Food is always fresh the sweet and sour chicken is all white meat. The food has a very clean taste to it not greasy at all. The crab puffs with sweet-and-sour are a must try. REALLY enjoyed this place. My parents found it in the newspaper a few months back, and have been raving about it. I was in town over Turkey Day, and they brought me. PHENOMENAL food. The Kung Pao beef was unbelievable. I won't even waste my time trying to tell you why, because there are just no words--go order it! The Sun Devil chicken was equally amazing, my mouth is watering as I type. Great / fast service and very modern spin (decor-wise) on a Chinese restaurant. So we have been to this restaurant many times for dinner now ... and keep going back because the food is so good, the help very friendly and efficient and prices reasonable, although on our last visit the portion sizes seemed to have been reduced somewhat, but wow is the flavor good. And so many choices! Plenty of parking available, and usually not crowded inside. Only two downsides ...1) I wish they had a better wine selection .. and 2) on a few visits there was a older lady supervisor? or manager? who was very rude to the staff and even to the occasional customer. We now turn around and walked out when we see she is working. Otherwise, everyone else is extremely nice and hard working!!! Good food will always bring us back!! read more

Been about 5 years since we ate here so thought we'd give it another try. Ordered the Korean Short Ribs and they were horrible! Chewy, fatty and just not good! And they charge $16 for them! I've lived near this restaurant for over 20 years. I've never stopped in until about a month ago. The outside isn't very appealing. The food, however, is fantastic. Best hot and sour soup I have ever tasted. The entrees (honey garlic chicken especially) are also excellent. Great portion size and very quality ingredients. I ordered the "sizzling Korean short ribs" for $15.95 it was chopped up bones the meat looked and smelled bad it went right in the trash, also ordered the "sweet and sour chicken" for $9.00 was old also that went right in the trash, the other things were ok I would of gone back but it was 20 minutes one way. I wanted to look at my order but she kept saying everything is here, I double checked, well it was, just not eatable!! read more

Due to the stench of the cigar place next door, the place reeks. Seriously? I really do not care if people smoke. But when it is effecting a business that you are unable to bring people with COPD or asthma, it is concerning! OK for a mom and pop restaurant it is OKish at best. Our server Claire was most generous to our group. Very attentive and even focused. I gave her a great tip! However, our server Claire, can not control the chef/cook and certainly can not even control the stench from next door. We will not be chowing there again due to our own health concerns with air quality. Sadly, this is a case when a neighbor business is technically causing harm to those with COPD. I shake my head. We were a party of 6 and unfortunately had a new waitress (Michelle). We waited 25 minutes before seeking out someone to take our drink orders ourselves. Our waitress was very slow, seemed not properly trained, made mistakes on our bills, forgot the tea, and egg rolls. We were overcharged $7.00, discovered she switched 2 of our bills. BEWARE! I went here for lunch a few days ago. Here is what happened. The service was slow, the waiter was pretty bad. The food was cold, little flavor, not good. We wanted to leave, I asked for the bill, it was wrong in two sections, I mentioned that to the waiter, he went back and corrected one part. Still overcharging. But I just wanted to leave. He took over 10 minutes to just correct the one part. We wanted a quick lunch, it took over an hour and a half. When the check finally came, I signed and left. When I went to my next stop I noticed my credit card was gone. I immediately knew that the waiter did not return it. I called the restaurant, they acted innocent and dumb about the whole thing, so I drove over there, over an additional hour round trip. Although, tony, the manager seemed really helpful and was looking for the card, the waiter looked very guilty. I told them that if the card did not show up, I was going to call the police. Sure enough I got a call that night that the card miraculously and mysteriously showed up. Of course I had already canceled the card and had to call all the companies that direct bill. Don't go here, you will regret it, and you might just have your credit card stolen as well. read more

Our first time here, after driving half an hour to try the place out. A mish mash of Asian dishes, some of which are hit and miss. We had the lettuce wraps appetizer, teriyaki chicken and Korean sizzling short ribs. The taste and sauces on all three were pretty good. The chicken was tender. But there was too little meat in the filling for the wraps - it was mostly just water chestnut. The ribs were not sizzling but lukewarm and were also the toughest I've ever had. Could not even eat half of the dish. The Chef or manager (he didn't introduce himself) made a lot of excuses when he came over to address the problem, like 'people' around here want their meat well done. Well done and overcooked are two different things. Service was below par, with only one waiter trying to keep up with dine in and take out customers. Won't be coming back here again. read more

Then after we already ordered the soup I asked if we could cancel it and just get combos and the manager said no. Terrible customer service. I will never be back. read more

I've been going to this place since it opened but today when we took our friend for lunch we had an experience that was not to be believed. We ordered soda, club soda and cola. All three drinks were flat. We called the waitress over and told her and asked for new drinks, she obliged and brought then a second drink which was also flat. She got the manager/owner, he came over and said there was nothing wrong with the carbonation machine, the glasses were too clean to hold the carbonation. I asked if everyone else in the country was serving club soda in dirty glasses and he said no, not dirty, moderately dirty and he would do a demonstration and show us we didn't know what we were talking about. I have ordered club soda in restaurants for 40 years and have yet to be served a flat one. Except here. There food is hit and miss most of the time but it's close to home. We got up and left and went to a restaurant with "moderately dirty" glasses. They have lost my business as well as my family and friends. read more

My husband and I ate here for the first time tonite. Eggrolls and barbeque steamed buns for appetizer. Delicious! We shared garlic chicken and mango chicken for our entrees. Both were delicious but the garlic honey chicken had the best sauce ever! We will definitely return! read more

Lately the best thing about this place is the family that owns the place, it is clean and the new restaurant is nice and new. The food was extremely better when they were located at the hole in the wall location at 67th and Bethany Home Rd. I used to eat the shrimp fried rice at least every week. I am not able to go to Peoria often, I last went on a Saturday nite the prices were very high but business was good, I didn't know where I was by that shrimp fried rice it was kind of tatsteless. I think that was just a bad nite, the other diners seemed to be happy. Maybe they changed the food to suit the palates of the current customers. I love the family so much I will go again and tell them how I want my fried rice! read more

i worked here several years ago and wont ever eat here bc of it. to be fair, this was 2015 but its still the same owners and it sounds like practice hasnt changed much. the owners are extremely rude to their employees, and their customers. the lady at front (owner) hangs out on her phone all day and her husband (the other owner) sleeps in the back booth, if they arent doing that they are probably yelling at their employees from across dining room. i think people should know: (1) in the 3 months i worked there i found at least 5 bugs floating in the consistently lid-less sweet n sour sauce tub, "just pick them out" they would say. (2) they re-serve the "unused" rice off of dirty tables to new tables, yes ik, i seriously couldnt believe that, until i witnessed a dishwasher literally take rice, that was just in a buss tub stacked up with dirty dishes and dump it right into the big rice cooker that we served all the rice out of. (3) and somehow maybe least concerning of what iv stated so far, they dont supply the staff with any sanitizer for cleaning tables, instead we were told to use hot water from the tea maker, and yup we just held the diety buss rag straight to the tap, and wiped up a bunch of dirty, sticky tables, and grimy soy sauce bottles with hot water. well i hope at least with covid, they started using sanitizers but the place overall is really gross, i wouldnt even recommend it to someone i hated. read more

The food here is quite impressive. They serve a variety of Asian style dishes, not just Chinese (given the name). The atmosphere is nice on the inside and the prices are very reasonable. I had the Sun Devil Chicken, which was a Vietnamese inspired spicy dish and it was quite tasty. I can't wait to go back and try out a few more items from the menu. Give it a shot! read more

We have been here a few times and never had complaints with the flavor of the dishes. Typical American "Chinese" you find everywhere. What is remiss is the temperature of the food which was served tepid! Crab puffs, tepid, Mongolian Beef tepid! Nothing was served sizzling hot. Even the " egg roll" which is more like the Costco frozen spring rolls were served tepid. So disappointed!! When we get a yen for Chinese, we will go back one more time. If the food isn't served hot, it's bye for good. Two stars because the food wasn't hot. read more

This place was right down the street from my old apartment so my roommate and I used to go twice a week for a sake bomb and food. I have had pretty much everything there. All of the food is great, nothing i didn't like. the service is also great, never have to wait for anything. The ambiance has a classy but at home feeling. the people that work there give you the feeling of at home but he furnishings, music, and lighting are classy. The place is very clean and I will say this, THAT PLACE HAS THE CLEANEST, COOLEST AND NICEST BATHROOMS. read more
