, Salt not one drop of ribs character. The MCRib hands down over this 20 dollar flop.

I got the large Pomegranate Sweet Basil Lemonade and SmokeShacks. I really enjoyed the lemonade as it wasn't too sweet and I could taste just the right about of pomegranate and basil. The SmokeShacks were a bit too small for my liking but it tasted delicious. I would come here again if the food was not pricy.

It's been awhile since I had a Shake Shack burger, so I had to stop by when they're having a promotion. $5 shakes, $3 fries, and $1 drinks! We had a bogo deal on the burger so had to try it. Everything was great and fresh. The meat was thick and juicy, it was just super oily. The crinkle fries were great with no salt and we enjoyed it. Their root beer was one of the best I ever had. Good level of sweetness, rich, and super carbonated! I am glad they ensured their soda quality great! Fantastic. Parking a bit tough and burger is more oily than expected was my only negative. Everything else was great. The walk up ordering window is nice touch and glad to see they have patio dining option.

Food: 3/4 Service: 3/4 Ambiance: 4/5 Ordered smoke shake thru door dash for pick up, I arrived at the restaurant early and waited. Estimated ready time was kept delaying. After about 5-10 minutes I went up to the window and ask for my order. It had been ready and been sitting for quite some time. They need to stay on top of it. Now my fries are soft and burger was cold. Taste was ok but I would like to get more portion for the price.

Food- I ordered SmokeShack burger. It tasted good but very oily for my liking. The fries were good. Quality is good enough for the price of both burger and fries. Service- I went around 5-6pm; they took a bit long to make my order. But staff seemed friendly. Ambiance- place is clean and well-maintained with laid-back vibe.

I order a Carolina BBQ burger with fried pickles, spicy fries, regular fries, and Chick'n Bites. You order digital on a screen. The service was great. When my food was ready the staff brought it out and asked if I wanted anything else, which is very nice. I really like the taste of the Carolina BBQ burger. The fried pickles were a nice touch and the spicy fries were good. It would be great if they had something along the lines of a buffalo sauce. To add any spicy all they had was Tabasco sauce. Both the people in my party thought the Chick'n Bites were really salty. They weren't something we would eat again.

I got the special which was the French onion soup burger. Overall it was tasty. This spot is on the tiny side compared to others I have visited. Staff were friendly and helpful. I think the pick up window on the side is a nice touch. Overall a good experience.

This location is on a corner with a very small parking lot of its own. A few handicap parking spaces and maybe less than 10 regular parking. We found parking on the street and walked down. They have a self kiosk to place your order or you can go up to the counter to place your order. You can grab a number card and attach that to your order. If not, they will call your name and bring that to you. There are 2 sets of bathrooms. The woman's restroom has two stalls and a baby changing table. The other restroom is good for any gender. It also requires a code to enter. As I grow in age, my stomach has decreased. I ordered a single BBQ bacon cheeseburger with fries and a coke. That was enough for me. Hubby ordered a double with a Dubai shake. He said it was so sweet it made his jaw hurt. It was a beautiful day to sit outside in the patio, but people in their cars on the street were extremely impatient, loud, and reckless. If noise level is what you are looking for, dont sit in the patio.

Had to try the new chicken sandwich based on some vids. The sandwich is big and fillings over the soft bun, it's pretty tasty. The chicken is crisp and tender and juicy inside but a tad greasy. This is not a spicy sandwich but I feel it could have used a little cayenne.

    Truffle Burger

Shake shack, the burger joint that originated from the east coast. Came to this location a couple times and tried the: truffle burger 10/10 cheeseburger with the mushroom cheese patty 10/10 fries 10/10 limited time Dubai chocolate shake 7/10 I love that they don't salt their fries but I wish they had black pepper that I could mix with the ketchup. Everything was delicious, however, I agree with the other reviewer that the burgers at this location are small. There's also limited parking here, about 10 spots where the store front is, and additional 6 or so spots behind their parking lot.

    Strawberry shake
    Francisco M.

This location has limited parking at the private lot. But there is street parking nearby, although check for when parking is allowed in the allocated times. There's a good amount of seating outside since traffic comes amd goes. They even have heated lamps above for chillier days. The service was quick for online pickup. They even have a section dedicated for online order pickup. The strawberry shake was good. They have the standard narrow straw but you can still easily drink it. The black truffle burger was okay. Flavor-wise it's great, it's a shame the black Truffle is being discontinued. The burger meat itself was just okay. But for the price, it doesn't seem like a good deal compared to other establishments.

    Dubai chocolate shake
    Krupa S.

This is only for the limited time dubai chocolate shake, it's phenomenal and totally worth the hype if you're obsessed with pistachios and chocolate. It's fairly sweet but definitely hits the craving. The only downside is that they only sell 25 a day, and it sells out within 30 minutes of opening so if you want to try it, definitely get there early!! Highly recommend

Staff allowed to sample their unique flavor options. **To note, they offer a few vegan flavors for those with dietary restrictions**. Always a huge plus and positive! The flavors are middle eastern inspired and the details are all listed. My wife and I sampled 2 flavors and we both enjoyed our selections. The flavors are memorable. We happily decided on the Sesame Halve (vegan) & Pistachio Konafa with Chocolate Shell (+$1.00) for myself. The presentation is one of a kind! The topping with the tiny little rose is a nice aesthetic and definitely their trademark. The location offers retro and colorful style seating for 10+ customers if I had to guess . Patio seats are also offered outside. Also, OG Pac-Man arcades are available inside. I ordered the Sesame Halva which is their vegan ice cream made of Halva ice cream with sesame & coconut. OMG, I've never tasted anything like this before. I love anything that has a sesame profile. If you like that nutty, sweet, and earthy flavor this one is for you. I could taste the coconut, but it wasn't overpowering. There were also little chunks of halva in there that added a slight bit of sweetness. The texture was similar to cookie dough, but softer. Aside from the taste, I loved the simple presentation of the small rose on top of the scoop. It made it look elegant. As you can tell, I am definitely coming back and highly recommend stopping by.

The Bronte Sisters. The Jacksons... You win free ice cream on me if you recognize the pattern. Yes, that's right: these are all siblings who have seamlessly worked together in their respective fields. I raise the list to include Mia and Mark Pedersen - the brother and sister team behind the ice creamery Moo Moo Mia with locations in both Montrose and Monrovia. You won't find Mia and Mark bickering or partaking in sibling rivalry; but you WILL find them creating quality, home made ice cream for Angelinos. Mark and Mia made their way from Denmark to Los Angeles in 2009 initially working in a Danish franchise despite both having a background in ice cream-making. When Covid hit in 2020 with its path of destruction to so many businesses; Mark and Mia decided they should cut their losses and create their own company that they can rely on their decision-making and thus Moo Moo Mia was born. Moo Moo Mia strives to produce Grade-A ice cream using crème de la crème ingredients such as milk from Scott Brother Dairy cows (another sibling company where cows roam free on 900 acres and are hormone free producing sensational milk) and offer unique flavor combinations. After a recent poor gelato experience at another LA business; my boyfriend and I decided to reward ourselves with ice cream from Moo Moo Mia on Honolulu in Montrose (this was our second time at this location). Nestled in the charming central Montrose corridor; Moo Moo Mia welcomes with a pastel color wheel façade/signage and a small square footage ice cream shop. When I say 'small'; I genuinely mean small as Moo Moo Mia is tiny with a display case/order counter and a claustrophobic standing room space with a few loose tables outside. This is definitely an "order and get out" establishment. Due to this congestion, Moo Moo Mia felt a bit hectic on both of our visits which always makes one feel guilty to ask for samples in order to not hold up the line. The flavor options at Moo Moo Mia aren't super extensive (there isn't that much to choose from) BUT there do have those unique combinations Mia and Mark boast of with pride. I have sampled a few flavors at Moo Moo Mia such as Honey Lavender (Sweet cream ice cream layered with delicate ribbons of lavender and finished with a touch of raw organic honey - so good with perfect lavender notes!), March flavor of ice cream with Luck Charms marshmallows and Sweet Taro. On our second visit, my boyfriend kept it simple with a single cone ($5.50) of Madagascar Vanilla Bean (Made with imported ground Madagascar vanilla beans) and a kid's cup ($4.25) of March's monthly flavor Coconut Ube for me. Mark and Mia aren't exaggerating about Moo Moo Mia's ice cream as it truly is quite good: creamy, thick and not overly sweet; the texture is perfection. The Honey Lavender holds my heart but the Coconut Ube was also delicious although it tasted of 95% ube with a small 5% after taste of coconut water. Good thing I like Ube! My boyfriend's vanilla was, in his words, "The best vanilla!" and I agree that Moo Moo Mia truly elevates a basic flavor making it extra special. The consensus is that the ice cream is wonderful, no doubt. The customer service at Moo Moo Mia leaves a lot to be desired, however. During both visits the associates were very dry, somewhat curt - although not rude, per se - and are literally only there to get the job done and that's it. Even though this isn't too terrible; it prevents Moo Moo Mia from being a perfect experience. Moo Moo Mia is a delicious and quality option for an ice cream treat that you can truly taste but the lack of numerous flavor options, the teen-tiny shop and the customer service are flaws that keep it from being exceptional. Despite this, Moo Moo Mia is recommended for all ice cream lovers - whether you have a sibling or not!

The mixtures of textures with the thai tea soft serve went perfectly together. I would definitely get it again. The service was friendly and efficient. The shop was clean and there were areas to sit. This small and neat little Ice Cream shop is a little different then the usual offering some special soft serve with some toppings and things to mix inside. Now, I originally came here because my wife likes shops like this, but after ordering what can best be described as a big cup of vanilla ice cream with frosted flakes and chocolate mixed in, I'M SOLD! One thing I will say is that the vanilla ice cream reminds me of going to Carvel as a kid and that's a hill I will proudly die on. Overall, L'moon Creamery definitely has it's own vibe compared to many of the other Pasadena ice cream shops. I'm not in Pasadena too much, but if I ever have a hankering for some delicious soft serve, I know where I'll be heading! Oh yeah, I also had boba thrown in mine, how did I forget that detail?

I ended up finding out about it because of a recent visit so I went back for more flavors…read more I ordered a pint of their delicious Banana ice cream! I think I'm hooked by the way! And I also ordered a Coffee Milkshake. I wished I had asked for additional flavors because I was told you could mix at least 2. Then again, it may depend on the counter person. I was so enthused by the availability of parking spots within the shopping center that I decided to walk around the area! Oh, they have a Target there, too! I'll definitely bring my friends back in the next couple of weekends so we can hang out and enjoy the environment around us.

Got here in the evening. Parking appears limited where I was parked, but I know there are more parking at the town center. Anyway, I got lucky with a close parking spot. No inside seating. Just a couple tables and chairs outside. They weren't super busy at the time. I was the only person in line. This is my 2nd time trying Bruster's. My first time was at their Rancho Cucamonga location. Nick, the staff member who helped me, was very nice and helpful. I asked for recommendations on their best flavors. He graciously offered them. Thank you Nick! I got to sample a handful of flavors... Boston Cream Pie, Sea Salt Caramel, Death By Chocolate, Caramel Macchiato, and Cinnamon. Thanks for the samples! All the flavors were very good except for the Cinnamon which I thought was very light in taste. Since I was driving, I chose an ice cream shake instead of a cup or cone. Caramel Macchiato was my pick! It had a really nice caramel flavor with coffee bean bits. I was slightly disappointed that they didn't pile up the ice cream to the top of the lid. It stopped at the top of the cup. I felt I was shorted some ice cream unfortunately. Hence, 4 stars! Nevertheless, Nick was amazing. His service was fantastic. Wonderful conversation and experience. Ice cream shake was yummy. It was finished before I arrived home. YES, I will come back to try their other unique flavors! Thank you Bruster's!
