Just cant say enough good things about Shamrocks! Perfect lil pub for a beer and a bite to eat. Husband and I make it a weekly stop. Nicely divided between the bar and dining room. I have actually only eaten in dining room once, usually eat at bar. Beer is good, with a varied selection weekly, and several house staples. The regular specials, 2 burger Tuesday and unlimited fish and chips Wednesday cant be beat. Never have gotten past the first serving of the fish though. Service is good, bartenders personable and friendly. The manager makes a point of knowing regulars. A large part of going there is the atmosphere. Mixed crowd, tends to be sociable and chatty. My husband and I were excited to try the Shamrock after reading all of these reviews.. First of all, it was HOT in the building and loud. Our waiter was very nice at first, but then he disappeared for a while. When he finally popped back up and took our orders , we both got fish and chips ( since it was so hot and everything else sounded really heavy). The chips were great, the fish.. not so much. For the price you'd think they would give you more. It was basic fried fish that needed salt and more of a crunch. The coleslaw was border line warm so that was kind of a turn off as well. We were seated right next to the brewing room though, so we got to watch a guy mixing things in and that was pretty cool. The beers we had were good and ice cold so we were happy with that. All in all, I wasn't blown away, but we would probably go back if friends wanted to go. read more

I tried the ginger lemon beer, it was not bad, for a beer. I am not a beer drinker. Hubby had the Irish Porter which he said was good. They were out of the black bean veggie burger which was a real bummer since I am a vegetarian. This really limited the menu choices for me. We had the sweet potato waffle fries and left. Shamrock is a great place to enjoy some drinks and food. They have daily deals, today I had some delicious wings for 60 cents each! I really appreciate the friendly environment, and letting us bring dogs on the outside section was a huge plus!! Never have been disappointed with this place! Shamrock is my go-to place in Pueblo. It is in the old part of town and fits the setting perfectly. The chili rubbed Atlantic salmon salad and the chicken green chili mac are always fabulous, but don't try to eat both in one sitting. Or go ahead and try. I like all of Shamrock's crafted brews, but have been stuck on the PAPA (Pueblo American Pale Ale) for a long time. While I like most pale ales, the PAPA is very crisp, hoppy and unique. It's worth the trip to Shamrock just for a PAPA. Shamrock does a great job of keeping its staff for long periods of time. We looked for restaurants near our hotel on Santa Fe while visiting Pueblo. I'm a big fan of Fish and Chips, and have ordered them from Los Angeles to London, Honolulu to Belfast, and these from Shamrock are some of the best. Their house made Irish Porter brew was almost as good as a Guinness pour I enjoyed at the brewery in Dublin. The chips were sliced like thick potato chips, which surprised me as I am used to more traditional long steak fries but they were well seasoned. The fish was perfectly cooked cod in a tasty beer batter. Only complaints were the "pint" I ordered looked more like 12 ounces but it was only $3 happy hour price (same as my wife's generous house white wine). The cole slaw was a little bland but the great house made tarter sauce made up for it. Our server "Lana" brought our orders super fast with a smile. There were more tempting items on the menu, so we may go back. Loved the place!!! read more

After a day on the road, this was a welcomed stop! My husband had the fish and chips and they were done to perfection. He added the Irish Ale and was happy. Since I was driving the next leg of the trip, I passed on the beer. I ordered the meatloaf and it was absolutely delicious! He bbq sauce was not too sweet or overpowering. Great all you can eat fish and chips on Wednesdays. Came at 3:30. Waitress Evalina too busy talking to people in the bar so very distracted. Didn't offer water. Received our first serving. Waited and waited and waited for more fish. She said she had to wrestle small children for our order. Others had received their food and ours was cold when it finally arrived. After a long car ride from Las Cruces, NM my husband who is British and our friends came into Pueblo hoping for a good brew pub. Given the Shamrock was the only one in Pueblo listed in Yelp, we read multiple reviews with mixed impressions - either laudatory or on the wrong side of mundane. We are happy to say we had a great time with our delightful waitress Kyley, my husband and friend found the PAPA Ale flavorsome although a little thin. I had the root beer brewed here and found it hit the spot! Two of us had the Irish Clam Chowder and we concurred it was delicious. All 4 of us had different entrees and enjoyed them very much. The sour dough Rosemary bread was so good you have to be careful or you won't have room to eat your meal. We will definitely come back the next time we stay in Pueblo! Driving through Pueblo on our way to Denver, we decided to stop and get something to eat. We always like to stop at breweries and searched and found Shamrock. Upon entering, the decor is very authentic. We put our name in and were told 20-30 min. After 45 min we were finally told that our table was ready but that it would take at least 40 min to get food after we ordered. Why were we not told this when we put our name down. With 2 kids and not wanting to waste even more time waiting for our food. Total waste of time. Beer was good but we won't be back. Ok, so the Irish weren't known for their food, but this place is certainly worth a stop in. It's located just a block down from the Marriott. We tried a flight of some of their beers. They were all a bit hoppy for me, so I preferred their Red Ale. The waitress was great and took her time to explain anything we needed and brought ice cream for our son. Service was quick from the get-go and with a 2 year old that is much appreciated. You can sit in the bar or the restaurant area. The corned beef was delish. I wasn't a fan of the cabbage but hubby's chicken brocolli pot pie was good as well. My son usually loves pot roast but because most everything is cooked in their local brew, it was a bit bitter for him and he wouldn't touch it. Great vibe and atmosphere. Worth a trip! read more
