Way below average food! We ordered it for pickup and we had so many issues. We ordered 2 double cheeseburgers with lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, onion & shack sauce with extra sauce on the side - for the burgers we got no tomatoes or pickles on either burger and we did not get the extra sauce. Next, we got 2 orders of the 6pc chicken bites with honey mustard and they only gave us 1 of the chicken bites with no honey mustard. Then we got the loaded fries with cheese & bacon and asked for the cheese on the side and they ended up putting it right on them and the fries were soggy and gross. We also asked for ketchup and they did not give us any and when we asked for it they said they couldn't help us. I had Shake Shack for the first time* where I tried the shroom burger (3.3/5) and my friends' cheese fries (2/5). If you're vegetarian, it's a good choice, but I personally didn't feel it was worth the price given the size. Mushrooms also absorb a lot in general, so the burger felt quite oily. They gave me 1/3 piece of a lettuce in the sandwich, so I wish there was more to help counter the fried oiliness. The flavor was good though. Service can be slow at times, and if you find yourself waiting for an order longer than expected, ask about it. Chances are they forgot to (or just didn't) call your name, and immediately just placed your bag inside (instead of outside). The burgers are delicious, the meat is juicy, not greasy, and good quality overall. They offer several different pre-made burgers, or you can make your own. Various toppings available, such as Shake Shack sauce and seasonal white truffle aioli, cherry peppers, bacon, mushrooms, and more. In addition to beef patties, they also offer a vegetarian burger (fried mushroom). Crinkle cut fries are crispy and golden brown on the outside, and soft on the inside, again with the option to have cheese, bacon, or any of the available sauces on top. Shakes and custards are also tasty- vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and cookies and cream; non-dairy options are available. Shake Shack also offers hot dogs, grilled cheeses, chicken sandwiches, and chicken "bites". I have not tried any of them though. Restaurant itself is a little overpriced, but still one of the cheaper restaurants you'll find in Boston. Note: VERY busy location, at all times of the day. Shake shack has quickly risen up the ranks to become one of my all time favorite fast food places. It's a joy to visit every single time. I'm not sure if it's a COVID procedure but the service was impeccable with a server that delivers the food to your table. The service already earns a 5 star rating alone. I am super disappointed in the lack of communication. As busy as it was, I ordered with the kiosk. I received a text saying we will text you when your order is ready as I did a to go order. I requested a receipt just in case but it was an advertisement of north face even though the subject line said receipt of shake shack. 35 minutes pass, keep in mind I just ordered a burger with fries with no salt. At 45 mins I went up and asked and they said 5-10 more minutes with no apology. Finally an hour came by, I finally asked the guy that was dropping off the food and he helped me. We finally made it through what seems to be the pick up line and made our way to another line which was the order line. The menu was off to the wall which was blocked and covered by people waiting to order and you can't see anything under you get to the front of the line. I would suggest there be a smaller menu where the line dividers are so customers can view the menu prior to ordering. Good customer service from the cashier. She was patient and friendly. Once we ordered we struggled to find a seat to enjoy our lunch. We waited about 20 minutes for our food. A young lady came out with a tray of our food but we didn't have a table to sit at... I would also like to suggest to limit the amount of outside guest in here when you have paying customers just trying to enjoy lunch. We saw plenty of people eating outside food and or no food or drink at all. With that being said, we had to eat our food standing up. We finally got a table when we were nearly finished with our meal. Overall this is a really busy location. This location definitely needs to do better with their direction of traffic. The pick up line was swamped with people congested together not allowing customers to come in through the entrance. This is a fast food style establishment with a counter where you order and pick up your food (with the help of a personalized buzzer that you take with you). Help yourself to napkins, ketchup, water, and utensils - this is a self-serve joint. A single burger patty was more than sufficient to this diner. Served hot and fresh, the ShackBurger Cheeseburger was meaty goodness, and I liked their soft potato roll. The strawberry shake $5.29 made with their custard base was a tasty treat also. I sampled their crinkle cut fries $3, and found them nicely crisp and salted. Yes, they have straws (kind of have to with shakes...), but they are COMPOSTABLE straws! Bathrooms are individual, and counted three, although at the time of our visit, two were mysteriously being hogged. Gets pretty packed at peak lunch time but the crew does a great job of getting the line moving and food out of the kitchen quickly. My favorite is their classic Shack Burger or cheeseburger. You can add pickles and onions to it but I think it's good without the add-one; as designed. Fries are the bomb. Lemonades are refreshing and delicious. Staff is efficient and friendly. Tables are cleaned after patrons leave. Awesome location. I tried ordering for the first time using their app and accidentally ordered from the wrong location. Tried calling the location but they weren't able to get to the phone so I asked the cashier at the correct location. She immediately placed my order and called the other location to cancel the order. A real nice location that's constantly busy and fresh. This was my first experience to a Shake Shack and it was really good. Sure, it's a little chaotic when it gets busy and the line is not in a good form, but the rest of the experience is pleasant. Waited in line during a busy convention weekend with friends to try Shake Shack for the first time and get some lunch. We waited in line for about 10-15minutes before ordering, and then another 10-15minutes for all of us to get the food (3 different orders) Everything was delicious, fresh and amazing. As with any Shake Shack on the planet this one was packed; It is hard to find an hour where the line isn't out the door but honestly it moves quick. It gives you a second to collect your thoughts and take it all the sights and smells. I am a sucker for open kitchens and I love seeing the organized chaos in person.
